I don't think loosing out on him would be the end of all, he is not THAT good. Still think he will come here though.
I am kind of the same in my confliction but, I have a different opinion. The pros is that the likes of Januzaj, Fellaini, etc., will get more gametime, but the cons is that we will lose a quality player that we need in our attack. He is good, but it might not be the end of all as you put it.

This is how I feel, he just leaves me a bit cold, I'd happily take him and hope for the best, but he certainly isn't going to be some revolutionary player for us imo.

The fact is though we need a RW to have any chance of doing something this season, so if not him then who?...

Interesting that sky bet now have chelsea as favourites given how strongly he has been linked to us.

Media creates a narrative that Pedro to United is stalling, then link him to Chelsea. Loads of punters place bets on Pedro to Chelsea and the bookies shorten the odds to protect themselves.

Those odds mean nothing really, at some point nearly every summer they shorten the odds on United signing Ronaldo. Which tells you how reliable they are.

But what about Cuadrado, and I thought this was Moses' season? Not fussed if he goes to Chelsea to be honest. I'd be happy if we get him, but non plussed if we don't. Strange mindset to be in!

I'm the same really. I'd quite like Pedro but if he did go to Chelsea, I'm not sure he even improves them.

All of you guys saying you'd want him at United but wouldn't be bothered if he came here is just how I feel.

Wanted him badly before but it's kind of a "meh" signing.

I think he'd be a decent player for whoever gets him.

But you not going to get a world class player or game changer with him.

Apparently were actively trying to sell Cuadrado. Moses is/was never going to be anything more than a squad player. I wouldn't even be surprised to see him gone completely either.

Unsurprising really. He has been an absolute shambles whenever i've seen him. Such a far cry from the raw but devastating player he was at Fiorentina and for Columbia at the WC only last year. Really strange case he's been. Similar to the scenarios with de Bruyne and Salah I suppose. Quite obviously quality players but for one reason or another haven't fit into Mourinho's Chelsea mould.

Felipe Anderson would be exciting, but he has had one good season so i agree with you, there is not many proven quality players available.

What special talent is available? plus, I think we have a special talent in Depay.
Memphis is 21, he can't be relied on to blow teams away every week like a poor Brugge side with half it's team missing.

I will be happy. He is not what we need. We need that special talent. He is just like the rest.
He's considerably better than anything we have on the right at the moment. All the world class tier players aren't available and he's the next best thing.

Who's available that will though?
No one really. Would've loved to see Memphis and Di Maria, but if Pedro is available a proven goalscorer he'll be handy.

Pedro---Mata---Memphis would be a fine 3.

Exactly, Pedro on the right and Memphis on the left making smart runs will help out the attack and give us great pace on both flanks.

De Bruyne simply wasn't given a chance. Salah wasn't good enough.

Cuadrado looks like he's never played football before every time he comes on for us. It's clear now that he's a player who needs to start week in and week out to be effective. Best to just get as much of the transfer fee back for him and move him on.

We should never have sold Schürrle to be honest. Useful player.

I will be so annoyed if we lose out to Chelsea or City. I know Barcelona wanted to keep him for the cups but we should have at least agreed a fee by now. It will be ridiculous if another team swamps in and signs him.

I want him mostly because hes fast and he will force LVG to play Mata centrally. He's wasted out wide, it would be like getting two new players for the price of one.

Could even force him to drop Mata.
Doubt it and really hope not. Mata has been looking better and better, and has played more forward and through passes these few games then at any time in his United career so far. He just didn't have runners in behind which he has now, and that brings the creative best out of him. Having both Memphis and Pedro will only make it better as well.

The problem is - like with Robben - after some time the opponent will keep him off going inside and using his right foot. And the opponents in the EPL are usually physically stronger and faster than in the Netherlands. The guy on the 10 or the striker have to make runs to free him off that so it will be easier for him.

Have y'all seen this? Maybe that's why odds have been slashed .
