An important note on Balague is that he has lived in Liverpool for quite a few years and is Pep Guardiolas number one boot licker so is ever more inclined to hate us

Not true, its just that the BBC don't use idiots on Twitter as their 'sources'. Thats why if BBC say something transfer related, you know its pretty much true.

By the time BBC report anything you'll usually know if it's true or not. They aren't the only credible source out there.

Jose is not God. Depay is a donkey and Adnan's not a real boy.
I think now it's the best environment for our young/youngish players to develope. With all new shiny signings and mourinho there won't be much spot light and focus on Depay and januzaji etc..

Thanks to FSW he's a part time scouser.

I agree they aren't the only credible source but they are absolutely gold standard for accuracy. If it's on there, it's as close to fact as can be without a club statement. BBC confirmation is my 'cock out' time.

In some alternate reality Madrid would have De Gea & Pogba in their side next season.

We should erect a statue of that fax machine that essentially saved us the pain of having Dave leave United

I agree that they're gold standard, but they're also always the last to report. I usually know rather a player is coming or not before they say shit.

Man I've been waiting for you, can't even sleep week while I am on vacation on the other side of the world. How likely is Juventus to take the deal? Did they say this is the amount and we are open or did they just say that to Raiola only or? Good that Paul is on board.

At this point its more than likely that they will take the deal. United are confident. The same thing was said about Henrikh M.

I dont know any details of how much we will pay and I never will. I know that this transfer is important. We are going to show financial power.

€25m for his agent, fecking hell. That's absolutely sickening. Awful awful awful for football.

Transfer fees have been rising for a while, no surprise agents fees are following.

Can you imagine how they're going to react when they discover the £100m includes the deposit for Dybala next summer too? :smirk:

now you've done. prepare for more disparaging laughs at our lowly club dreaming so big.

Just because something he reports doesn't happen doesn't mean he isn't credible a large percentage of the time. For all we know, all of these things he reported at one point was true. Maybe Alonso was going to stay but changed his mind for instance. Balague has called a lot of shit right too.

I have my doubts that 25m agent fee is legit. maybe its 25m for all of zlatan, targaryan and pogba combined and its some lost in translation shit.

Pogba, Zlatan and Mkhitaryan in the same window with no CL! From Anderson, Cleverly and the donut midfield to Schweinstager, Pogba and Zlatan, what a difference a few years make. I wouldnt be suprised if we are crowned champions again. Best window of all time

@Juventuz

I dont understand why you guys are so salty about Pogba possibly leaving for 120m euros. It is not like you need him to compete in Serie-A, which you basically have locked down before the season even starts. Furthermore he won't make a difference for you in the CL since tbf. you dont have a chance of winning that trophy anytime soon, Pogba or no Pogba.

for the 120m euros you can:

- buy 3-4 new quality players
- decide your own referees for atleast three seasons ahead
- probably buy the Serie A
- get all your players fresh "vitamin" shots
- get all your players complimentary Vespa's

It is a win-win situation. Done dealio, al spaghetti-o.

Ballbag as others said is one who uses the throwing shit on wall tactic. Sometimes it sticks. That's all. Look at Di Marzio. He has been consistently getting thing right. You can't do that with throwing claims around.

they'd never do that!!

1 year from now:
- Guillem, what do you think about the weather?
- Look, guy, Pogba wanted to join Real Madrid, ok?

I think it's probably that.

Maybe a bonus of some sorts for getting all 3 of his clients to 1 club.

I wouldn't be too sure about the numbers Ballague spouting off. I doubt we are giving an agent 20% of a transfer fee.

Might workout to be 20m in total after signing Ibra, Micky and potentially Pogba.

Fair enough. Pogba coming then do you think?

We can't be too far off the 'what page do you think it will be confirmed by?' question.

For what it's worth, I'm going 294.

First tweets getting out about deal accepted. Monday we'll see if Juventuz fans were right to mock our "low level" club or if United is just structurally the most successful club in the world financially speaking and that money was earned on and off the pitch! That's a big difference!!!

I don't think there is anything insulting about being his 2nd preference vs a sunny and successful Madrid; we have to endure in the Europa League and our team is very much a work in progress And are having to pay inflated fee's and salary to compensate for that.

I think he's the closest clone Ive seen to a young Roy Keane (when we signed him). They are similar in every physical and technical aspect. We had to break the British transfer when we signed Keane, so its not surprising we have to do the same to sign Pogba.

Pogba will be a brand phenomenon for our marketing department and its likely we'll sell him for a profit in 3-4 years time, which will soften the business case.

I think its a done deal.

A follow up to that:
-What does De Gea think of the English summer?

Throw enough shit at the wall, some of it will stick...
