Juve really are heartless bastards

Kind of wish we had he same sort of management...

The difference is they are doing it to a very good player, with lots to offer who is adored by the fans.

Our club wont do it to shit players with little to offer and are hated by the fans

That's true. Juve are taking a big risk here. If they don't have a great season and Dybala does well for us there will be hell to pay for them.

They don't give a feck whether he is good or bad or loved or hated. They believe that they pay good salaries hence they shouldn't be worried to call the shots. Once the time is up its simply up.

This will happen. Utd still have considerable pulling power. Dybala will be a poster boy for Utd. Good looking chap who about to hit his peak. He will millions in shirt sales and image rights.

Does anyone else in the continent do a 25 for not getting to CL?

No idea on specifics, but I imagine there are similar clauses at clubs that are not guaranteed CL football. The likes of Real Madrid, Barca, PSG, Bayern and Juve probably don't use them, as they fully expect CL football and are pretty much secure in that. Those clubs that are aiming for CL football but are by no means guaranteed it are more likely to use it. Unfortunately, we've let ourselves slide into that that second bracket of clubs, partly through our own deficiencies and partly through the competitiveness of the PL.

In a kind of way, I respect it. Ruthless desire to improve. Their DOF is in other countries actively trying to flog players. We just tell agents, who have no incentive to move their clients on, to look for options. We have been trying to sell Damian for two years for example. Rojo is still here. Defies belief.
On wider note, pretty confident this is a goer.

So what we saying on this happening now? 70/30 against?

95% for 5% against. That 5% is based on the fact we haven't had any real credible updates on how the talks went. If Dybala just rejected us outright might be in trouble,

but this almost seems like a nailed on transfer. Di Marzio made comments about the negotiations being to the stage of "image rights", i don't think i've seen a recent transfer collapse once the press start leaking that info.

Is there any theories as to why Juventus is treating Dybala this way? Besides how desperate they want to see Lukaku’s first touch with Ronaldo. Is it a case of supporting their manager/controlling player power or believe Dybala is in decline and not a slump ? Really is cold and calculated if this works out for them and we get Dybala !

Imo, it's purely tactical. The technical team probably feel they need a pure number 9 and in a system as rigid as Sarri's 433, Dybala has no spot apart from the false 9. So they have decided to cut him loose.

Dybala was doing really well in his natural position for Juventus but when they signed Ronaldo, they shifted him to an unfamiliar position to accommodate him. He has failed to inspire in that new position.

Sarri also likes to have a big number 9.

Dybala's best attributes all come into play when he has the ball at the edge of the box. If he's played in a role that doesn't allow that, the use of his skillset will be very limited.

I hope we never do stuff like this. You really are a petty club if you pull a stunt like that. People talk - players talk. How many of Dybala's friends or colleagues are likely to join Juve in the near future ?

Ronaldo asked Dybala who's better, Messi or Ronaldo. Unfortunately he answered Messi.

Ronaldo went straight to the DOF and asked for Dybala to be sold, as it was creating a poor working experience. The rest is history.

Sarri, Paratici communicating to Dybala to move to Manchester.

Good player im just worried He'll be forced to move thus creating another Di Maria.

We've got Dybala, Paul Pogba, Slab Head.....

Exactly this.

If he'd jumped at the chance to sign for Ole from the beginning, I would have loved him. As it is, it looks like he'll come to United kicking and screaming.

It's a fairly standard thing to say that players underperform when they want to leave a club or because they're not happy. That's where the idea of player power comes from. It would be a massive risk to bring in a player who has that feeling from day one. As you say, United made the same mistake with di Maria.

Paulon!

Shows that things can change in a few days in the transfer window. Maguire done, Dybala close and Fernandes a matter of time. As far as incomings go, not a lot more we could ask for, maybe another midfielder?
Mandzukic sounds close too, genuinely think that could be a shrewd bit of business and very unlike us of late.

Also I genuinely don’t think we should be signing any player who a club so publicly wants rid of - there always has to be a reason

We had to prise AWB and Maguire away from their clubs. Those are the sorts of players you want to be signing.

Doesn’t want to leave Juventus doesn’t mean he has no interest to play for United like Di Maria.

I am not so sure. Di Maria really started well for us - then his house was broken into - that’s really bad. Also by all accounts, he has a much stronger mentality and ethics than Di Maria. Here’s hoping and here’s to him actually coming to us!
