Tbh, I just wanted to post that somewhere

Don't understand a word he's saying but if he released a rap single, I'm buying! Love paddy.

To summarize he says: "What am I suppose to do with all these trophies?"

For the whole of the 30 seconds?

We want a word by word breakdown Rouve! It's our paddy and we want to know everything!

My favorite question is what am I going to do with all these trophies?(mmmh)
With all these trophies, with all these trophies.(mmmh)

My favorite question is what am I going to do with all these trophies?(mmmh)
It deserves a bit of respect, it deserves a bit of respect.(mmmh)

My favorite question is what am I going to do with all these trophies?(mmmh)
I've got so many under my feet, I've got so many under my feet.(mmmh)

My favorite question is what am I going to do with all these trophies?(aaah!)

It's a real shame we couldn't get Paddy and Ibrahimovic in the same team. As for Pogba, he should return to United - fire his agent and fulfill his potential

Not sure why so many people are sceptical about this one. I think if we try hard enough we can get him. It will just cost a lot.

Happily spunk £60-70m on him. I know Juve say they want a world record but I think if a bid that size comes across their desk they'll find it hard to turn down.

Whether Pogba would want to come back is another matter. A move back to United would probably generate more hype than even a galactico switch to Madrid or Barca. Jose is a big fan evidently and he's a pull in his own right.

If City go for him as well it could be tough. Having said all that I get the sense he's holding out for a move to Real or Barca.

Probably a non starter in all honesty.

with jose anything is possible.

varane, pogba, zlatan and another RW and we will be PL champions again.
No, because according to the blue shite, no one will ever beat pep and man city and every player who's world class will only choose them

Not sure he strikes me as a Guardiola type player. Maybe I'm wrong.

We've got a chance to sign any player with the money we can offer. Other clubs may want him but may not be prepared to commit those kind of funds if they need to invest elsewhere or if paying big money upsets the balance in terms of what other players are getting.

Mourinho will attract players and he may be willing to build a team around a player like this.

Can see us bidding 80m to even 100m on him... Would possibly be enough for Juve to even accept it. I think it's more likely we'll just stick with Joao Mario or someone like that though since we can't spunk everything on one player. Maybe after we get Ibra, Stones, Mario and a right winger, we would look at how much we've spent and see what's left.

I think its very possible that United and City go head-to-head for Pogba this summer, sort of the first battle in the coming war. For me, he makes sense for both clubs. Pep showed this past year that he is perfectly comfortable playing with dual 8s, one like Thiago that is more technical that knits it all together and one like Vidal with more energy and physical presence. I don't see any reason that Pogba wouldn't fit right into a Guardiola team. He is like a bigger, more technical and somewhat less energetic Vidal. I think United's midfield remains the weakest part of the team, ultimately full of squad players. Pogba would be a massive improvement.

PSG is really the only other club that I see being willing to pay a very, very high fee for a player like Pogba who is neither a forward nor a pure 10. Barcelona and Madrid are both destinations in theory but I believe both of those clubs have much shakier finances than they let on. They have big wage bills and, especially in the case of Madrid, massive debts. Pogba is sort of a luxury player for both teams. Its not really even clear that he improves Barcelona that much. I'm not sure he can play Iniesta's role in the team so he would really be a Rakitic replacement. But while Pogba is the better player, Rakitic is very well suited for the role he plays and perhaps even the superior option just from a functional team building perspective. He makes more sense for Madrid but they have many options in midfield already and, again, I believe their finances - despite massive revenues - are weaker than they let on. These teams tend to spend big on their front three and much less on their midfields, which exist to facilitate the galacticos up front, not to be the stars themselves.

There is no signing that would make happier than Pogba. For years I quietly waited to see him to turn into a superstar - just a pity it was for Juventus.

As has been often mentioned Fergies decision to play Park and Rafael (or was it Fabio) in midfield ahead of Pogba utterly baffled me at the time, especially for a manager so fond of youth. After that, I know Pogba thought he was worth a lot of money, but was he wrong? Letting him go for free was Fergies worst ever transfer mistake, I would be very pleased if we correct that mistake. He is still only 23!

When you see the sort of fees that are going to paid this summer, a world record fee for a talent as big as Pogba and aged 23 will seem fair.

