I'm with you, would much prefer to play Adnan, Depay, Rooney and get a new striker in.

Has this come down to the fact that Chelsea agreed to pay the whole £22 million up front, which seemed to be what United were hesitant to do? Or is it that Van Gaal has changed his thinking? Pedro is not a natural 10, he seems to value Mata in the team and Memphis looks much more natural wide left. The apparent shift from pacey wide player to, natural number 10 in the Van Gaal system, Thomas Muller would indicate Van Gaal has changed his mind about what he wants.

I'm not convinced he was ever there, has there been any pictures? Still remember when Gill supposedly flew out to Italy to sign Sanchez. That never happened.
