Will be interesting to see what kind of reception he gets today, and also will be interesting to see what kind of performance he puts in, after downing tools previously

Hopefully he can start performing under a new manager but I really feel he has to start proving his worth sooner rather than later.

Hate all the drama surrounding him and would love it if he just kept a low profile and played well for a few months.

Cardiff 1:5 Man Utd
All I can say, if you don't rate Pogba as world class player, football might not be for you.

I dont think he even played at his best but still very important today. He should never have been benched. Not this season and not last season. What a massive waste of such a talent.

First game under a positive manager, three assists. What a virus.

Started poorly but grew massively into the game and ended with an amazing deserved 9/10 performance. Had a role in almost every goal. Can't fault him at all. Keep that level Pog.

But he has!

If it wasn't for his brilliant performance against Newcastle Jose would have been gone earlier.

He plays better in a functioning team with movement in it.

He still has some flaws in his game. But his talent surpasses that. He has showed that plenty of times this season.

Give him some movement upfront and he will have loads of assists every season. I feel he will have a massive second half of a season now. If you don't rate him on a football pitch, you might as well just give up on football altogether.

Essentially 3 assists if you count winning the free kick. not only that he recovered the ball more than any other player and was just generally fantastic.

He never downed tools.

Played very poorly against Southampton but Matic has been putting out similar performances throughout the season. No one has ever accuser him of downing tools. Lukaku too.

Fantastic game, most talented player in our squad by far. If he can keep this up he will be world class like he was in his last season at Juventus.

Fantastic today. Who could have known that a confident Pogba in a team with attacking movement would be great other than everyone who watched the World Cup.

A lot of United fans are really hurting right now! Feck 'em! The man was on point today.

Excellent today! Didn't play like he did in the World Cup though, he was further forward to influence the attack.
I've slated him to death for a long time, but if he can keep playing like that we'll be laughing.
His play for the second goal was brilliant.

He started out rusty, which isn't surprising given he seemed to be struggling to get over an injury before being left out, but once he got going he was fantastic and he'll only get even better as the team gels in this new style hopefully.

He was poor on the first half. Yes he won the foul and made that pass to Herrera (which shouldnt count as an assist) he lost the ball way too often.
2nd half was much better. Much more accurate passing and at times ran the show.

I think it was only the first 15-20 minutes that he was poor. He started turning it around after that and then continued improving into the second half.

Wait, it was not Pogba, but Mourinho that was the real issue? Hmm who would have thought.

Was also great to see that rather than sulking that he didn't get to take the penalty, he was encouraging Lingard.
Lip reading him looked like he was saying "it's ok, it's ok" and clapping. Great to see that..

Why ? He played a fantastic pass into space that invited Herrera to shoot ?

Give him passing options, runners off the ball and his passing range is exceptional.
