Wow, we actually look like winning an auction because the other club isn't willing to pay the high agent fees. How the times have changed!

The 100 million valuation though is meaningless as the club has the means to pay it. My preference would be to get in someone who has more goals in him with this kind of money. Last season, we were toothless upfront and we have only added Ibrahimovic who is a 35 year old coming into a new league. I believe getting in a top number 10 is of a higher priority that a box to box player like Pogba.

They'll accept the reported €120m offer? Have we even officially made the offer yet?
Well we will "officially" make the bid monday but in principle i think Juventus know that they are going to accept it otherwise we still wont be negotiating.

The reason we got so few goals was because for much of the season we were negative, passing sideways and backwards. There were so many games where we struggled to create a chance or hit the target in 45 minutes. I doubt that will happen this season under competent management.

Bwahaha Real, perma lisping cnuts. Bow to your financial overlords.

We control the noodle and the tyre sponsors. Are.you.afraid

The quoted figures are insane but the best bit is with the best part of 2 months to go on the market, we'll have inflated prices across the board having pretty much finished our business, whilst everyone else suffers the consequences, ha!

Getting a Player of this calibre would be a fantastic sign. I guess it helps that PL next year will be one of the most interesting seasons of any leagues ever.
Working with Jose surely is an additional plus.
Finally he will return as hero and as our absolute top star.

Next target. Juventus as our farmer club.

I dont really know the price to be fair. The most important thing is that we are going to make a deal with Juventus. The tone of them not selling is history. As i said before, we were going to get our Hollywood player this year and now it do look really promising.

Bring on the finale and be done with it. We are going to have our best summer.

Okay. First things first, Ballbag is a cnut.

I am taking my cock out. Juventus is about to take the deal. Its not done, but it is going to go down that way. It also sounds like Di Marzio is 100% right. Pogba has indeed made a deal in priciple.
Your source again, or from what you've heard/read in the media?

We've also added Mkhitaryan and Pogba will pitch on with goal from midfield. We have a much more rounded attack now, along with a manager who will emphasise a little more on directness and less on possession.

There's been a lot of negotiating in the press I think. My guess is that the €120m figure is a Juve leaked one while the £65m one we saw in the Guardian (and Independant?) was probably leaked by us. It's all just posturing, when we get to the table both sides will have an idea what the other is thinking.

I also think that this "Real won't go as high as €120m" business has been leaked by Juve. It's them saying "you have a clear shot at that price or you can try and low ball us and find yourself in competition with Madrid for his signature".

I think we'll pay up and have our Marquee Man. The Pogbadical Son is finally returning home.

The markets been inflated for a while now. Remember those Leicester bids for a certain Troy Deeney of 30m?

My only concern over the signing of Pogba. Before people @ me hate!
1. Yes I want him.
2. Don't care about the fees.

This Pogba deal stinks of Di Maria. Might be wrong.
He clearly wants RM move. They won't refuse to pay or match our offer. Juve are probably thinking our offer is too good to turn down. Let's say he comes despite that he doesn't really want to be here.

Plays like turd for one year. Too eventually sod off to Real madrid because Woodward loves selling people cut price.

Just a thought. Hope it goes the other way should he actually arrive.

Mourinho.

Aye but this is raising the world record fee for a player by about 20%, which I think is a lot more significant.

Saying that, I'm still unconvinced that's it's true and will happen.

I'm not sure how people are coming to the conclusion that he "obviously" wants the Real deal? Because Ballague said it? But no its been going on longer than that. It's really really irrational thinking and mostly borne on the fact that some see Real as a more popular destination due to Spanish media narratives. I mean if there was an English journalist saying "Pogba doesn't want Real" he would be derided, but whenever it's the opposite, some take it as Gospel.

