He was very good, but his mistake was extremely frustrating. Holds onto to the ball far too much and just for show at times.

He is the only one in the team that wants the ball all the time and takes creative responsibility. Everyone else is happy to get it and move on.

Shouting (ALL CAPS)
His dwelling on the ball has been bugging me for 2 years now. Does nobody call him out on it in training? WTF is he doing? move the ball fast FFS, everything takes an absolute AGE with him.

He's capable too! He is a fantastic one-touch player when he wants to be.

Our best outfield player by a large large margin, but feck he ain't half frustrating at times.

He made one mistake but without his contribution we wouldn't have scored. Shaw and Smalling aside, none of the players around him showed any initiative or authority out there. Sanchez, Lingard, Valencia and Lukaku were very poor. Fred was good in patches but has a long way to go.

Take him out of the side and see how ordinary we look.

Don't disagree. He was our best player, but again can't absolve him from that ball though.

This match just sums him up in nutshells. Quality all around but fecks up in a costing moment. Should cut these moments down.

Phenomenal. It’s quite absurd the consistent level of technical ability that he displays effortlessly during a game. He doesn’t seem to understand the concept of fatigue

So fecking true. Problem is it's a recurring mistake time and time again. He's so immature he doesn't learn.

He is so much better than our next best player it's hilarious.

So what if he lost the ball for the goal. He ran the show all game. Passing and dribbling was insanely good. Also yet another assist.

He has faults (he will lose the ball like he did for their goal at least once a game). But this happens because he is our only player that is good enough to slice open a team throughout a game. Sanchez is not and Martial is low on confidence because he hardly starts.

Dont let the goal we conceded fool you. He was incredible today and Lukaku and Sanchez and our right side are wasting Pogba's passing.

He was so good today. Especially when they scored. He took over the game. Shame the players ahead of him are so poor.

Badly let down by his teammates second half.

He was left to do far too much on his own, and nobody steps up to help him out. There was ample opportunity to clear the danger for the goal, after he lost the ball.

Best player on the pitch by far but it's a shame no one else step up to his commitment today

I don't think he'll ever fully shake the habit of dwelling on the ball a bit too much at times, and I am sure many will point to him being robbed by Neves on the halfway line in one of those dawdling moments that led to their goal, but overall he was excellent today, eveyrthing we did good creatviely came from him and he's playing with a flow to his game that we've not seen for a while.

He in a 2 man midfield is a disaster and that showed as soon as Fred went out.

He lacks football intelligence in his game at times, it's fine to dwell on the ball (to an extent) as he commits 2-3 opposition players around him but he needs to release the ball quicker to his team mates where they are unmarked with plenty of space to attack.

The problem is that he often do this in dangerous areas.

I agree he made a mistake and needs to try and dwell on the ball less, but there was still plenty of chances for the defense to shut down the attack, it was good play from Wolves as well to give credit where it's due.

Can't fault him for trying. Only one that steps up when we're not plain sailing. Everyone else seems scared to get on the ball.

Also think him holding onto the ball so long is because our players seem to turn into manikins when we're in possession of the ball.

Far too often, he just didnt have options to pass too. No movement whatsoever.

Fantastic performance. It's a shame such a stupid mistake derailed it.

Scholes must have liked watching that despite his previous moans about Pogba.

Ran out of steam in the end, played well in the first half but he can't do it all on his own. He kept going, but he was United's only real attacking threat for the most part.

Don't disagree much.

I thought he was ordinary. Nice touch for the assist. Lost possession too often, including in the build-up for their goal.

His United career in a nutshell today.

Both brilliant and frustrating.

More like ManUtd in nut shell. Pogba did a mistake and we had more than enough to win the ball and defend but failed.

Pogba plays well = team plays well. Pogba mistake = team falls apart. Team rely on him way too much.

I only saw the last 35 or so minutes of the match, but he was absolutely brilliant during that. Almost embarrassing how much better he was than anyone else in our team (bar maybe Shaw), and there was a 10 minute period in particular where it felt like it was basically Pogba vs Wolves. Absolutely everything went through him.

He has shit before him, shit behind him and the only player that was better him was subbed. You can only sub De Gea off now and Pogba will start shooting from his own half and passing to himself.

On a serious note sometimes him getting forward with the ball was the best way to create any type of danger. I simply refuse to blame him today because he also had to do the winger's role and put the only cross in the game that actually found Lukaku.

Yep.

Maybe he does hold onto the ball for a tad too long at times, but at other times it is crucial. He keeps his head when everyone else around him is losing theirs and has an extra second or two. He’s on a different level to any of our other outfield players and would start every week for any side in the world.

He was brilliant today. Him and Shaw are the only two players who can absolve themself of any culpability in today's result. Literally couldn't have done more. Unfortunate that both of them were also an integral part of their goal.

The last few games are the best I have ever seen him pass the ball, just exceptional creativity and control of range. Was amazed at how much space Wolves were giving him, even deep in our half when he looked the only player capable of finding a dangerous ball.

Brilliant player. If your going to dribble past players then there's every chance you'll get tackled here and there. Don't do it on the edge of your box. But on the halfway line ? So what. Where are you supposed to dribble ? Just in the final third ?

We'd end up with a team full of Valencias if some had their way.

He's been great this season.

Can't understand how would people call him ordinary today, he was brilliant and I demand a lot from him. Bar this needless loss of possession in the middle pitch which happened to be costly he ran everything, all knds of passes including his beautiful assist, felt sorry for him that Sanchez and Lukaku are dogshite and we couldn't win this game, cuz he really wanted to. his top3 game for us for sure

he had a brilliant game but the loss in the middle of the pitch in a position he was is very dangerous, after all we condeded a goal after it, every coach of football will tell you that. But nevermind, they got luckily at the end of the cross after Shaw almost showed the player out so it was a bit unlucky for Pogba but he should be more careful about that. Scholes never had to do that and Paul needs to learn from that however if we need a brilliant thing or two from him I am okay from him to have a go at times because he is one of a kind of a midfielder who can actually quite safely dribble in the middle. Unfortunately he chose a wrong situation in the game to do it..

Good game again. Also, the same shit again where he wants to be the incredible hulk and tries to hold off 3 or 4 players. I wish he would stop doing that in our own half. His stupidity eventually led to the goal today.
