The Caf's Ezza.
Cannot see us getting him if Madrid get involved, unless we blow them out the water and he wants to come back.
If we are really going to go down this stupid path, like Sergio Ramos last year, I hope that this time we at least have a Plan B. With Ramos, we went balls in and ended up playing Blind at CB
Ronaldo is Ronaldo - the superstar of the team. He and Messi break the rules for their clubs and they constantly have to bend over backwards for them, which is understandable.Ronaldo makes 288k after tax according to leaks lol. They can break the bank for the right player. Plus the money isn't going to be significant enough to counter the level of the team. they are streaks ahead of us and he will be filthy rich either way. Surely we would've offered Bale Rooney-esque wages, more image rights and he could "increase his brand," yet in the end.......it means nothing
Have they said his recently?"Sky Sports News HQ understands Manchester United didn't include a sell-on clause when Pogba left the club. United also understood not to have buy-back option"
This "journalism" lark is a piece of piss!
It is on the rolling news section (not the breaking news thing) of their TV coverage as we speak.Have they said his recently?
Maybe it's due to rise of twitter, but SSN have fallen so much in terms of credibility. They come out with all sorts of shite these days.
He wants his holiday and the Euros out of the way before he announces he'll be Madrids next galactic. I think this thread needs locking before caftards star getting locked up. Chasing Pogba this summer will be like bondage sex without the pleasure.
I hope you sign the cnut and then bring Scholes out of retirement the next day.
Don't you stop the dream. It's not a transfer window if we're not spending 90 mil on a superstar. He wants his holiday and the Euros out of the way before he announces he'll be Madrids next galactic. I can't, as much I'd like too. How many others are watching sky sports news in a gimp suit with an inflatable Pogba on their lap? I'm in this for the long run.....Don't you stop the dream. It's not a transfer window if we're not spending 90 mil on a superstar.
So you're saying there's a chance? After all is said and done. If players get the choice between Real and United for similar ridiculous amounts of money, they're going to choose Real 99 times out of a 100.
calm down, Pogbas's last season with us was hardly convincing, he was out of form, despite that Fergie included him in some of the matchday squads, yes he could do better with that game against blackburn but Pogba's ego meant that he thought he should be played no matter how out of form he was.. retrospectively we regret it big time but at the time it wasn't a big deal.. All what was needed was a bit of patience from Pogba, he would eventually got his chance..Andre Gomes is not the answer, but Pogba is. If he goes to Madrid and we only sign Gomes/Matic, i personally would view that as a transfer failure. I've no doubt we are in for Pogba, as he's exactly what our MF requires. It's just whether we can convince him to comeback with no CL. Feck Fergie, honestly. Between anointing Moyes and losing Pogba because of a JOS, Rafael combo against Blackburn, it's his fault we are in the mess we are in. Anyone who watched Pogba in the youth teams could see the kid was destined for the absolute top. Madness he was treated the way he was. Now we have to watch that classless club RM scoop him up. Because, we all know once they come knocking, that's it, game over. Only thing i can think of it that maybe Pogba prefers Barca, and might wait around at Juve for them till 17/18 season.
Well thats that then. He said "every team would like Paul Pogba." They don't really need any other players to be honest except maybe an upgrade on Benzema (it's not essential). Chances are he is Madrid boundRonaldo is Ronaldo - the superstar of the team. Image rights on top of wages that are likely to be higher in the first place, must surely add up to a lot more. Pogba has a long way to go to make demands of a Real Madrid like Ronaldo can or re-negotiate his image rights with them. Rich is relative, too, as sure, he'll be rich wherever he goes, but if his sole focus is money, there's smarter choices for him to make than Madrid before he's a genuine superstar - PSG, Chelsea, ourselves and City would all make him more over the next 3yrs, imo.
Like I said before, I didn't disagree with your overall point, just the money issue. The allure of Madrid is about a lot more than cash, plus Zidane, who I believe is his idol, is making direct overtures, to him, apparently. That's a lot of sway.
Guys forget about it. Once the Real Madrid snowball starts rolling in the media there is no stop to it, they always get their man.
Guys, please...
I'm a Juve fan and I have massive respect for Man Utd, but Pogba is not going anywhere, the club doesn't want to sell him.
Every summer we hear the same story: Pogba to United, Real, Barcelona, Chelsea but then he always stays... papers need to sell, don't believe in everything they say!
We want to compete for UCL now (I think the imminent signing of Dani Alves and our interest in Mascherano are clear signs that we want to do it in short terms) and it's obvious that for doing this we need to keep Paul.

We will never know. The chance was there as we had limited CM options in Ando, Clev, Fletcher with and illness. So limited that a retired 37 year old was called from retirement so we are talking feck all options and he still played f all minutes that season. Ferguson quoted in 2011 that if we don't give Pogba his chance soon, he'll not sign a new contract and move on which is exactly what happened. Pogba had also mentioned he'd been banging on the door (literally) for months saying give me a chance and it didn't come. If it doesn't come in those circumstances then you are left with a frustrated, highly talented youngster, with the world at his feet, and massive self belief, who doesn't have to stay put as he has options.calm down, Pogbas's last season with us was hardly convincing, he was out of form, despite that Fergie included him in some of the matchday squads, yes he could do better with that game against blackburn but Pogba's ego meant that he thought he should be played no matter how out of form he was.. retrospectively we regret it big time but at the time it wasn't a big deal.. I dont think Mourinho or SAF would see this signing as any king of "feck you" but if it was I cant see what would be great about it. The two have a mutual respect and hopefully that will continue, if Mourinho starts antagonising people like SAF he is sowing the seeds for his own demise, just like he has fallen out with powerful figures at other clubs. Hopefully he has learned from that.
Andre Gomes is not the answer, but Pogba is.
When Pogba moves here, he will bring out the full compliment of excuses and blame the player/ agent/ United for forcing the transfer. Isn't this the guy who sat down in a much publicised and photographed meeting with the Barcelona head of transfers to discuss a Pogba deal last summer? Doesn't really follow that he would rule out a transfer completely this summer.
I didn't think my post was dramatic and i am perfectly calm thanks It was a big deal at the time. I remember it very well. Nobody could quiet figure out what Fergie was playing at. Pogba said in the interview that Fergie himself called around to his house to try and change his mind, as he knew he had made a monumental feck up. He then tried to portion the blame to Pogba's agent. That's typical Fergie PR hype. He's a legend but by no means a saint. Don't blame Pogba here and say he should have been patient. He was treated badly and felt he would progress quicker elsewhere. He made the right decision didn't he?calm down, Pogbas's last season with us was hardly convincing, he was out of form, despite that Fergie included him in some of the matchday squads, yes he could do better with that game against blackburn but Pogba's ego meant that he thought he should be played no matter how out of form he was.. retrospectively we regret it big time but at the time it wasn't a big deal..
