Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

I will be amazed if we sign Pogba. Put yourself in his shoes. A 23 year old with a very very bright future - Would you want to return to a club who lets face it, didnt rate him or would you rather go to their European rivals (Madrid) and let them know what they are missing.

I believe United are doing all they can to get him and can outbid anyone but does Pogba want to come back here?
I've put myself in Pogba's shoes, and if I were in this situation United are exactly the club I'd come to at 23. Spend 5 years proving everyone wrong and then move on.

Mourinho and Woodward had nothing to do with him leaving so I don't understand your way of thinking.

Not only that the coaching staff and manager that got rid of him are no longer there anymore, it's a completely different club now. He probably doesn't even know the majority of the first team players, things have changed so much.

I corrected your post :)

Out of curiosity, why are people so confident we'll get Pogba?

It seems a lot of people are getting excited. Personally I'm a little lukewarm on the idea, but anyway, am interested to see why people think it's going to happen.

Surely if Pogba had loved Manchester, he'd never have left in the first place. I get the fact that RM and Barca aren't as rich as they have been in previous years, so maybe they won't want to buy in, but there are surely a lot of other clubs that would love to buy him (PSG spring to mind).

United haven't got CL football this year, having failed to qualify two out of the past three years. Mourinho is still a huge name but his last season was a disaster, so maybe he's not the draw he was.

Not saying it won't happen, just genuinely curious as to why so many posters seem to be buying in to this. Feel free to call me a killjoy if you want!

...

------Schneiderlin--Pogba----
Mhiki------Rooney-----Martial
------------zlatan-------------

I like this as long as Rooney can regain some of his previous form, but I would much rather see Herrera in the number 10 position to inject a bit of pace behind Zlatan

Assuming United has allocated 150M(Big assumption on my part with no proof, but for a few articles) for JM to rebuild. Assuming, Pogba wants to come. I can see this happening. We have probably spent about 65M for three players(Including whatever signing on bonus for Zlatan). We still have the chunk of that money left over for him to land Pogba.

There is also the money that might come in from any sale of players. So it is not the question of if we can pay a 100M. If Pogba wants to come, we'll get him.

Whether it is the right signing or use of the funds is another part of the debate. If the player wants to come, we'll land him. Price won't matter.

If we do buy him, I hope Mourinho marks him in his list as a Manchester United youth product he promoted to the first team.

I'd be inclined to agree with you but don't think Rooney will be sitting out under Mou. Herrera and Mhiki could be tasty though.

It depends what you want to believe. He was rash and he would admit that himself. There was no problem he just wanted to play. Why would Pogba go to PSG ahead of United? We're not in the CL this coming season, but it's night and day. His father talked of playing in a better league - I don't think France is what they have in mind. There are lots of reasons why it could happen but only time will tell.

Media/ABU bollocks. He loved it here, Fergie rated him, he just took a better offer.

If he truly wants to become a hero, a year without C1 is fine, as long as Mourinho promises him to be the most expensive player ever and to build a squad around him to take Manchester United back to the top, in England, and in Europe.

If Zidane comes back with a similar pitch, it will be hard to fight but if Real cannot pay him this year, his only options are to stay, with no chance to win the C1 realistically, or come to United. Nevertheless, this year is not the year he will win any ballon d'or or a C1. But this year can be the year he prepares United to become again the gigantic club it is, and next year he bangs it in the C1.

Simply put: money. Given enough financial incentive, his agent will steer him back to United, whether Paul wants to come here or not.

Pogba still has friends in Manchester too and I think he enjoyed his time here with us, so it's another positive.

Then how do you know that he is long way short of 4.5 million net when there is nothing official from Juve?

I'm not the one making outlandish claims that Pogba is on £150,000 a week or is 4.5m euro's or 6.5m euro's a year?

feck you @Suvaid666
Here is a youtube video to enjoy while ed does the dirty work.

He is zidane and Yaya toure in one.

Dont burn me. It seems this is true.

They were in the U21s team when he was there and he was pictured on holiday last year with Memphis, probably just following his friends as he's known to be very close with Jesse.

He's Following all the people who are leaving, the twit.

Not my problem if you don't believe GDS and don't have idea about Italian football. All the media take reports from GDS when it comes to reporting wages but most are clueless about net and gross wages.

Btw have you ever seen club reporting player wages?

Why only follow them JUST now though? That's a long time. It's probably just coincidence, but if he suddenly followed 3 Madrid players it wouldn't be a good sign.

Mourinho talks about a mystery signing, Marca claims Real are in for Andre Gomes and Pogba starts following 3 United players.

Done deal

Stop it, okay, stop it, I refuse to be pulled into this transfer saga.

How much fun could Pogba have if he just started trolling people? Imagine if he started following Pepe and Sergio Ramos tomorrow. And Vincent Kompany and Raheem Sterling the day after. He has the power for pure Muppet overload if he was amused by this kind of stuff.

Looks like after the 3 signed, there will be one more. Mourinho confirmed he wanted 4 players

A word of advice going forward, don't place so much faith in a national newspaper.