PSG play in the French league. Unless he is keen on living in France again, I see no reason he would choose them.

Barca by all accounts do not have space on their wage bill for another big earner.

Real - maybe they will move for him.

City - can definitely see them chasing.

Us - we have a great chance to get him if we go for him. I really don't understand how some people doubt this.

I am usually the last person to know about anything transfer related but I've a mate who works for Paddy Power and he says all the talk at work is about 2 professional footballers from Sweden (and friends of Zlatans) who laid fairly significant cash on United signing both Ibra and Pogba the other day.

Isn't it illegal for pro footballers to bet on anything football related, worldwide?

Bookies won't stay in business long if they let professional footballers drop huge bets on transfers and their only reaction is just to gossip about it.

Maybe they're ex pro footballers? Either way, Zlatan to United looks highly likely at this point anyway so that's not hard to believe. But Pogba, I don't see it happening.

They have the same agent so who knows, there might be something there.

Probably but this has surely been the case for ages, it has never stopped them before.

Would love you to be right though - as long as we got him of course. I think Pogba is my number one muppet dream this summer. More than anything I really want an absolutely top class centre mid player in his prime.

I don't care that we let him leave for nothing, and that if we bought him back, we'd be massively out of pocket. We have the money. Jose likes the guy. We all know what he can do, and what he could become in time. We know what he could do for the team. Hell, the shirt sales have to count for something, too. Buy the guy.

Nobody else in world football has everything that he has, to the extent that he has it. The physicality, the passing, the flair, the confidence. He'll win you the ball back on the edge of your area, sprint down the pitch, hold off a defender, nutmeg him, then put it in the net. He's everything we wanted when we all wanted Arturo Vidal, but without the dodgy knee, the questionable attitude, and with more time on his side. If Juve want £80m for him, i'll gladly walk to Turin with it. We can give him the first team football that he always wanted, at the club he wanted it at, with a manager that does rate him.

If we managed to bag Pogba, Stones/Varane and Sane/Griezmann, as well as Ibrahimovic, that's one massive statement of intent. I believe we have the finances to do it. There's no reason we shouldn't have an immediate title challenge on our hands, or be winning the Europa League. I'm not saying we will do that, or that the opportunity is even guaranteed to be there, but just imagine...

I'm refusing to believe in any links between United and Pogba until he is holding our shirt. It's just too good to be true.

I'd presume it would also be illegal for paddy power to be divulging the privacy of their betting clients.
Nah happens all the time, especially with people in the call centre. I used to live near the Betfred call center, a few mates worked there and there was always accurate gossip on who was betting on who; mostly the gee gees though. Usually an account will get banned or limited to low stakes so they set up drop accounts or get mates to bet for them; either way there are ways to analyse betting traffic, accounts that bet the same way as other accounts, IP, MAC etc.

A very unlikely transfer imo. If he were on the move, all top clubs would be interested as well which would make it very difficult to get him

You say that, but it's not realistic.

Pogba has very few options in terms of moving up in profile, finances or both: Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, PSG, City, Chelsea and United.

Barcelona can't afford him; PSG is a step down when you have bigger clubs offering the same or more in wages; Bayern, who would never pay that much, nor do they particularly need him; Chelsea, who can only offer London over the remainder.

That only leaves Real, City and United on the table. He seems to have doubts about Madrid, and they may also have a summer ban. Then there's the question of whether they would pay what Juve and Raiola would want before the Euros kick off. If Pogba is one of the superstars of the Euros, which has every chance of happening, they would - just as they did with James off the back of the World Cup, but you can bet if ourselves and City are genuinely interested, we'll be looking to wrap it up before the Euros even kick off and pay the asking rate irrespective of what happens at the Euros. Pogba also stands to make more money going to either Manchester club because they're not in positions of strength and need this calibre of player badly meaning they can be bent over the negotiating table.

This 'all' basically boils down to 3 clubs. Unless he wants Madrid, we have as equal a chance as City to land him, I would think.

@Fortitude Why do you think he wouldn't choose PSG over us? They are in the CL, they do pay a lot of money and, as we saw with Di Maria, it would hardly be unusual for a player to prefer France over England. Especially given he is actually French.
