From us? I don't think so. There will be something big from Di Marzio or someone else, I'm certain. But the actual medical and all of that stuff may be later in the week when Ed and Jose are back (before flying out to Sweden). We'll let Juve announce Higuain first.

on topic, I think he is as good as ours now. Pending for Juve to sort things out for Higuain. Probably sometime in next week.
 
Would make more sense IMO if Juventus announced Higuain after Pogba's departure.

So we might see an announcement soon.
 
I think there will be too much admin to complete to have a full announcement on Monday but I expect the briefings to journalists to start tonight with a "United reach deal with Juventus. Contract arrangements being agreed" sort of headline.

Looking at recent transfers we have done this to make it look like we have not already spoken to target/agreed a deal before clubs have reached agreement.

We then have 2 days of photoshoots etc happening to make the big announcement across the world.

So my prediction.Informal announcement tonight. Thread locked on Tuesday when Juventus jump the gun and announce it before we agreed.

No way we can hold out that long. Before then there will be more false reports of Madrid swooping in, causing multiple muicides (muppet suicides, I'm claiming that one). They should stop dwindling their fan population and announce now.

If this is true they are doing it as they really don't want to sell him,they also see that we are loaded and will pay though the nose.

I'm expecting something like that to be our best team with possibly Darmian at RB and Carrick in place of Schniderlin depending on form or preference. Pogba will play a box to box role but with plenty of licence to get up and support the front 4 while the other CM will sit deeper and cover the defence. If Rooney continues his run of poor from last season then Pogba will probably move higher up with Herrera moving in behind him. Ultimately, Pogba provides us with some brilliant options in CM and CAM that we have lacked for a long time and I'm very excited about the different permantations of Mourinhos system.

Another theory:
Maybe Woody and the Juve people are just waiting for the record to be broken....
As soon as we reach the number, they will announce Pogba.
 
Get in! Hope we play him as 10 though with Morgan and maybe Carrick/Schweini or a new deep-lying playmaker behind, looks like the most balanced midfield for me and similiar to how Juve got the best out of him with Marchisio and Vidal/Khedira.

That would leave no place for Rooney, who Mourinho recently confirmed will be a vital player for him. I think leaving 6 vacant coupled with this means Pogba will be a box to box midfielder for us..
 
Exactly. Pogba works best in a 3 man midfield being allowed a free role to do whatever he wants in the attacking third.
