Paulo Dybala

They'd sell for everything above 3 digits. Juve run on a smart business model that's allowed them to box with the big boys despite not having the money to do so. No way they turn down an offer that could end up with them having the ability to sign three quality players.

Could see this happening but in an ideal world we also break the bank for Hazard (I know),get Ozil and Goretzka/Savic and obviously a FB, wishful thinking but that lot would definitely ensure the League would be a 2 horse race as opposed to one!

I'm curious why some of you are confident on this. Is it because they sold us Pogba two years ago? Also i don't think Dybala fancies a move to Manchester himself unlike Pogba

Yeah, this isnt happening. I would give it 1%, and that is even too much

Can we fix the wings first please? Also can we focus in thinking about the replacement of Fellaini and Carrick?

Well we aren't going to buy for the left wing as that's where we are developing Martial and Rashford, and we've been linked with Malcom for the other wing, and with the CM's it's harder because of Jose's preferred formation.

Would be perfect in that he'd be that game changing world class player we need in the attack. Feck knows how he would play with lukaku, but then again, for the most part I think lukaku limits us from reaching that top tier. With dybala I think I'd rather play him alongside Martial where they can switch with each other with who is the leading man and who drops deeper. You definitely don't want to keep him on the flank and we should put him central, remains to be seen though.

Doubt we'll get him and would require 150m+. But if we have the chance, we absolutely shouldn't hesitate and throw the money at them. Also think he's one of the few players who are pretty much system immune and would shine wherever. You build around them. Someone who can do something on his own out of nothing, and we definitely need someone like that. Would take a lot of pressure off martial/rashford to be the main creators too.

I read( it is on croatian so i will not post a link) that juve refused our official 80 mil plus mikhi bid. Is it possible that we really are going for him? Too good to be true. Too good......:(

Written in The Sun by some unknown. Wouldn't pay attention to it.

Look like United are treating Juventus as shopping meat in the market for United, they'll have to serve us their best meat like Pogba and next two meals is Sandro and Dybala.

He's also said a few weeks ago that United would offer Darmian in order to get Sandro, but Juve would reject that and want Blind instead. He hasn't a clue what's going on and just makes up stuff.

Apologies if this has been posted already. The Sun (albeit not the most reliable) are reporting we had our first bid rejected.

I really hope we are not stupid enough to believe juventus will sell Dybala midseason.

If this even happens it happens in the summer.

I think juve might be forced to turn their heads if we bid somewhere in the region of 110m-115m. We've begun low balling them.

Do we think he would be signed as well as Ozil or is it one or the other?

I was wondering this too, I can't see how you fit them both in unless one of them plays RW, I haven't seen enough of Dybala to know if he can play there, surely Ozil would be AM?

Won't happen in a WC year. His value will either rise massively or stay about the same (100m+?) depending on his performances in the summer.

Would be a dream signing for me. I watch a lot of serie A and have watched his development since the early days at Palermo. I have absolutely know doubt he will be a top 3 in the world player in the next 3 years.

Usually I'd agree, but with Dybala that's not the case imo. 1. He's reportedly had a falling out with the board/manager 2. He won't make the Argentinian squad as his style is too similar to Messi anyway.

He'd be my ideal signing, Dybala playing off Lukaku with Martial, Rashford or Lingard as the other player behind Lukaku would be tasty. That being said, I don't see it happening, then again I didn't think Pogba would happen either so I guess what I'm trying to say is I know feck all.

It's happening

Would absolutely love Dybala. He's the sort of player along with Pogba to build a team around.
My biggest worry is the whole square peg round hole scenario.

in a 4231 I'd assume he plays as a number 10, but that leaves a Pogba / Matic midfield that just doesn't have the protection needed.
That is unless we reverted to a 352 formation. Our wing play is useless after all

433 could work - width from attacking fullbacks, good balance in midfield and play one of the two wide forwards tucked inside.

442 diamond would be ideal but Jose isn’t going to change now.

He’d be a star player and the way transfer fees are going £130m would probably be a steal 2-3 years down the line. Sign him up.

Would absolutely love to get him, but will we really spunk £130m in January especially when he's ineligible for the CL and the title race is basically over? I find it hard to believe.

Half a season to settle in and hit the ground running next season. He’d probably get us over the line for the top four and we’d still have the FA Cup for him to play in

I never really get the whole CL argument.
Sure he can't play in it, but if we signed him in the summer, he'd still not play in the CL for us this year

Recent report already said Mourinho doesn't like Griezmann but the club and Woodward interests to sign him. I felt Griezmann is that kind of player he would love to get, pace, defense contribution and goalscorer.

Dybala is more skillful and technically better than Griezmann. I really doubt Mourinho can get the best of him.

Personally he is the player I want the most.

Not one to get dragged into transfer rumours but what difference would it make if we were to buy him now or in the summer? If anything, his price would probably go up in July.

Dybala is The One. He and Pogba in the same side should give us enough creativity. I’m beginning to think Jesse needs to play too. I think a Spurs-like front three, with narrow support strikers would suit Dybala and Jesse. Also suits Martial too, being a bit more central. I think Rashford should compete for the 9.

agree with all of that, would be devastating

This is most definitely not happening. No way Juve sell mid-season, just forget about it.

Nailed on for RM.

He doesn't much fancy the PL from what I've gathered. Even had a sly dig at us when we bought Pogba.

De Gea
Lindelöf Bailly Jones
Valencia Matić Pogba Shaw
Dybala Martial
Lukaku

Potential to improve wingbacks, Jesse and Rashford in depending on form. Also, more CM depth would be great.
