Talks about Raiola's demands and Image rights holding up the deal:
He knows less than just about anyone
Talks about Raiola's demands and Image rights holding up the deal:
Then he will struggle to adapt if Mourinho plays him in a deeper role in a midfield 2. When Juve had to play him there because of injuries he struggled a lot and looked very average every time. We would have wasted 100m+ He's just not that type of player. Not gonna happen though sadly. Our captain fantastic will play there...
Most people seem to be assuming that he will play at "8" with Rooney, our captain, at "10". If you are right then doesn't that still leave us needing another CM?Exactly. Pogba works best in a 3 man midfield being allowed a free role to do whatever he wants in the attacking third.
The 20 % agent's/pogba's cut was an agreement between Juve and the player when they signed him. Now for them to twist it and ask for us to pay it, I say we call their bluff and threaten to pull out. Then again most likely we won't.If this is true they are doing it as they really don't want to sell him, they also see that we are loaded and will pay though the nose.

If he's played as an 8 with someone reliable behind him so he can actually join the attack all the time, then yes he will be able to play well there. But if he's tactically restrained to stay deeper like he had to do with France, he will look extremely average. Pogba is a very attacking minded central midfielder and best traits are all attacking traits. Yes, the other parts of his game are above average but if you take away his attacking license, all that remains is above average. Most people seem to be assuming that he will play at "8" with Rooney, our captain, at "10". That would leave no place for Rooney, who Mourinho recently confirmed will be a vital player for him. I think leaving 6 vacant coupled with this means Pogba will be a box to box midfielder for us..
Surely that would risk invited Madrid right back in to the saga. The 20 % agent's/pogba's cut was an agreement between Juve and the player when they signed him. Now for them to twist it and ask for us to pay it, I say we call their bluff and threaten to pull out. Then again most likely we won't.
At least it'll put an end to me refreshing this thread every half an hour and in between my sleep for the past 2- 3 weeks. No point in pulling out when the pre-cum is already seeping out. He'll be ours soon enough
I hope it's true but I question how AS would know this before any of the Italian journalists.

We could announce a deal has been reach subject to medical. Nowt wrong with that.Just as I expected.
Why would we announce a deal when we are in China?
We want him to come do a medical, have the photos at the training ground with the new shirt, and made a big song and dance of it like they did with mata x10.
More importantly though we are waiting on juve announcing higuain first. They need to appease their fans before upsetting them.
If they were willing to pay that kind of sum in the first place, surely Pogba would be a Madrid player by now.Surely that would risk invited Madrid right back in to the saga.
Forget Madrid. It seems pretty obvious they haven't got the money to do a deal like this without off loading some of their unwanted players for ridiculous sums. And no club seems keen to 'help' them out in that regard.Surely that would risk invited Madrid right back in to the saga.

But the Madrigando papers were also saying Madrid didn't want to pay such agent fees just a few week agos.Surely that would risk invited Madrid right back in to the saga.
Sure we could, but like I said we are waiting for juve.We could announce a deal has been reach subject to medical. Nowt wrong with that.
I don't think we have. AS aren't to be trusted.Have we made actual progress the past few days on this because Fabrizio says we still need to sort out Raiola's fees.
They are just recirculating their last update because they don't have any new news, because the amount of clicks it generating and requests for updates from United fans. It's probably all done and has been for a while and now it's just about how it announced by Juve and Man Utd for the best pr outcome.Have we made actual progress the past few days on this because Fabrizio says we still need to sort out Raiola's fees.
But would they be trusted if they said Real was close to signing him?I don't think we have. AS aren't to be trusted.
The next progress is him signing for us. There's this big hurdle called Raiola's 20% cut. Give in or reach a compromise with Juventus about this cut and agree a deal or go for another player. Financial package with Pogba seems to be agreed, same with the transfer fee. Just that 20% is holding the deal.Have we made actual progress the past few days on this because Fabrizio says we still need to sort out Raiola's fees.
Who are you trying to kid?I hope we get the deal done this week. My muppet inside me is slowly dying
If this drags on we will have a transfer to talk about. This seems to be our 4th and final signing. If Pogba signs tomorrow that's more than a month of the window with no muppet targets to cry about.I hope we get the deal done this week. My muppet inside me is slowly dying
No. They are an awful source. But would they be trusted if they said Real was close to signing him?
Would Pogba be happy with his agent who is holding up the deal because of his cut? Really annoying that players can't see the bs these agents feed them and actually end up their puppets. The next progress is him signing for us. There's this big hurdle called Raiola's 20% cut. Knowing how Juventus act, it will most likely be a choice of us paying the 20% or not signing Pogba. 20% of 120-125m euros transfer fee is 25m which is not a joke.
