Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

They are just repeating AS story.
Would Pogba be happy with his agent who is holding up the deal because of his cut? Really annoying that players can't see the bs these agents feed them and actually end up their puppets.
When Pogba signed for Juventus, a clause stating a 20% cut to Raiola on a future transfer fee was agreed upon by Juventus, Pogba and Raiola. It's not like Raiola suddenly wants 20%.

Allegri said that next week will be key but I don't know if he meant that specifically for Pogba.

If this drags on we will have a transfer to talk about. This seems to be our 4th and final signing. If Pogba signs tomorrow that's more than a month of the window with no muppet targets to cry about. :(
Jose said after the fourth signing, he will take a breath, then relax and assess if there is any quality left in the market, so it doesn't mean there isn't anymore arrivals to be had.

This is a nothing article from Di Marzio.

We knew yesterday that the 47+47m higuain deal meant Juve could pay without selling. However it's common knowledge since the start of this saga that a Higuain deal would also see pogba leave. They aren't dependent on each other, but that was how this would work.

D Marzio literally says Pogba staying is an "Off chance". Nothing different to where we were 5 mins ago.

The bianconeri are negotiating with Manchester United and are asking for more: at the moment the 110 million euros plus 10 in bonuses offered by the red devils are not enough. Negotiations for the Frenchman are therefore not tied to those for Il Pipita and Juventus isn’t letting loose on either front: Pogba does not finance Higuain’s signing.

It’s a remote possibility that Pogba stays in Turin,

I.E There is no change in the status of the negotiations.

I'm confused as we've apparently agreed a fee with Juventus but now they are asking for more.
This is how it'll continue until he signs. We'll all hear that the only thing left to agree is the agent fee, then we'll hear that the agent fee has been agreed but the only thing left to agree is the fee to juventus, who you'll periodically hear are asking for more money, then tomorrow you'll hear an agreement is done, but there are just some fine details to sort out about the agent fee again. This will yo yo back and forth between agent fee and transfer fee til suddenly you'll see him decked out in United gear, signing a contract.

:)

I kinow Di Marzio is popular here but to me he comes off like Juve's mouthpiece during a lot of this tedious saga.

There is nothing new in that article at all. It's just positing that, because Juve are demanding more and there's the "off chance" it could break down, it's clearly not related to the Higuain purchase at all.

Most likely all just a leak from Juve to show their fans they are a) fighting for the best deal and not letting him go easy, and b) that they're sooooo rich they can buy Higuain anyway.

It makes sense though, because there has been no concrete figure released, so they could 'demand' more money and accept a bid of €120m saying that previously we were only offering €100m. That would make it look like they got a much better deal, when in reality they really just accepted what we first offered. If you're going to sell a fan favourite, then you have to look like you're getting the absolute best deal for them

I hope this doesn't drag out any longer. If it's not going to happen then we should walk away. As much as I would love to see pogba play for us, I don't want see us miss out on our plan B or C.

rehashing earlier reports.

Higuain deal is not dependent on Pogba leaving. Juve want more for pogba. Pogba remaining at Juve is an "off chance"
(Sarcastic tone) Sure..for a club who is €188m in debt that only made €2m net last year and was losing money season upon season before that. With a management structure that wants the club to be self-sufficient. The best thing to do is spuff another €94m on a transfer fee plus big wages and then break the wage structure to keep Pogba. Added that the new facilities that will cost €100m..sure why not just do that. This again is just saving face and feeding egos.

Raiola engineered Pogba rise to success which turned United 7th option into the most expensive cm in the world. Surely he deserves his cut

So the article says the €110m+€10m in bonuses isn't enough? Didn't we know that anyway as Juve want us to pay the agent fees which is another €20m? So in essence they want €140m from us?

If they're not accepting 110m feck em. He's good but he's not worth close to 150, whilst also wasting all this time when it's completely plausible that he could indeed stay at Juve. Just sign the other players Jose has identified and lets start getting ready for the season.

This saga is getting boring and frankly no-one knows shite as conflicting reports are coming out every day from everyone and their mum.

Raiola didn't do squat. It was Pogba's talent and his coaches who made him what he is today. It's like saying that you need to credit a beautiful house's construction to a real estate broker who acts as nothing but the middleman. Juve may actually owe Raiola for bringing Pogba to them but that is not enough for him to screw over a potential deal in which Pogba seemingly has his heart set on.

LOL this thread.

"this deal hasn't happened within my predetermined timeframe, why is Jose not moving on?":lol::wenger::wenger:

Verrati, Not far off behind Pogba's level. Doubt PSG will sell but it worth throw in 60-80m and see how they react.
If we need 100m+ to price away Pogba from Juventus, a club who's not the strongest financially imagine having to price away a better player from one of the richest clubs in the world like PSG. Probably not even 200m would be enough to sign Verratti.

I'm a big admirer of Pogba but Verratti is further ahead in his tactical development.

For me, it's pretty clear United decline started 3 years ago with sir Alex retirement and now the club needs to find its way back to the top.

I think its obvious to everybody that our decline started once Moyes arrived.

Oh well, if they like to think we are a small club since 5 years ...

I doubt that any Juve fan who is thinking with his brain, with all facts in front of him, will believe that.
Its just frustration, which is making them talk nonsense.
Its much like some MUFC fans in this thread who believe Juve are a "nothing" club. In most cases, they say this because they are not aware of just how big/successful they have been and currently are.

Some MUFC fans have also forgotten that we are a 4th/5th place club right now. This is a fact, not opinion and something that cannot be ignored.

What was the purpose of the Di Marzio update if it literally had nothing new in it.
