Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Still think Madrid will cough up at the last minute especially if he plays a big part tonight and in the final if that's how it pans out. We need him sent off for dissent at the very least :)

I'm convinced that Ed's got a blank cheque on this one. Whatever Madrid go in with, he'll gazump them and I think Madrid know this, hence why it's gone a bit quiet on that front.

I'll just leave this here.

Really annoy me with those Juve fans on that messageboard calling us deluded for thinking Pogba would come here. Juve is a big club with a nice history which I respect, but they need two face two realities:

- The PL will always be a bigger attraction than Serie-A. In fact Serie A is also behind Spain and Germany
- Manchester United will always be a bigger club than Juventus

There, have that dose of reality with your next portion of pasta.

They have retaliated back to this post of yours :D

Really annoy me with those United fans on that messageboard calling us deluded for thinking Pogba would stay here. United is a big club with a nice history which I respect, but they need to face two realities:

- Serie A will always be a nicer destination than PL. In fact PL is also behind Spain and Germany
- Juventus will always be a bigger club than Manchester United

There, have that dose of reality with your next portion of fish&chips.

They can bait us all they like but that also means that Pogba also didn't say all those positives about Juventus :)

Neither do I, but the OP I responded to said that re-signing Pogba for a record fee will make us look silly, as if that was a reason for not signing him.
Rival fans will laugh over it, but inside they will be pissed off. Even on Rawk yesterday, a couple were trying to laugh over us paying that much for a player we let go for nothing, only for quite a few Rawkites to put them in their place about how we won't care as we will have bought one of the best midfielders in the world.

I won't believe a single thing about this until I see Pogba himself hint towards it in some way.

I'm convinced he'll move this summer mainly because of the money on offer, we're offering him probably around 9 or 10 millions euro's more then he's on at the moment, that is huge money. Real are going to have to sell Moratta & James to be able to afford him and even then do they want to spend such a sum of money for a player in a position where they are strong and then next summer will have to spend big to replace Ronaldo when the reality is they have financial problem; There's a but though as Pogba is one of the highest profile players in the world and Real have always made it their aim to buy these players when they are available.

Not a lot of point in stalking Juve forums for news, they have no more idea about what is happening than any of us lot :wenger:

I know Piotrr is reading this thread... Fair play, that was strong baiting ;)

I wonder why we didn't have some 'buy back fee/first choice' clause when we let him go there for nothing. Its annoying actually.
Because buy-back clauses happen only if you sell your player for a fee and agree to buy him back for a certain fee. He left at the end of his contract. We didnt negotiate with Juventus for his contract/fee.

If we have learnt anything in the last two years, it's just keep an eye on what Di Marzio is saying and ignore everything else.

Someone tell me what this means! Agreement reached with who? What does in principle mean? PogbON or PogbOFF?!
Agreement reached with Pogba via his agent with wages being agreed.
Woodward negotiating a price with Juventus in a range of 100m quids.

Redcafe vs Juve forum wars going on in full swing.

Basically. it's on like Donkey Kong.

'In principle ' so the journalist is covering his back, at least he will get a lot of publicity and his articles will be read.

We've been at war with a lot of forums lately. Must mean we're truly coming back. We're hated again.

King Jhonno is very well connected to that batch of Youngsters. He was very close to Ravel, pogba and others. I think he might not be lying. He called both exits perfectly, i seem to remember he was also connected with Ravel's gf rhea at that time.
He probably isn't lying, simply because he will want people to 'trust' him as a real source. It doesn't mean its going to happen though.

@SwansonsTache

I like Piotrr, maybe we could convince him to leave Juventuz and join the CAF. It is a more prestigious forum and is in a top 2 league.

Will be a tough one to pull off and I've long felt his potential fee is far too much. But given Bale went for 85 odd, 100 million for Pogba, I suppose, is in line with the times. Still, I'd expect Madrid or Barca to be his destination if they want him.

Madrid are now 4/1, considering they always like to be centre of attention, they have a French legend as manager, and it's widely reported that that's the players preference, I would say that is a cracking price.

and what if we massively overpay for him and make him the most expansive player in the world, the top4 list is made by Real and Barca now. It's time to show who has the biggest financial power in the world of football and put other teams in their places. We might get nice 5, 6 years out of him, his mates Januzaj and Lingard might be pushed even further and in the end we will make profit, selling shirts and reselling him on to Madrid if he goes..

we also saved money on Ibra and made a fantastic signing in Miki T, now it's time for real midfield general... we have Schneiderlin, Herrera, past it Carrick and Sweinsteigger, hardly an exciting midfielder like back in the day with Scholes, Keano, I also always envied Zidane to Real, now it's time we have our own, and he's one of our own in fact..

doesn't really matter how much he costs if 100, 120, 150 feck madrid we can get him and Juventus can't refuse the offer of their life

I like Juventus to be honest. Don't hate us guys.

Is there any reason Juve would sell? They are a huge club, I can't imagine they're desperate for cash. If we wanted to keep a player we could afford to reject any offer for them no matter how crazy.

They will sell because they will never get a bigger offer for Pogba. It will break all transfer records, they can buy a whole new team with that kind of money in the Serie A.
They already bought Pjanic and Benatia and bid for Matic...they will be just fine.

When they sold Zidane they bought Nedved, Thuram and Buffon and the rest is history :)

The MEN account is normally dreadful, but this is a good tweet

You cannot have anything more than that without actually begining contractual negotiations.

Also on that King jhonno, the fecker is followed by so many journos and united fans its unreal.

I wonder what SAF is thinking by now. All his value and United way talk look silly considering he allowed Pogba to go on free because he preferred playing golden oldies, Cleverley, Ando and co instead.

Juventus forum right now is a mess  They've started to claim our arrogance of thinking we're the best team around (if anything we've been the most pessimistic board around for 3 years).

The best bit is their denial, claiming that Pogba wouldn't come to Man Utd if given the choice. He called himself a Mancunian a year ago FFS. They were fortunate to nab him in the first place, I don't know why they are acting so buthurt about the supposed talks.
