Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Same here, and a lot of my posts have been in this thread too. I don't understand what's sad about it, there's not a great deal else to talk about during off-season. The Pogba thread was always going to be the most active.
Exactly. I mostly post tweets I get into here to get everyone clued up. It's not exactly sad, just want to help.

Still cant believe we've bought Zlatan and Pogba in the same window. Unfeckingbelivable!
Van Gaal- spends 2 years complaining about the lack of height
Mou- Fixed that in a single window

What happened to all the depressing, "He's off to Madrid!" bastards? This thread was the height of depression yesterday.

Looks like that was just agent talk, leaking that to the press prob panicked us a bit and prob saw us stump up his cut of the fee. I'm disgusted an agent is getting that much money on top of us paying well over the World record transfer fee but at the same time from a business perspective he's played it well.

I won't be surprised if we also add Fabinho

I can clearly picture it - Pogba, all smiles, wearing the new kit saying he loves the club and how much he wants to win trophies with us. Mourinho stood in the background grinning.

Do we United fans deserve this window?
After losing Beckham then Ronaldinho to Madrid in the same window. Yes, Yes we do.

Have Madrid actually signed any player so far apart from getting Morata back? Strange to see them so quiet in the transfer market especially with the possibility of a transfer ban next year.

That would be something wouldn't it. We would have the best squad in the league by a mile, such a far cry from the helter skelter transfer window of VG. Although I'd prefer to buy another CB instead of a RB and shift Bailly to RB.

Have we signed Paul Pogba?

Do people tweeting that we might be about to soon change that?

I'll be excited about signing him when I know we're signing him. Not when people post things on twitter. I'm constantly baffled by transfer muppetry.

I remember that thread but I'm sure it was a different one. That was people arguing he was lazy when every game I saw and everything said about him from training staff, other players etc. suggested the exact opposite. It was just sour grapes because he was leaving...although I'm sure someone would have brought Tunnicliffe up as for some unknown reason everyone seemed to think he was an answer to something at the time.

I remember another thread where people were having a go at me because someone randomly said I was comparing Tunnicliffe to Lee Cattermole and that this was a massive insult, and I was trying to point out that Tunnicliffe would actually be pretty succesful if he made it to the same level as Lee Cattermole...even though I never even mentioned Lee Cattermole until after someone told me to stop comparing Tunnicliffe to him.

Somehow Pogba leaving made people think Tunnicliffe was a million times better than he ever was.

I also remember a lot of people being very happy with Pogba leaving because he was greedy for asking for £20k a week (rumours).

Still not sure...same as I said before. I'll believe it when there's something official or something from someone direct. I can't get excited over people putting tweets on twitter. It's horrendously boring and means nothing.
You seemed very sure here:
We're not signing Paul Pogba. At some point a majority of people in this thread are going to have to deal with that.

What news do you think we will get today?
If Di Marzio was being conservative with the 48hr claim, his big pogba update today could confirm it's done. When they say 48 hours i just assume they actually mean "before the weekend".

Another big update tonight? IMO, Very likely.

Not too much i'd think. i'm guessing the majority of the news will be tomorrow or Saturday.
There might be a little bit of news later on today/tonight saying a deal is even closer, but i wouldn't expect much in the way of exciting news today

48 hours ties up neatly with the end of the month. Its likely I think that United (and possible Juve also) set up that deadline for them to get Pogba so as to leave enough time to pursue alternatives in case it doesn't work out.
