Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

I don't see Juve been the problem here the money will to to good for them to turn down. Its whether Real manage to get the money together although I extremely doubt they'll want to pay anything near the figures currently talked about. Pogba obviously wants to go to Spain and may hang on for another season at Juve but Real or Barca may face the same problems next season with United pushing the price up. Juve look a bit short on centre forwards son don't know whether Real have a good bargaining chip in Moratta.
How would Juve like England's record scorer?

Because Di Maria at United worked out so well. :) Sir Alex mentioned he only ever signed players who absolutely wanted to play for United.
Anyway, I still hope we get him, Pogba already knows the club and the area so he'd know what he's getting should he decide to leave Juventus.

like JSV you mean?

I don't want him if he's starting following Juve on twitter, how dare he.

I was fine with the club spending 120M, paying huge wages. I was fine with him going for a free, some of his performances in the Euros all fine.

But the moment he started to follow Juve was the final straw!

JSV? Veron? he'd been talking about United as a big club far before we bought him, he was actually one of the only continental superstars outside of England to mention United as a giant club along with Batistuta if memory serves.
It seems obvious to me Fergie didn't buy Sneider for example as he felt Sneider didn't want to come here enough to drop his wages by x%.

JSV fled Lazio because of the passport scandal. He never wanted to come to Manchester and 6 months after signing with us he was in Rome bitching of how ugly Manchester is and how these neanderthals expect registas to tackle.

SAF brought JSV because he underrated Paul Scholes as a CM and the ginger prince showed him how wrong he was in doing that. As I said in numerous occasions, PS was the best AMC in his era. Surely the likes of Zidane were more talented. However no one was as consistently good as PS

I don't recall that latter half of that at all, infact it felt he was making noises that he wanted to stay at United, even when we sold him 2 years later, though if that is the case, shouldn't it be put down as another reason not to sign a player who you're not sure actually wants to be here instead of somewhere else?

I do, because I lived close to Italy at the time and it was all over the Italian media. To answer your question, god knows whether a player wants to come to your club or not. The most important thing though is that he is able to be professional. And lets stop with this 'SAF didn't signed Sneijder because of' nonsense. He didn't signed any midfielders because he wasn't able to tell his boys (Fletcher, Ando, Giggs, Scholes and Cleverley) that they weren't good enough/anymore and that they should pack their bags and leave. There were other, better options around one even in our team.

Very true

Couldn't agree more, probably one of my favourite midfielders of all time and I think Zidane said pretty much the same thing but in French.

He left the club has a boy and hopefully he returns to us has a man.

Yeah, listen to your agent, the lure of the cash but please don't base your future around the opinion of your mother, Paul, has lovely as she is!

People should start wrapping their heads around idea that it is going to be Matuidi and not Pogba.

Not sure about pogba, seems to have an 'artistic' temperament. Lot of money being touted and I think that we're probably being used to get him a big deal at Madrid. One thing, I was at the Ireland game and was impressed seeing him in the flesh for the first time, he had no problems with the physical stuff and was handing out some bruising stuff. He's def premier league ready, it's just a question of whether he'd fit in the team. I think matuidi would be a better signing

"I think I know who the 4th player is but I'm not going to say, just that's it's someone who's been here before... actually I don't know, I'm only guessing"

Oh Paddy

Well i think we know we're in from him. The problem is will he come.

Rumours abound. Confirmations won't inbound before next week.
Ya French sources are saying Matuidi to United is close, citing a fee of around €25m

Is he that different to what we have? Just strange that that he would identify 4 positions and one of them not far removed from what we already (even if Matuidi is debatably better than what we have).

I don't think it would affect the Pogba deal, if it is possible then Woody would still want to break the record and we would still need some creativity in midfield. I have never been convinced it will happen but i will not let anyone steal my hope unless it comes from Pogba's mouth himself.

He makes my blood boil whether I see the bloke, Paddy Crerand I mean, I remember when the news started to real about LVG going and he went off on a massive rant and ended up looking a complete idiot

I remember Crerand getting pissed off with a journalist for saying LVG was about to get sacked. He was sacked the following day. He obviously knows nothing that goes on within the club.

Crerand said he is guessing the player he want has been here before. He didn't say we are signing him.

Bless him, he looks like an old pisshead in the park that will just start shouting at you for no reason "Pogba ya cnuts, I'm fecking telling yous dontcha touch ma Buckfast ya wee cnuts, Pogba!"

The thing about Paddy is that he's so outspoken you're never sure if he's been on the bottle or if he actually let something slip.

That would be bloody depressing. Missing out on one of the very best young players on the planet and signing someone pushing 30 instead.

United claims to be the biggest club in the world and sees itself a real rival to the big 2 in Spain - they better find a way to get this over the line if they want to continue to say that
