I'm pretty sure we'll want to announce the deal after smashing the world record. Our persona under Woodward seems to be that we want the world having their eyes on us when we make signings and announcements.

Gotta love how the people bringing up Allegri's comments are ignoring the fact that Van Gaal said the same thing about Di Maria. As well as countless other managers that have made comments about a player still being their player before a transfer was completed while it was in the process of happening. Stop acting like Allergi came out and said "Pogba is staying for this season"

Of fecking course the deal isn't 100% officially done, if it was this thread would be locked and we'd have had an announcement.

How come Marotta hasn't uttered a peep of denial with all these reports of a deal being done?
 
So no new tweets or any updates except that Allegri quote? what about the Sky claiming Saturday he was suppose to fly in? I presume the deal isn't done as everybody claim it is, there seems to be little details holding up, and if any announcement was to be done tomorrow there would have been a flurry of activity today. So the earliest it can happen will be Monday or Tuesday.

not saying he does since it's impossible to know unless he says it but it's not something that far fetched. We'd most likely to go a bit further with wages and not only that, the kid knows the club and has many friends here, also he has described himself as a "mancunian" before. Now he was likely promised to be made the star man or at least core part of the team, and potentially face of the club (we have had a slump but United is a juggernaut too), under one of the best managers in football. Looking at our recent transfer dealings we are clearly ambitious. It's all too tempting.

Off course Real is always a tempting proposition too, especially on the back of a CL triumph and having a start studded squad and a French manager, one which most French kids idolise, but I feel like in this particular case it would not surprise me if he indeed preferred the move to something he "knows"

We do know.
Jose, in yesterday's PC, explicitly stated that we are negotiating a deal for Pogba, with Juve.
Nothing is confirmed, but he is hopeful that next week, we will complete the deal.

That's speculation. Nothing official from the club yet, #10 shirts are for sale under Pogba and #21 shirts for Dybala in Juventus' store.
