Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Interesting, so Pogba has to submit a transfer request. Which according to Di Marzio he is not eager to do so.

Massimiliano Nerozzi said:
Nerozzi says Pogba has told team-mates out in Clarefontaine he wants to join Man United and that there were two important points which had to be resolved if Juventus were to agree. Firstly, that Pogba had to hand in a transfer request and secondly United would need to pay over €100m.

The idea of having Pogba hand in a transfer request is an interesting one. It may well be linked to a loyalty bonus which would be lost when such a request is handed in but more importantly if it happened it would put the onus on Pogba for forcing a move, rather than Juventus cashing in.

Now, it should be noted this is almost precisely what L’Equipe have reported and there is every chance Nerozzi is simply re-publishing their story and bringing it to the Italian press but it’s certainly escalating, simply for the fact it’s being brought to their attention in Italy. It can’t be ignored at this stage.

Martial, Pogba, Rashford... Potentially TFM, Januzaj, Pereira and Memphis too. Good Lord, that is a quite literally drool worthy collection of young players at the club
You missed Shaw. But its ok, we have too many to instantly remember.

What has Acquire me said? And when you say he's been spot on, are you referring only to Mourinho to United or others calls?
Talks are real, it's progressing, and he's been spot on on Mourinho, Zlatan and Henrikh, even though no one was sending them to us "officially".

Many scene of italian ultras with the similar flag. Any connection?

I don't care if we pay over the odds - the fact that we nick one of Juventus best players is good enough for me. Cheating bastards!

I'm all for Pog and think hes worth every penny of the 100m. However you're argument is flawed, for every success there are a number of failures so it's always a risk. Look at Sterling., looks like a spectacular waste of money now.

I said - any player who is a success is worth the money regardless of what they paid for him. So basically money isn't a big object - getting the right player is.

Honestly no idea, I guess in the states it's often connected with being on the far-right and Italians are pretty notorious for that (Lazio in particular) so maybe that?

He's earning life changing amounts for years now!

In comparison to the average person, he is. Compared to the top sports stars in the world, he isn't.

There's rich - in comparison to me and you. Then there's £100 million rich. It's a whole different level.

Never mind the fact that a lot of it is ego as well. Top players want top money - even if they might not need it.

I don't doubt that the talks are real. But whether there is a good likelihood that we'l get Pogba or not remains to be seen. We also had talks for Neymar and they were dished as soon as they begun.

What makes you think we'll sell him for less? he is nothing like di maria and I think he'll be a huge star in the PL. When Madrid come for him in the future, we'll take a player plus cash.

It's what we do

Some proper meltdowns on Juventuz over something that likely is not even happening

'Mancunians are the rednecks of Europe. What do those hicks have over Juventus? One CL title more, more money and more plastic fans. Juve is superior in every other aspect. More domestic trophies, more international trophies, more Ballon Dor winners, more World Cup winners, a more passionate set of fans, a team that plays like a family, the list goes on'

He's right. How could we hope to match the deafening roar of the colosseum that is Juventus Stadium, the draw of pulling on the famous black and white of The Old Lady or a trophy room littered with scudettos?

They're a truly gargantuan club and it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone that Pogba wants to stay.

After all, the notion of swapping the sweet streets of Turin for the evanescent experience of playing for a prehistoric club like Manchester United borders on lunacy. Our riches mean nothing to an individual as upstanding as young Paul and he will continue the gallant fight to bring Juventus to the summit of European football once again. Or something.

Muppets would start to get edgier, tension would start to flare between the muppets, infighting and arguments would take place as this thread would head towards 500 pages.
So, many twists and turns in this saga.

How many pages do you guys reckon this thread would go, before the transfer reaches it's eventual conclusion one way or another?

To add further excitement and suspicion, I have it on good authority from my supervisor at NUFC (30 years at the club/knows everybody) that Pogba is Man Utd bound. Reliable source and a standup guy.

So the Brady story and a whole host of others, proves what remains of the deal are the contractual formalities.

Ballbag is just playing on our insecurities, he knows this is a done deal. Yes it's happened in the past where a player will make a "gentlemens agreement" and then does the complete opposite but personally I have no fears on this one.

The West Ham and Leicester involvement wouldn't surprise me. I'll ask some of my hammer friends who have a credible channel on YouTube. They would know for sure. Any other questions you would like answered from that lot, serous ones of course?

I work on match days at NUFC and during the week at various locations - high end jewellery establishments has a security officer. I get a good volume of stories - they (celebs) blab to the sales team who in turn blab or sometimes blag to us!

Not into popularity contests, so no agenda on my side. Just sharing what I've heard, so be nice otherwise I'll twist all your wrists off!

Peace!

I love it when fans claim to have more passionate fans. Like, how could anyone ever know that? Opinion polls? Blood pressure monitoring during games? Amount of scarves sold? Absolute lunacy.

It's like the Scousers claiming to have the most knowledgeable fans, like they've been bossing football IQ tests the world over.

Football fans arguing is like two women having a dick swinging contest. Nobody wins and everyone involved looks like a twat.

Forum members, how do you keep up with this thread? Its moving freaking fast!!!

What's all this Robbie Brady business? I'm lost..
One poster heard that Robbie Brady was talking to Pogba after the match Ireland VS France and Pogba told Brady that it was a done deal to United for 120m, and its a secret shhhhhh

The Juventuz banter was pretty fun when it was all jibes and made-up quotes/tweets to troll us. Not so fun now they seem genuinely angry. It's all gone a bit Bluemoon with the whole "fagcafe".

Lighten up. It's just a game, lads.

We have turned into a economic beast. They are all bricking it!

Of course they are getting emotional, we make them feel inadequate and we've achieved that by winning only the F.A Cup!

I'm quite positive that all our rivals thought we would go the way of Liverpool. I'm going to enjoy the next few years with Ed throwing his hammer like wallet around and pointing to the trophies and the players on board.

"Yeah... Just sign the fecking papers. Look around you!"

We were big before but I believe this time round we are surpassing all.

this is why newbs shouldn't be allowed to post in the transfer forum
