Hasn't been pretty for the majority of games he has played either has it.

We've looked a far better side with Pogba in it than with Pogba out of it regardless of how well you think he has done personally.

If you disagree with that I honestly don't know what you've been doing the past few games because it obviously hasn't been watching United play.

I agree in terms of attack we've looked even worse without him. He has still been poor for us in more games than he's been good for us IMO. People forget how many poor games he's had.

In his last 10 games or so for us he has been one of our poorer players.
So that's very different from what you originally said.

Even still, I disagree. He hasn't been brilliant, but he's generally kept it quite simple and I've noticed he overplays less as well.

That's not true though. I'm forgetting the game but it was one Pogba missed and we were pretty good.

We were dreadful against West Brom without him, and dreadful against Everton until he came on. We were solid against Middlesborough, but couldn't control the game against one of the worst sides in the league.

Maybe boro where Lingard scored a worldie. But one game doesn't change that. However Pogba certainly has a long way to go and hasn't met his own expectations but we generally play better when he plays ok.

I see similar qualities with De Bruyne sometimes with him. He might not always play the perfect ball against a packed defence but on the counter his passes are almost always perfect and drive the team forward.

KDB's passing is so much better than Pogba's. I don't see the comparison at all.

He drives the team forward so well with his passing. His finishing let him down today but otherwise a pretty good performance from him.

An average performance against a 10 man poor team. Let's hope he can push on from here and start to control the bigger games.

Hate to repeat myself but he is consistently one of our worst performers. Doesn't even deserve a starting place on current form but it's not like we have anyone else to come in for him.
Agenda posting.

Overall a lot better today. Still think he's playing within himself, though. Glad he's back in a midfield three. Hoping Jose sticks to it from now.

Didn't get to watch the game, will watch highlights later - but we've just won 3-0, and Pogba played 90 mins thus contributed to the win.

Don't see how anyone can be complaining with that!? And I'm far from his biggest fan.

Next week against Chelsea he gets a chance to redeem himself against a top side, lets give him a break til then.

We're definitely better with him than without him. But that's a reflection on inadequcies iof the others rather than Pogba being the player he's been hyped into. And I'm sorry, putting in a good performance against 10 man Sunderland hardly is too much to ask now is it?

I really feel sorry for Pogba when he still can't score goals. He gets in creat positions but the ball simply won't go in. He must be really frustrated now.

Let's hope that his 'inability' to score this season well 'even out' next season and hopefully he'll score 15+ goals. :)

Not a bad game and measured/controlled - you can argue about price tags, expectations etc but I think it's clear that his talent should result in him contributing more than he does at the moment - with some better players around him, an adjustment to his position maybe and a preseason under his belt, I'd hope for him to improve a fair bit next year.

One thing I'd question is his urgency/energy. I'm not saying (at least directly) that he's lazy but IMO he gives the impression that he thinks the game comes easy to him and he doesn't need to involve himself in the 'heavy lifting' side of things. I'm 100% convinced he'd be a far better player with a bit of Herrera's doggedness and hustle- you don't want a headless chicken running around and some may be down to Mourinho's instructions but he could certainly do more.

I don't think anybody has argued otherwise?

I didn't say anyone had.
Just seemed like an unnecessary shot at Pogba and our side in general. Our midfield was still controlling the game when they had 11 men.
Lets be honest, there's nothing we could have done today that would have changed your post if a 3-0 win doesn't suffice

Average to good against bottom team in the league playing with 10 men.

So nothing noteworthy. As per usual.

We'll see his genuine level next week vs Chelsea.

I wasn't having a shot at him. I said we're better with him than without. I just want to see much more from him. As most do.

Solid enough game, easily our best player on the counter attack, the rest hesitate or overrun too often..

He never plays well against good sides so don't get your hopes up.

Awful until Sunderland went down to 10 men, then had some really good moments in the second half. Still not good enough.

I usually defend him but i agree with this summary today. I was a bit disappointed after his cameo against Everton where he looked like he just wanted to dictate the game and not bother with the showboating etc.

Needs to learn how to strike a ball cleanly. He actually does need someone teeing him up for hours on end in training over summer.

I love when the game opens up, if there is space around him you know he is going to do something beautiful. Going forward our biggest challenge is probably working out how we can create that space for him to operate in. Obviously a starting point is having a more mobile player than Fellaini covering.

Stop expecting him to do something outstanding every game and you'll appreciate him more.

KDB clearly had a good formation and can do 2 or 3 things very well, and in some parts of europe where people apparently dont know the difference between talent and elegance, will probably think that's a wc player; but his name should not be mentioned in the same sentence with Pogba...the only thing he can do better than Pogba is cross the ball...like a good full back.
He's not and never will be not even close the level of Pogba.
