Ole found his position by accident.
He should be playing further up.
Played like shite today regardless!

He’s only ‘at the heart’ of what we do because the entire team is designed that way. He’s pretty much at the heart of everything good we do but also has a tendency to be involved in some of the rubbish we do. He certainly over does it at times and I do wonder if it’s because he’s thinking he needs to hold it until the magical pass opens up and it just never comes.
He's not a CM. That much is clear.
Only saw second half, was easily our best player...so much class in almost everything he did strength and power and looks fully committed.
So god knows how bad he was first half
Eh noHe’s only ‘at the heart’ of what we do because the entire team is designed that way.
He is meant to get the ball in the set up phase, so there is no-one else who can be at ‘the heart’.
Just because he delivers his responsibility 1 attempt in every 15 isn’t some worthy achievement. Vast majority of the time, he fails miserably to do his job.
He clearly wasn’t. Name 1 mistake in the 2nd? Yes his first half was poor but he was fine 2nd.Well, if that is what you think of the second half, you'd probably have he was good first half as well.
...he was garbage both halfs, apart from one pass.
I've said before he needs to be played in the 10, only player we have who actually has the ability to play in that position, the two times he got there he slid Rashford in lovely, play him 10 and get either Fred or someone else into that midfield.
He players like he's trying to sabotage us.

Dunno if it’s been mentioned but his complete lack of interest in the defensive side of the game was also a factor in their equaliser. Vestergaard should have been competing with two United players at that far post, not just one.
Considering how often Pogba seeks to create physical challenges in the centre of the park it’s surely not a big ask to get him to use his size and strength in our own box, every now and then?
To be honest I didn’t think you really deserved anything else than 2 words if you’re going to speak complete rubbish. Did you even bother to read the rest of my post or did you just get triggered at the “he’s at the heart of everything good we do” if you’d bothered to read the rest you’d understand why I didn’t feel like you deserved anymore of a response.@Andersons Dietician pogba at the heart of everything.
More than 2 word answer might be a better rebuttal?
That was his bad parts. That is the parts I don't like, then you have the positive highlight video which will look similarly spectacular. What is important is what happens in the middle, and today he worked his ass off and was aware of play. He made himself available, didn't hide from responsibility and kept our team in control for large parts of the game.
I read your entire post. Just making yet more new excuses for him.To be honest I didn’t think you really deserved anything else than 2 words if you’re going to speak complete rubbish. I refuse to believe we wouldn’t be improved a lot if we replaced him with a proper creative CM who is only a little worse than him going forwards but actually knows how to retain possession, when to keep it simple and where to stand on the pitch.
If we don’t play him in the CAM role then we may as well sell him. I find it incredible that he doesn’t play there for us, he’s by far our most creative player and we are wasting him in a deeper position. If we played against him we’d be laughing if another team under utilised him as much as we do.
For me this has to go down as one of the worst long running decisions the club has made. How can no one see it? If he played for any other team bar City he would be the furthest forward midfielder without doubt. It’s gone beyond comical and is now simply bad management all round.
If we have any chance of a top 4 finish we need his creativity further forwards. If he stays deeper we’ll be lucky with a top 6 finish.
I agree, but look at this squad. What is he supposed to do? We'll lose more from dropping him. He wants out and we can upgrade him, but he tries his best now and that is all I want from him at this point. The point is that the good parts need to be absolutely fecking spectacular if we’re going to carry a player who gives the ball away so often, game after game, without making any sort of defensive contribution at all.
And his good parts were better than average today but certainly weren’t absolutely fecking spectacular.