I dont get this sort of thinking. Firstly there is absolutely no clear indication he only wants to go to Madrid. Absolutely nothing. Secondly, why would a player move to a club he absolutely has no interest in joining especially when we cant offer him Champions League for at least the next 12 months? Look at Zlatan - he had offers from China for way more money than what we offered but he chose us because he has no interest to go to China. Look at Bat Shit Crazy - Palace matched the offer Chelsea made but he rejected Palace because he had no interest in going there. Also why would a player who is being talked about in the world class category and has aspirations of winning the Ballon D'Or play like turd for a year. He has self respect, he has an ego - professionals dont do these sort of things.

Few huge difference: Pogba knows Manchester and really enjoys the life in Manchester. Pogba is ambitious and big ego. He wants to be the best. (Di Maria only worked his butt to stay in Madrid. Everyone knows how Mourinho had to call him out at time for his attitude). Mourinho is not LVG. Pogba agreed principle with us before we contacted Juventus. (Di Maria only agreed to join after PSG pulled out due to FFP after we reached some agreement with Real). Someone being called Ballbag is on merit.

One thing that I do really like about Pogba is his desire to stay on his feet and keep going, he's always looking for the advantage and really battles to stay on his feet. Watching his best bits and show reels does get me excited, but then I remember watching his full matches and his lack of dominance in games is a concern. He has all the attributes but is lacking something, and I'd suggest it's a mentality problem.

Still, would like to see him back at United. He'd be an instant improvement.

Mkhitaryan says hi.

probably cuz Bale and Ronaldo were crying like babies to get to Madrid.
They are the top destination.
Heck, even Jose was desperate to get there.

The presenter wasn't even asking the Balague the question, he was asking a French journo about Pogba wanting a return and Balague jumps in mid question in a mocking tone chatting about Europa League and...oh come on.
Waddle actually said why doesn't he fight for Madrid if he wants the move? It doesn't make sense.
Balague then mutters about whats the odds of a move to Madrid when he's 27.
Imagine being outwitted by Chris Waddle?

Jose will sort it out. He turned Lampard into a beast.

Rival fans are so salty, I'm loving this.

Effectively, with us signing Pogba, it means City can't sign Kroos (lulz that they even thought they had a chance), definitely won't be signing Bonucci as Juve won't sell both players now. It has also screwed over the market for this summer and will inflate prices. We've done our business and can now sit back and watch everyone scramble and fail to make deals at their price.

We also ensured by signing Mkhi that Dortmund wouldn't be selling anymore of their star players (Auba to City).

We've royally screwed over City this summer, 8 days into the window being open, to the point that Stones is their only viable option. We've done our business, ready for pre season and left them in a mess.

Feels good to finally efficiently strengthen our squad.

Troy Deeney, 30 mill refused
Raheem Sterling, 55m mill
David Luis, 50 mill
Benteke, 35 mill

Pogba, about 100 mill pounds, who the feck cares? The money is there, and he is 2-3-4x the player compared to all of the above. Our Adidas overlords will make it worthwhile and we will get six new shampoo sponsors in Africa, eight new sports drinks sponsors in China and seven new chicken wings sponsors in America on the back of this deal. So who the feck cares.

As a fan I have more joy with seeing Pogba playing for my team than I have with Uncle Malcolm and the rest of the Glazers having an additional 100m in their bank account. Bring it on, football is crazy. Embrace it.

Would I rather we spend this money on Pogba or the Glaziers....Hmmmm

As for shareholders etc. we pay a yearly dividends. Isn't it the more we spend on transfers, the less we pay out due to profits? Or am I wrong

Well think of getting Mourinho, Zlatan and Pogba as the greasy breakfast you have the next day along with some coffee. An instant cure.:D
Best manager in the world.
Best player in the French League.
Best player in the Italian League.
Best player in the German League.

oh my. that's diabetes of a meal right there.

Why doesn't Pogba do that then?

Jose was desperate to come here if we're going to believe some in the media...

Ever thought about motivational speaking because I'm already at the Champagne?

Because Madrid haven't committed to Pogba like they did to Bale and Ronaldo. If their intentions were as strong, Pogba would not be talking to us.

To the Messi thread . At this rate I would take Kante or Mahrez in just for this hype. Somebody holds me.
