Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

My girlfriend is coming over to possibly break up with me but feck it, if this signing happens, I couldn't even be sad about it :D

If he'd stayed he might not have blossomed into the player he is now, and also we'd probably now be talking about losing him to Madrid in his prime. Instead we're potentially buying him in his prime.
He should have a lot more left to come aged only 23! Extremely exciting coup nonetheless.

They don't want to sell him just like we didn't want to sell Ronaldo but money talks and £100m is a ridiculous amount of cash, they wont reject that.

Based on nothing at all, if we go in with a fee that big would it suggest Juve had at least given us a steer on what they'd accept and we're basically doing what Real did with Ronaldo and agreeing to pay it to do the deal?

Fwiw I still think it's likely Real will get him or Juve won't sell at all, but the amount of noise around it, seemingly from all sides of the deal, suggests there's a real chance.

Real is out. He will sign for us.

Sad to hear mate, but look on the bright side, Pogba is coming home.

I thought Keys was a mental loon but his tweet from a few days ago suggests he does have some contacts and he is not completely off his rocker!

keys has been right on many things. called the lvg sacking if I recall, way before most

I am not believing anything until I watch him on Chilevision 's equivalent

Not bothered if France get knocked out tomorrow or not, it's only 3 days to wait

If we are getting Pogba surely we're going 433 then, otherwise we would need an absolutely defensive tank next to him in a 4231, one we don't currently possess.

We feckin well do possess one in the form of TFM :drool::drool:

'United tax' increases by 50% if this happens. What a fecking ridiculous amount of money to throw at a player.
I rarely, if ever, agree with you but this is actually an insane fee we are talking about. He is not a Ronaldo or a Neymar who will win you titles single-handedly. Honestly think we will be crazy to shell out that kind of money on Pogba.

It aint but in future deals every club can say hey they gave 120 mil euros for Pogba we can raise up the price crazily.

In theory, but people thought that would happen after the Ronaldo transfer, and in reality, yes prices have gone up, but you didn't suddenly see loads of players going for that sort of money.

I'm just thinking 3 years down the line:

De Gea (28)

Varela?(26) - Smalling(29) - Bailly(25) - Shaw(23)

Fosu-Mensah(21) - Pogba(26)

Mkhitaryan(30) - Zlatan(55) - Martial(23)
Rashford(21)
I wonder who will actually be in that team in 2019/20 season.

If this goes ahead, it will literally be lift off for Manchester United as a club again. I absolutely could not care what we spend to get him. It will show everyone else how massive we are. Why wouldn't we want to show our strength? Flex our muscles so to speak. We have all wished for a summer like this, it could be beyond our wildest dreams. Think back to before December and look how far we've come since then. Woodward is literally a corporate version of the muppets in this transfer forum. He and Jose have the makings of the best duo ever. This could be wonderful. Juve are not going to turn down that money, just no way. They are a selling club.

Don't care what we pay, better on players than in the Glazer's pockets. Too much accounting going on.

Funny people say they want Germany so the transfer could be faster, but there will be a 3/4th place playoff Saturday surely?
Or is that World Cup only?

On to the Matuidi thread.

The guys over at Juventuz ignoring all these links about him agreeing to terms with United

Mind you I still think they'll keep him for another year, but they really are overestimating their drawing power
