Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Santos Marquez(Eto'o and Makalele's agent) said in the past that Perez didn't like black players. It may be because he was bitter, but who knows, it could be true
IMO it's definitely true. They don't have any other black players on the current roster. No chance does he want a black man being their record signing IMO.

Marcelo? Previously, Drenthe, Lass, Adebayor.
Marcelo isn't an african - that's what I meant. Adebayor a short term loan, Lass got rid off, Drenthe not good enough got rid off. Perez isn't the chairman every time rememeber. Other players can be signed by Valeron.

I'd say it's due to the past history of Madrid wanting someone and getting them without trouble.

Guess they weren't paying attention this summer then. We've already beaten them for 1 player, De Gea.. All year we heard how he was definitely off to Madrid this summer.

This may just be done. The Real Madrid reports have no weight - I'm convinced.

Odd that you think he is spot on with that speculative post when he conveniently omits that :
- Pogba was totally over-run and looked clueless in the few matches he was handed game time (which were against rather poor opposition)
- That the Pogba that plays/played at Juve does not play in Scholes or Carricks position.
- That season we were in a tight title race that we ended up losing, Would you give a young player that previously showed he couldn't cope against poor opposition game time? (The drawback being totally crushing his confidence, because he'd have got abuse if he played like he did in his first games, and he'd have been hooked too).

But for some it is an agenda, whereas proof was in the pudding. The funny thing is that the Euro's proved he still can't play in central midfield.

Good post. Likely to fall on deaf ears. You know times are desperate when people buy into Donaldish's....oops...devilish's hate filled tin foil bollocks.

Seems like this summer things aren't going as smoothly as they'd like.
To be fair, if they wanted De Gea, they could have had him easily. He had his release clause and they chose not to activate it. If they had, i imagine he'd have been gone, but with Mourinho incoming, he could have rejected them anyway, who knows.
Normally if they want a player, they get them though - Ronaldo, Bale, Modric, Kroos, Benzema to name but a few. Real want, Real usually get. This summer it seems they can't match our spending power, but it doesn't stop us getting worried if they do get linked

Good job he'll slot in just nicely into Rooney's place isn't it? :)

Quick question. why are people so sure his preference is Madrid? Is it just because they are not United?

As far as i'm aware, he was pretty close to signing for Barcelona last year but the ban and figures involved stopped the move. Now a year later and he loves Madrid and would only join us cos of money?

Barring the kid that has grown up in Salford dreaming of playing for his beloved Reds, would anyone (all other things being roughly equal) choose United over Real or Barca? Better climate, better shopping, better quality of life generally, the opportunity to play with some of the very best players on earth in a good quality league.
I think we're realistically in the market for players that those two clubs either don't want, or are not prepared to financially compete for.
Plus, lets not forget that we're talking about a bloke who's already walked out on us once, which might lead us to infer something about his commitment to playing for United.

I don't think Perez is a racist or doesn't want to sign black players at all or will get rid of all of them but it wouldn't shock me if he doesn't see a black player as his perfect galactico signing. Pogba would be the perfect Perez signing with the fee and the hype around him plus Zidane, so maybe there is sone truth in it. At the end we are talking about a guy, who wants to pay a record for marketin reasons or who sacked a succesful manager, because his look doesn't suit the club. Also some rumours that he prefers good looking players and that could be the reason why he didn't want to give Di Maria a big pay rise. Maybe everything is bs, but you never know with Perez.

Think people are forgetting just how much bullshit Palmeri spouts as a whole. He might be an actual journalist, but I wouldn't pay attention to what he's saying.

This is a good post. I just hope in his return we play to his strengths rather than try to accommodate him into a system that doesn't bring out his best.

So why are you in here saying this every day? Just go to another thread if it pisses you off so much.

I don't post in here every day and whether I do or not doesn't alter the fact that all this re-hashing is completely pointless. I didn't say it pissed me off but going over the same stuff over and over again in any situation is going to be tedious. You're obviously getting some buzz out of it.

Like most people we are just waiting for confirmation that Pogba has signed and is definitely coming. Trying to achieve some futile post record for the sake of it is silly.

Close to 25000 posts! is this the biggest transfer thread ever? What's the record?

The Original Tancster is just getting his attention fix while he can. In just over a month nobody will give a shite what he says til Xmas.

When the deal is done he will give it 'Boom, told you it was a done deal and Madrid too late'

Can we lock this thread 1 post below the record? It seem's like half the people in here don't care if we sign Pogba, just if we beat the thread record ffs

Thanks for contributing!

To be fair, Tancredi does talk a lot of sh*t. He is a massive attention seeker too so take his Tweets with a big pinch of salt. He has got loads of transfer stuff wrong before.

Believe it or not but when it comes to United, Richard Keys has been bang on the money of late (Bein Sports)

http://www.juventuz.com/threads/34761-Paul-Pogba/page1621

Pretty much the last 5 pages of the juventuz forum have been Raiola bashing, you'd have thought making 100m profit on one player would have been enough to show a bit of appreciation...

That's something I can't understand.

Lets say that Mino arrived to OT today with a young Argentinian kid. This boy, is Barcelona's no 1 youth talent and he can set up a deal for us for 1m as long as we give 20% of any potential transfer to him. United agrees to such deal, the boy becomes the new Messi and we win 4 titles at a row. After 4 years he wants to leave and Barcelona are willing to spend 100m for him. Would we really be that pissed off for losing 20m to Mino?

We should be the ones pissed off at Mino (although we do share a part of the blame) and not them.

How much left till the record, forget the world record transfer, we want the Cafe world record transfer thread, Bayern better not swoop in at the last minute

 I'm loving this from Madrid, would have looked better on them if they just stayed quiet.

So if I now send out a Tweet saying Chelsea are lining up a sensational £140m swoop for Pogba, according to "sources", might I finally manage to get into double digits of followers?
Yeah if you change your name to ARMANDO BOCCOCHELLI !! Bet you'd get loads
