Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Mourinho doesnt just promote youth, he's buys them back!

You get a sense Jose would follow Pogba to the end of the earth to get him. He was desperate for him last year as well. Really rates him. He'll be unreal for us if this comes off.

£100m is probably necessary after Brexit.

fecking leave voters, we could have had him for pennies if you voted remain

get the feck in. feck the naysayers. ban them all. burn them at the stake!!! let's get this done woody you muppet GOD

I heard that tonight. Juventus has agreed to negotiate. Nothing about the deal between us and Pogba though. But I trust di Marzio.

We've met their asking price, blown Real Madrid out the water too.

He's a much more dynamic player than Kroos too so it's good times ahead if United get Pogba. Zlatan, Mkhitaryan and possibly Pogba. Wow.

Mourinho I think this is the dream job to say what players he actually wants, he can really build something and I truly hope Pogba happens, the Aura is already being restored around OT.

Some United fan in Wales must have sacrificed his whole flock to get us to this point. That decision is probably why Wales lost today - it was either Pogba or the national team from the muppet god.

But now we can hide him in the basement and close the border when Madrid come searching for him in a few years lol

I have to say I'm normally pretty pessimistic when it comes to transfer sagas but seriously, with Di Marzio now aggressively pushing the story about United being in talks with Raiola and the numbers being quoted, this is some serious shit. 120 Million Euros is an absolutely ridiculous offer on the table, no way in Hell can Juve reject that surely, he's not worth that much money.

But to us, it is worth it in the long run. The guy is already fantastic and his ceiling is huge, not to mention that this would be a huge statement signing. Seems we really do want him and we're willing to pay whatever it takes. Ed is clearly sparing no expense. Pogba and Ibra is going to have our marketability soaring and the next batch of potential world class players will be drawn to the club with names like this at the club alongside Jose. We're even blowing Real out of the water with this, hence why Marca aren't pushing the "Real want Pogba" agenda, they won't match us financially because they have more pressing areas to strengthen.

You can quote me now, The Pog is DEFINITELY coming home.

So if Pogba hands in a transfer request, does that mean Juve will have to sell?

This is on like donkey kong, Juve have to sell for that price, with their transfer policy they could buy a whole new team with that kind of money.

The only doubts now seem to be about Juve's willingness to sell, but they can't turn down £100mil, no club can really. Either way, one club makes a huge statement to the rest of the football world whichever way it ends up going.

He's not handing a transfer request. He will get some of the transfer fee.

Surely people know how these things work. He will ask to leave via his agent and not officially.

I would be shocked if Juventus turned that down.

Been sucked in too much now. I wouldn't be able to handle the disappointment if we didn't get him.

Hope he is rubbish tomorrow. Stay the feck away zidane.

And Mkhitaryan. Don't forget Mkhitaryan.

I tried typing him in as well but it just annoyed me because you signed him, and also because it's a pain to spell.

You're winning the transfer window by a country mile at the minute. It's interesting that Mourinho's targeting the core of the side to improve. Bailly (CB), Pogba (midfield), Ibrahimovic (striker) and Mkhitaryan (attacking midfield). He had a strong core during his first time at Chelsea as well (Cech, Terry, Makelele, Lampard and Drogba).

These are the 2 big things for me. A signing like this will not only show the rest of the football world we are eager to get back to the top but this along with the signing of Jose is reminding us fans that the club wants to be back up there too.

Also with Pogba he could become our new poster-boy, which would hopefully mean a certain Scouser might not be so important to us anymore. :D

It definitely takes the edge off it slightly that we let him go for free not that long ago, but I don't care. We'll get ridiculed for a few weeks/months until he starts tearing Liverpool, Arse, Chelsea, City etc brand new ones. Then they'll shut up

If he'd stayed he might not have blossomed into the player he is now, and also we'd probably now be talking about losing him to Madrid in his prime. Instead we're potentially buying him in his prime.

If we get this one through we're back, I reckon. With Jose, Zlatan, Mkhitaryan and Pogba, we'll challenge for the league at least. Then with Jose at the helm and a squad like that and you would assume CL football, we could finish the job and put together a squad capable of fighting it out for the PL and CL over the next few years. I really think getting Pogba back would mean that much.

Of course, is we don't, I still trust Jose to get us back there. I just think this would be a massive signal of intent.

I presume that the entire forum is cheering on Germany v France?

Here's hoping Juventus realise it's too much money to turn down and we get this done quickly before City, Chelsea, PSG or Madrid try to ruin things. Pogba is the missing piece that we need, I really hope we pull this off.

Ridiculous to think he was ours not so long ago but at the end of the day, it was a huge mistake to allow him to leave when he has proven to be the midfield player we so desperately needed the last few years. If we manage to agree a deal he will give us the goal threat and creativity in the middle of the park that we have badly lacked.

I don't think anyone thought we had much chance of getting him so if we have to pay a record fee to have him back here then so be it, at least we have the money to spend and if it wasn't us it would only be one of our rivals. This transfer window is turning in to a muppets ultimate fantasy, please let this one happen to top it all off!

I was determined not to invest any time or emotion in to this. But it's impossible not to believe it might happen now.

I can see Juve rejecting our €120m bid knowing how desperate we are and that there is a likelihood of us increasing it.

I bet we finally settle on €150m...

This. He's not a one, two club man, he will move around like Ronaldo, he wants to be the best, Ballon d'Or etc. We're getting him in his best years.

This is fecking huge! We are in with a very real chance. Of course Real Madrid can come in and spoil the party, but we have a good chance.

I'm doing the 'Zaza slide' in appreciation of this news! He's as good as ours lads! My inner muppet has gone wild with anticipation.

Well that's certainly an item of news.

Tancredi saying agent will get €25m.

fecking hell. I wonder how much he has made this summer.
