Clown. Used to be a fan but that is very unprofessional and he hasn't a clue about what is going on.
It says a lot about Ballbag that maybe hes learned that Madrid will not be pursing the transfer of Pogba and we are the only viable team. Yes we might be paying more than we should but its the way the market is and for Pogbas potential and there isn't anyone else available we could get that could potentially make a difference.
Just made a similar point in his thread in the football forum. The dude's being so hypocritical, it's laughable.
Also if Fjortoft is to be believed about Mendes now being involved in the transfer maybe Ballbag knows how advanced things are and its possible this transfer is gonna go through.
Yup. This might, of course, still not happen - but I'm so stoked that the club is now willing to just say "feck it" and cough up what is needed to compete with the elite. It's been a long bloody time coming.
I work in the Media and used to work with a lad who also wrote for AS in Spain. Balague was effectively his boss at AS .
This lad told me that the Real Madrid press officer also writes for AS, and there are major links between the club and the paper.
Balague might not have spoken to RM about this but he will know exactly what's going on.

I've no doubt Balague is very clued up on any transfer involving a Spanish team. He's obviously taking a bit of stick from United fans on Twitter and is reacting, but i still listen to what he has to say. To be honest, he seems to be the most convinced person that Pogba is coming here if you ignore the digs and read what he's actually saying.

I am not ITK but I have been following the Serie A for a long long time. So here is my 2c
Juventus are the most ruthless team I've ever seen. To put things into perspective. Can you imagine Manchester United selling Eric Cantona to Liverpool during the summer of 96 because we had young Paul Scholes? Juventus had done that with Roberto Baggio. Can you imagine Manchester United selling Gaz and Irwin the summer after the treble to Bologna and Atalanta for the simple reason that there are better options then the former and younger options for the latter? Juventus had done that with Ravanelli and Vialli. Can you imagine United signing an old Gerrard after even Liverpool weren't ready to offer him a 2 year deal because they felt that he's too old? Juventus done that with former Inter and AC Milan star Andrea Pirlo. Juventus see players as goods. They don't need to sell because they are rich enough (they are not United rich but they are a dominant force, they got a good support base and their own stadium) but they do believe that every player has a price tag. You can't really blame them. The Agnellis barely finance them anymore + their scouts and coaching staff are top notch. If there's a decent talent whose not signed by the Milanese teams then most of the time he will end up at Juventus. Once he ends up there then rest assured that he will find the right combination of experience, trust and discipline to become a star.
Therefore I believe that if United can meet Juventus valutation and Real fail in that then Pogba will be coming to United. No player dare digging his heels with Juventus. Del Piero tried to use sentimentality to get 1 year contract but he was shown the door and he never came back.

I am not surprised. Juventus is a different type of club to most. Mino would have probably asked Pogba's price and they gave it to him and that is all. If Juventus rate Pogba 100m then anything below that will be refused and anything above that sum will see Juventus owners dragging Pogba from his hair right to OT if needs be.
All we need is to convince the player and make sure we meet Juventus valutation

We will. When he had inside info on Di Maria he loved it. After the transfer he was subject to a Q&A article on Sky IIRC where he was basking in his status at that moment as the journalist with the best connections. He loves himself above all.
Think the only ones on a similar level to Pogba from that list are Gundogan and Pjanic.
Both are fantastic players; however, Gundogan is somewhat injury prone, and Pjanic, despite being a very talented player, hasnt got the physical attributes that Jose looks for in a player.

I want to say something and I'm not an itk. But my cousin hangs around with Robbie brady and after the game at the euros between France and Ireland pogba told Brady that the deal was done and that he was heading to united for 120 million. This was before any paper broke that 120 million quoted price also Brady said that Leicester and west ham where attempting to sign him as well.
Brady sorry just felt I had to add that in.

Yeah. There's a lot of people claiming stuff now. When one or two comes out with a something, you think "ah interesting". The more people pipe up, the more you don't believe it.
