Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

£100 million + is a lot of money for him but he is young, already a world class player, and has a very high ceiling. We could be talking Ballon D'or contender in a few years. As long as his heart is in it and he appreciates playing for us, then it's worth paying well over the odds.

Extra - It also sends out a massive statement that we are still a huge club. I'm feeling really positive about next season. I think there will be a few suprise transfers late in the window as well.

Seriously remember how shit Messi used to be for Argentina?, and thats freaking Messi.
Youtube isn't the best way to view a player but any of you worried about him after this game, go Youtube some Juve vids of Pogba.

Cafe poster in the Sissoko thread already saying Sissoko > Pogba :lol:

now do you lot see what I've been saying?

Pogba can't play deep. If we buy him, he have to be played in a three-man midfield, which means no Rooney. Otherwise, this is what you will see.

Side-ways passing, and moving the ball arond. Basically, a 100m Busquets without any of the defensive genius.

I agree if we Buy Pogba he should be the most advanced midfielder. Which means Rooney either deeper or not on the pitch.

If we are buying him to play behind Rooney, we are the biggest idiots in football.

feck me, the definition of world class has changed quite a bit.

When you see him closer to the goal you will see his magic, unfortunately he hasn't had that opportunity.

Mourinho pretty much confirmed that Rooney won't play deep, so it'll be interesting to see how he fits them both into the same team. Though I trust Mourinho to have a proper plan, whereas if LVG had signed him, I wouldn't have that faith.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but Pogba is playing deep. Just felt like I needed to mention that

£100m should get you a Messi/Ronaldo bracket player in my eyes but maybe I'm just living in the past.

It's stupid but it's how football has gone now.

I mean when the likes of sterling go for £50 million and benteke for £30 million you know it's fecked up

I would define world class as a player who is playing at a consistently high level in domestic, european, and international matches. A player who would walk into any first eleven in the world. So yeah... Pogba imo is world class.

And performing at high level in different tactical role.

Pogba's been whining the entire 2nd half.. Needs to control his frustrations better

Yes he needs to be silent and conservative like every other great player.

No, he doesn't need to be a bitch pointing fingers at his teammates and instead try to do his fecking job.. Everytime things weren't going their way he was jumping around and screaming at teammates, needs to calm the feck down and focus on the game.. Not the kind of game that needs players turning on each, it's not going to motivate anyone

He played no6, not no8 today. Far too deep and isn't effective for him. France is like Arsenal. They had a chance to win it even got a handicap by Ronaldo but they bottled it.

Deschamps has been stupid to not substitute Sissoko and put Martial in, Portugal was playing defensive without Ronaldo anyway. Now let's get Paul and make sure he wins titles with United.

Part of why SAF wouldn't play him at such a young age was because he was overly emotional on the pitch

Might prove a costly assessment!

So we sticked to the overly shit instead. Smart

He's been so underwhelming. If we're looking to play him as deep as France then he's en route to be the biggest flop in history when transfer fees are taken into account.

Probably not the best time for a reporter to ask him about his future tonight!

Misused in my opinion by a very average manager.

Pogba is Massively over valued that much is obvious. But if you're Juventus, why would you let your best player go for say 40/50 mil when you know you can drive the price up? They won't like selling him for 100 if he eventually leaves but they'll at least have plenty of cash to rebuild.

IMO United are being played massively by RM and Juve to wildly - and do mean wildly - overpay for Pogba.

They know that Mourinho likes to spend big, they know that United are desperate to show that they have "big clout" and can get one over RM, and they know that United are desperate to get back into the top 4 this season - not least because of the sponsorship money loss involved if they don't.

I don't think that RM, in reality, would be even remotely willing to pay £100m for Pogba, but they've pretended it's a competition with United .. and of course Juve are more than happy to play along.

You don't get it.

He's the player the manager wants. He's the MARKETABLE player the ownership group wants. He's content playing where hes' at and his DREAM club plays in Spain.

Who cares what his actual value is on the pitch. Who cares if it would only cost 50 million for him go to Madrid or Barca?

There is definitely a Manchester United tax that has to be paid for top quality talent to come here.
