Hope that Mourinho can see that extra special something that I haven't been able to see watching Pogba over the last 4 years. Don't get me wrong, I'd like him to play for us, he's a huge talent and all o' that, but €125m (c. £110m thanks BREXIT!) is a shed load of money, the kind of mind-boggling sums that should be reserved for the most exceptional players that come around once or twice every 10 years or so. I don't buy into this values are rising so much at
that end of the market even given distorted PL budgets. Over one-hundred million is "god-like" level (ignore buy-out valuations they're not true reflections of a players worth, just hands-off price-tags). Do I think Pogba is there yet? No, but, and here's the BIG but,
maybe Mourinho is the right man to push him over the line and turn him into "that player"

.
Additionally to the price-tag, I have a small worry that he's quite a precocious individual and we certainly don't need to shell out all that for a "Ballotelli"
type player who will be grabbing the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Before anyone jumps on that last comment I'm not
saying he's as bad as Ballotelli was/is but using him as an example of a disruptive influence who could have been one of the biggest talents in the Premier League … look how that worked out! Again, keeping his feet on the ground is what Mourinho's banking the big bucks for so that will be interesting to watch.
I sincerely hope I'm proved wrong and will back him all the way if we go ahead and sign him. I just can't get rid of this nasty feeling that this could blow up in our faces quite badly and that's worrying given the price-tag!
