I think you are right, it's like a mirror of the Bale transfer where the selling team get a load of players in before the transfer is officially done/announced. That way other clubs can't be certain that they have a lot more money to play with and therefore the transfer fees are a lot smaller compared to if they bought these players AFTER the big money sale.
If selling clubs know that Juve have another £100m to play with, that of course is going to drive transfer prices up.
This feels done. I think the lack of fresh news/silence is deafening. They have most likely agreed a date on which this will be announced officially as a done deal.

Can someone please tell me how Acquire Me is ITK? I've asked like 3 times now and no one's still managed to inform me. I understand he found out about Mourinho from that meeting he was in, but I can't see why he would be up to date with the Pogba news. In fact, his original post about Mourinho started with "I'm not trying to be ITK or anything" or something along those lines.
In terms of Pogba, if Juve were to spend over 80m euros on Higuain, they're surely going to sell Pogba. Even with the potential sales of Pereyra and Zaza and the sale of Morata, they surely wouldn't balance the books considering the players they've bought already and the contract extensions of their current players.
Acquire Me doesn't know a thing.
Thats a laughable deal for Higuain. He's good in Serie A but he's not going to propel them to CL favourites or anything. That's what they need next.

Logically, Pogba to MUFC is the right deal for everybody involved, but if Pogba himself does not want to move, then the deal is off.
I will be shocked if De Laurentiis willingly sells Higuain to Juve. Without a city derby, Juve is perhaps their biggest rival (something De Laurentiis himself has stressed in the past) and the Napoli ultras will burn the stadium down if he sells Higuain to Turin.
If Higuain kicks up a big enough fuss then Napoli might be swayed by the big money.

But you dont know the reality of the situation. You would if you had my job. You see, some of the assholes I work with from time to time, they know a lot of things before others, because they are in sales and marketing. Its a lot of work before a product is released.
