Just flipping sign Griezmann or Reus! If only it was that easy....
Griezmann/Reus + Kane/Muller/Benzema would be perfect.
Well that would make it the greatest transfer window in the history of football.

Well if that were the case wouldn't that depend on the players that were actually signed?
I think you went into this window expecting way too much mate.
Signing the likes of Depay, Darmian, Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin cannot be described an anything other than very good business.
Nearly all the major issues in the squad sorted with only another versatile attacker and maybe a CB needed.
Obviously they have to be the right players. Pedro would be a good signing.
That's two major issues you speak of. Plus if we lose DDG and don't replace him with someone of his quality, that's a bit of a problem in my opinion.
Yeah but we didn't sign Messi.Mediocre? Signing Memphis, Schneiderlin, Schweinsteiger, Darmian, Romero and Pedro, and you're calling it a very mediocre window?
The state of some people on here, fecking hell. 5 players who would walk into the majority of teams in the league, and then Argentina's starting goalkeeper. All for reasonable fees.
What's he supposed to do? Replace them. That's it.
From the start of the Pedro rumours one thing that got mentioned a lot was that Barca did not want to sell until after the cup games they are playing to start the season. How much has this dragged this transfer out?
Only asked because have read some comments blaming us for dragging our heals being cheap etc.It hasn't dragged it out at all. Its just a fake media narrative. If we want to sign Pedro, he wants to join us, and Barca are willing to sell then the transfer will happen imo. If it doesn't, then one or more of the three conditions wasn't met. What the media have to say about it is irrelevant.

After seeing Memphis on the left Friday night, I'm not all that excited about Pedro. He's better than Young, and would be useful to have, but Memphis should be first choice on the left.
Especially not if they get de Bruyne too, it's surely 1 or the other. Nasri/sterling/navas/silva/de Bruyne/pedro would definitely be overkillOne thing that puzzles me is the City link: If Pedro wants to leave Barca for more game time, will he get it at city?
Signing Messi no longer cuts it. It's now necessary to sign the next Messi as well.Yeah but we didn't sign Messi.
If you do that, then the other players in the future won't accept this gentleman agreements and will insist in clauses.
Which has feck all to do with Pedro as he would play on the right, the position he pretty much always played at Barcelona. After seeing Memphis on the left Friday night, I'm not all that excited about Pedro. He's better than Young, and would be useful to have, but Memphis should be first choice on the left.
There again Jackson got it off us morons on here.AS copying Jamie Jackson...
Talk about morons leading morons.
James Milner played lot of games last season in a similar position that Pedro can play - I think we can safely say that Pedro will. One thing that puzzles me is the City link: If Pedro wants to leave Barca for more game time, will he get it at city?

It wasn't so much the game time it was because he wanted to play in central midfield. And Milner left them due to lack of gametime, doubt that Pedro would be content with it either.

Pedro can play on both wings. After seeing Memphis on the left Friday night, I'm not all that excited about Pedro. He's better than Young, and would be useful to have, but Memphis should be first choice on the left.
How good is Pedro compared to Sanchez?
How good is Pedro compared to Sanchez?
Suited Barca better then Sanchez did as he's more of a team player and more about doing little give and go's, more of a supporting cast player so to speak. Sanchez is more direct and an individual. Sanchez is definitely a better player, but Pedro is still a very good player. How good is Pedro compared to Sanchez?
What exactly did Memphis do on Friday that convinced you he's better than Pedro??After seeing Memphis on the left Friday night, I'm not all that excited about Pedro. He's better than Young, and would be useful to have, but Memphis should be first choice on the left.
Good answer! Covers all bases. He may be worse, equally good or even better than Sanchez
He may be worse, equally good or even better than Sanchez
Aye. But he might not...
Would instantly displace Navas, and their attack would be even scarier than it is now.One thing that puzzles me is the City link: If Pedro wants to leave Barca for more game time, will he get it at city?
I agree and he is a better acquisition than De Bryune for £50m since, City already has Silva who is very similar to Bryune. I hope he comes to United and if he does, that will be a great addition to our team.Would instantly displace Navas, and their attack would be even scarier than it is now.
