People get exceptionally touchy over Pogba and don't get me wrong would love him here, will transform our team.

Just hope this gets sorted my tomorrow, Monday latest.

Jose has already stated in an interview that he is looking to get the deal done next week.
It won't happen tomorrow.

I personally think that next Friday (or thereabouts) will be Pog day.
If it doesn't happen by then, he'll be playing for Juve this season.

The delay is Juve trying to get a replacement tied down it seems.

Well if the deal is depending on Juve first getting in a replacement than clearly it isn't as done as many on here claim right ?

What if Juve don't manage to tie down a replacement ?

Jose basically conformed it yesterday ffs!

Is there any way to stop ppl saying basically ,pretty much ,almost and practically done ..thats wat is most annoying in this thread

Until its done its not done end of story.. ppl have said this deal is nearly done for weeks now .

Exactly these are the longest 48 hours ever

It just isn't done yet, it might get done in the next days or next week or it might not get done at all but one thing is defiantly certain and that is that isn't done right now so people really need to stop talking like it is.

I would call it 'crossing the Ts'. They probably want to sign their player up before letting Pogba go. Jose did say he wanted all this tied up before the first league match. Or at least I thought I heard that.

I'm sure this is going through. Most likely Thursday we will see him here.

No he didn't. He's got other targets and he said he hopes we have another signed by the start of the season. That could apply to any of our targets.

He also said we are going to get a top midfielder. Who else can it be? Matuidi? Dont make me laugh

Doubt we'd have allowed it to look that way without this deal being sorted tbh
I thought the same thing. I can't see Adidas doing that if there was not a mutual agreement by both Juventus and United. It'd be a stupid thing to do in all fairness

The man thinks Rooney is a specialist on the 10 and one of the best player in the world. It is so hard to imagine he would sign Matuidi and call him a top midfielder ?

People will never learn it seems. Simple truth here is that until it's done it's not done.

And with Allegris comments today it seems we are still a bit away off from an agreement with Juve.

No point in painting people as "the negative camp" when really all they are is the realistic camp

Football has a habit of turning extremely quickly....

What is the text speech about? Jesus Christ.

That Adidas advert will looks so fecking awkward if this doesn't push through

Is that the advert which has a poster of MUFC?
If so, that means nothing. It could mean that he once he played for MUFC. And that's in his past.
Also, MUFC are sponsored by Adidas, so there is absolutely nothing wrong with a Juve player, being in advert, while walking past a poster of MUFC.

The problem is that a lot of muppets read too much into adverts...but then that's what Adidas wants. They want muppets to watch an advert 100 times and it is the ad agency's job to create the advert which entices people to do exactly that.

It is true what you say, no reliable source has really confirmed it. I do think we want him, I do think we are negotiating, but why the feck does everybody pressume that it is a done deal ?

I want to believe it is a done deal, but if it was wouldn't we have the BBC reporting it ? Wouldn't we have some sort of official confirmation by now, wouldn't we atleast now that Pogba's holiday is over see him going to Manchester instead of Turin.

This is not done yet

Couple that with the whole 'don't believe everything you read in the papers' and Raiola's twitter rants about journalists and this could all be a load of shit.

The Sneijder and Vidal sagas were very similar and i called bullshit throughout because it became apparent that the media were creating a saga to keep us coming back for more. Adding more fuel to the fire each day. I thought this was different but I'm starting to think I've fallen for the same shit too.

Very true

Ramos, Vidal, Fabregas, Thiago, Sneider, Hazard,

I have learned

He is expected back on training at Juve, both clubs nor player nor his agent have said anything about the move, nor has the BBC, the most reliable source that has reported it as done has been Di Marzio and he has been wrong before.

It is not done, end of story

It's practically done, it's so obvious. Jose confirmed as much.

I'm sure he believes all his targets are top midfielders. Do you think he wouldn't call Matuidi that if we end up with him? Dont make me laugh.
Do you not think if we wanted Matuidi we'd have him by now? Why would we be wasting time on Pogba when we would have gotten Matuidi ages ago and given him a bit of a pre-season with us.
He'd have been a lot easier to get, and we likely could have gotten him around the same time as the others

Actually the most reliable source is Duncan Castles (who has a direct line to Jose/Mendes), the guy who kicked off this whole transfer story, who reported the final agreement mid-week http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/...d-trafford-return-8554978#Abh51QqHtLbSjI5Y.97

Di Marzio has followed this up by reporting about Juve lawyers meeting at their HQ to sign off on all of the documents and get them to the Juve directors to sign, which is a long and complex process due to the size of the fee and the multitude of additional clauses/payments/rights.

The weight of evidence suggests this is in its very final stages, and he will be heading to Manchester this weekend.

We literally have no rivals to beat for his signature, we have the money, neither clubs have denied anything, most journos have already said that everything is done and is merely waiting for announcement after his return (Italian media isn't even doubting the transfer)

it's done. Just because it hasn't been announced doesn't mean it's not done. Do you actually think we announce on Twitter the second documents are signed?

Jose basically conformed it yesterday ffs!

Look back at what he said about Mkhitaryan in his first press conference. He confirmed the transfer even though nothing was official.

Yesterday he said that Pogba is a Juve player. That he hoped to get our business done before the start of the season but he was not sure if it would be our first choice player or one of the other 2.

He was no where near as sure yesterday that we would get Pogba as he was that we 'had' signed Mkhi. He was fairly confident that one of our targets would be here by next weekend.

The bed wetters are out in force because of a predictable statement by their manager.

Remember LVG saying last year he was expecting Di Maria back at training from his holidays, when all the while it was being agreed for him to go to PSG?

It ain't done until it's done.

Gerrard did a late u-turn after agreeing a move to Chelsea.

Vieira had agreed to go to Real Madrid, ended up staying at Arsenal at the 11th hour of the transfer.

Willian was undergoing his Spurs medical when Chelsea hijacked the deal.

This deal is 95% certain to be done but until pen is put to paper, he's still a Juve player.

I'm sure that the club has a responsibility to shareholders etc to announce a £100m expenditure. If it's a done deal then we would surely have to announce it. If not, Juve themselves would.

We have previous unfortunately

No one has to announce anything to shareholders.
