Yeah, a false 9 or right striker in a pair would be where I'd envisage him in our team. In regards to not suiting him, if we're bringing in two attackers we'll basically be rehauling our attack anyway, so if we're interested, it's because he suits the attacking setup we're planning to develop. I mean, it would be pretty hard to end up in a square peg in a round hole situation when it's essentially a blank canvas.Not as an attacking mid but like a support striker sort of role, same as griezmann. Not a right sided player (though hes played there in the past, but it's not the best use of him). Not a #9 or lone striker. Not a left sided player. That leaves the #10. He could probably do a false 9 type of role. United isnt set up to suit one though.
Also, going back a bit, didn't he play as the lead striker at Palermo? Not going to pretend I watched him back then.
