WHat is this shite ive been waiting for five weeks aint no thing happened, im a go catch a bullet somewhere if you know what i mean.

has there been any significant update since like last week? post count for this thread has blown up since I last checked.
I've only checked Twitter about Pogba since yesterday evening....since then Pogba has posted a photo with him and Raiola in Miami on Instagram......but nothing important has happened in the press/media since last week (Lot of "Blah blah blah").

I dont like it when these sagas drift on and on....i feel like a kid when asked to wait for hours before im aloud my sweets. I WANT EM NOW and i Want Pogba to sign NOW.
Im still waiting for those sweets.....

We.may not reach that as mods are on a mission to clean the thread of useless posts

But but there are no useless posts in the Pogba thread, all posts have a special purpose.

On the topic: Premium Sport says Pogba to United will be closed on Wednesday. €120 mill fee agreed.

It's my 30th birthday on Wednesday, what a present that would be. A big thank you from Woodward for having his back on here these last few years. I'm beginning to understand the delay.

Can we then name it Pexogba wednesday if it comes off? Or just Poggers double?

I would love to know what Mourinho's plan B is if Juve had to continue asking for more money, or if something else had to happen.

Obviously the money will be spent on a deal-by-deal basis, so it wouldn't be a "what to do with an extra 100m quid", but more of a "how would Mourinho sign a player or two to fill that Pog position while still showing we have buying power".

The deal is done AFAIK. Can't keep asking for more Money. Should remind Juve... the player wants to leave, we're offering more than your initial asking price, we're paying agents fees too.

Let's conclude the deal.

"lie in wait" They wont pay his transfer fee, let alone the 25m commission, so what are they in wait for? Everyone to suddenly drop their demands? Horse manure

it's so weird. Why are the spanish press basically making Zidane look like a 14 year old girl that is texting her boyfriend, yet we get more reliable info from Di Marzio's crew that Madrid are basically stuck on the sidelines, have basically no chance without James being sold, or Kroos going to Juve? :wenger::wenger:

This smells like such a Perez deflection for missing another target.

Zidane is on the phone with him every day apparently (according to twitter). Sloppy journalism.

Pogba might not even have Zidanes number for all we know and vice-versa.

Does anyone else think agreement has been reached with Juve and it's basically posturing from them? Announcement has been delayed because they want to wrap up Higuain deal first and give the impression to their fans that they can afford to buy him as well as retain services of Pogba. If the talks had broken down surely we would've heard something by now? I expect this to be announced few days after Higuain has been concluded.

The longer this deal drags on the more Ed is going to get grief if the deal falls through for some reason, and I suspect Jose will be at the front of the que.

Liking how after past week of dismissing Pogba's ability as a player, Marca and AS have again started the Pogba rumors since the United deal has been delayed. Joke of a publication.

GdS, who were the first to claim Juve would go after Higuain and tied it to pogba leaving ( Front page of the paper was HIGUAIN IN POGBA OUT) said yesterday that Juve demanded Kroos in any deal for pogba. They (spanish media) are such jokes i think Perez is just faxing them stories and they print them without fact-checking.

Last tuesday, this weekend, today, tomorrow... just get it done already, it's getting tiresome :(

Juventus nets spend in 2013-2014 was a surplus of 11m, in 2014-2015 it was 14m and in 2015-2016 it was 48m. This year they bought Pjanic, Pjaca, Lemina and loaned Benatia + they look set to buy Higuian for 90m and Gabigol.
There's no way that Juventus would buy Higuain without knowing for certain that Pogba is a goner. Napoli are their version of Liverpool, Higuain is their version of Gerrard and the only way Juve have to get the player is to trigger the release clause ie 90m in cash. Juve doesn't have that amount of money and they wouldn't blow 2-3 years worth of transfer money on a 29 year old unless they know that they are recouping the money through Pogba

Am sure people like Pogba, Raiola, Woody, Mourinho etc do not chase transfer tweets or tabloid news like some of us do. They're in the business themselves, the actual key players and decision makers. Whatever's done is done for them, and it does not change unless something really significant happens. There's no hurry for them to announce anything until they're happy and ready to do so.

IMO, Pogba has no special love for Real the way Ronnie did. He just wants a move to a bigger club and a stronger league, and money talks too of course. If we do manage to sign him this summer, and we get into CL and fight for/win the biggest trophies regularly, then we're no different from Real.

The only stumbling block here I foresee is Pogba deciding to stay at Juve for one more season.

He is not staying at Juve, that much is pretty clear unless they decide to cash in on Bonucci. No way will they spend that much on a striker like Higuain otherwise. It's either us or Real for Pogba next season, most probably us.

Tuttosport: Witsel looks for Juve, pending the conclusion of the Pogba case

Far as I can figure out.... Headline says: 'Witsel looks for Juve, pending the conclusion of Pogba file'
Article headline further down says: 'Pogba : Today to close with United'

Pretty sure that all this talk of Zidane calling Pogba to profess his love for him is considered as 'tapping up'. If Marca continue with this tripe Madrid could end up getting a transfer ban, oh wait.......

But you are forgetting that Higuain is not actually completed and probably only will be completed if Pogba is sold. If they keep Pogba, they can just shelve the Higuain deal.

Please god let this come to an end. I've witnessed too many transfer sagas. My heart cannee take it anymore.

Higuain deal is at the point of no return. Higuain is public enemy number 1 in Naples and Juventus will look extremely bad if they pull out of that deal. It will go through, so will the Pogba deal. Just a matter of few more days now.
