Does anyone know when Pogba gets back to Turin? Because as soon as he gets back to Turin then the faster this transfer can happen.

Its been like this from Mourinho to Pogba now. I have one source and he has been spot on. I chose to believe him and pass along what he says to me. If that gets me banned, thats quite sad tbf :annoyed: I do like this forum, but should probably never have shared anything

You wouldn't get banned as the friendly ribbings would be too good to miss out on I would imagine. I'd probably turn off email alerts for when someone tags you if Pogba doesn't happen though.

Between all the ITK posts, the people asking the ITK for updates, and the people debating whether or not the ITK is actually legitimate.

Sure would be nice to read a few posts about the potential Pogba deal, or is this the wrong thread for that sort of stuff?

Actually if i remember Pogba gave an interview with Evra stating that they would be back in a week to Turin. I'm sure i saw it in an interview during the euros. That's when this transfer will pick up.

Just checked btw...

4th to Vidal '14 (25k), Berbatov '08 (19k) and Sneijder '11 (13k).

Should easily make the top 3... chance of a record if he drags it out into August!

Gonna have to settle for third. We'll wrap this up by next Friday.

 Damn this could go on for long.

At the very minimum you would then have to add on a week because he isn't going to just rock up at Juve and say he is leaving after everything they have done for him and vice versa, there will at least be talks after he gets back from holiday, I would realistically say if anything is going to happen it will be in around three weeks to a month.

All of the business is done between Pogba's agent and the clubs though surely?

Pogba can be anywhere in the world as long as he's got a phone with him.

Are Juve going on any pre-season tours? I remember when the Vidal saga was going on, him getting on the plane to go on tour was seen as a turning point. Until he got rested or something for the 1st game!

I saw the same thing and I think they said an extra week away from vinovo (not sure on spelling but region of turin) meaning because they qualified for the final they would have another week at the tournament and another week off, I am sure players are obliged to have a certain amount of time off, they can't avoid it.

But Pogba will want to meet face to face with the Juventus board to discuss his move im assuming.

This saga is getting tedious and drawn out. We need to be careful to avoid putting all our eggs in basket, we've already missed out on several very good midfielders due to this pursuit of Pogba, Kante etc. are probably moving soon too, which would leave us with not many options.

I suggested a few pages back that Acquire Me should have his own thread if people really want to believe his shtick. Let him and his followers have their fun away from real journalistic sources and discussion. To me, it's a load of nonsense, but if it passes the time for some people, have at it in another thread. My $0.02

Agreed, but working out who the real journalistic sources is too difficult so it becomes a question of where do you draw the line.

Stop giving acquire me abuse. He is only trying to help ye mindless muppets. Don't bite the hand that feeds ya.

I will never share anything else if this transfer should go to hell, thats for sure. This is not me backtracking, I stick to the info I got and believe its genuine as the info who came before.

Someone has asked why Adidas get this info, because I can see that it sounds strange. It really isn't that strange. Adidas has invested a lot in us and also some players. Even though they are happy with sales, United has been a disappointment in many regards. The guy I know has told me that Adidas are very much in the loop of whats going on. If its more now than before, I dont know. Imo, its agreed between the two parties that they keep each other in the loop. Thats purely guesswork from me and nothing I know for sure.

If this is solid information and he does want to come, he is ours/already is ours. Possibly staggering the news leaks before an official announcement in the coming week?

Until there's actual proof that Acquire Me is lying, isn't best to go along with the old saying "innocent until proven guilty"? It's a bit unfair to gang up on him and call him a bullshitter when no one has any idea what he knows.

It's equally unfair on the rest of us who have to read his "Hope you guys are ready for some big news " shtick and have his followers pipe up with "What have you heard? Hope you have good news for us mate!"and this happens every other day it seems. The fact is that the burden of proof is on Acquire Me, and it always has been that way on this forum. He can easily PM a mod and explain himself if he wishes.

Yea, reading 'cocks out lads ' or constant, repeated ad infinitum questions 'did he sign yet? has anything changed' on the other hand is a fantastic part of this thread.

Nevermind the part of the thread when Glaston decided to jump in and take a huge shit that took about 6-7 pages.

Its so obvious the Pogba deal is done. Juve are spending all of the Pogba money before the deal is announced. It will soften the blow and allow them to negotiate reasonable deals without teams pushing up the price knowing they have funds to spend. I'd expect the deal to be announced within the next week or two when Pogba returns from holiday. A lot of people must be scarred from past muppet sagas because this is as obvious as it gets. All of the most reputable journos have chimed in and a few have said we have agreed to terms. Instincts people. Done dealio.

Edit: Not to mention the Madrid fiasco. They have been covering their tracks all over the place and using their connections in the media to make it seem like they didn't want him. Imo we outbid them and he also chose us. Perez couldn't take the rejection. Very similar to their response to the De Gea ordeal, only this time they did everything behind the curtains.
Your not that old woman from "Murder she wrote" in disguise are you ?, that was a great monologue :wenger:

He's already got one.

Not sure whether you agree or disagree with me tbh. I wouldn't have any of that shit in here. Keep a separate thread for BS and "funny" nonsense. Keep this thread for updates and some discussion. It's not a matter of life or death, just a bit irritating sifting through 10 pages every day to find the 1-2 decent posts.

I agree with you on that part that this thread is a right mess but I find it tedious to blame AM for it, for what it's worth.

I guess that you will have your update once the deal indeed is finalised and we can change the title or create a new thread for Pogba's performances. Until then, it's pretty much everybody in the dark.

Thanks. I think you're missing the point but enjoy the rest of the thread

Juve are being linked with a deal for Higuain, which sounds promising for us getting Pogba.

Guys this is how I see it from the perspective of the different players:

United. Want their man and are willing to pay for him. Their role is quite straightforward

Pogba. Wants the move for (probably) financial reasons over anything else. However, he doesn't want to look like he's forcing the move, as this would affect any loyalty bonus, tarnish his legacy at the club and damage his relationship with the fans. Hell, there might even be a bit of loyalty to Juve in there to.

Juve. Grudgingly want the move, as they won't get a better deal for Pogba, they know he'll move at some point, and the money is too good to turn down. They do not however want to be seen as a "selling" club, especially after Coman and Vidal went to Bayern. It makes sense for them to portray to the football world and in particular their fans that Pogba is forcing the issue and their hands are tied.

Raiola. Wants whatever is best for his client (ergo himself) which is this case is the move. He'll publicly sit on the fence though for obvious reasons (keep everyone happy).

It's all a bit cat and mouse to me and that's why I think this will drag on. I think we'll get him in the end, but Juve are tough negotiators in the transfer market and they will not accept someone waltzing in and making off with their prized asset without putting up a fight.

I remember reading they were in debt and the club could be bought for 300m? Anyone confirm. Just buy their club ffs, we get Dybala and Pogba.
