I believe he will succeed here after a season but damn it you cost £89 million pounds and can't finish a shot that simple?

Awful...awful...awful. Chemistry between him, carrick and Herrera has just disintegrated in a matter of weeks.
I blame that Pogba - Herrera - Carrick thread someone made before the Liverpool game. That trio has been mediocre since

Everyone has been equally shite apart from Rojones.. yet the Pogba thread is always the first bumped. The Cafe's new Rooney?

People will defend him to the death on here but the fact is he's been nowhere near good enough for us. Needs to pull his finger out.

I don't care about the finish. The goal would have masked how awful he was - I get people saying...positioning...chemistry...etc etc...but, he was barely involved at times.

He has to inject himself into the game - not be so passive at times.

fecking hell guys, relax already.

He's having a poor run, having played as many minutes as anyone in the squad (including DDG ffs) and had a summer full of football in the Euros. He needs a break.

People banging on about his transfer fee or social media need to get a grip.

Tbf - 31-32 appearances already is a HUGE number. I get the feeling he's probably having to work harder than he did at Juve. Maybe - fatigue is an issue. Ibra is another I worry about (though he runs about 1/10th the amount Pogba does

Two perfect balls over the top for Zlatan now that he hasn't been able to control.

Not been great, but once again creating things.

I'd bet he's covered less ground than players that have played less games then him though tbh. Spends a huge amount of time walking.

It's a poor do when we have the world's most expensive footballer in our line-up, with 20 minutes to go against the bottom side of the league, and I am fully confident he will provide nothing to help us snatch a win.

Wasn't great, but his ability to pick a sublime pass at any time like he did three times in the second half shows his quality. Rashford should have finished his chance, having done so well to take it down.

The sooner he puts as much effort in to football than he does his fecking hair and dancing with that twat Jesse the sooner he'll start to look like the player we invested so much money in.

There I was, thinking he'd bring some midfield domination or some presence in midfield. A player that could grab the game by the scruff of the neck and win it on his own. But he has all the presence of a paper bag. Only looks spectacular when he has time and space. But then again, so does Tom fecking Huddlestone.

Comes out with his dyed like slim shady, but will the real Paul Pogba please stand up? just a 89m dabbing mullumbu

Seems to get away with murder in terms of his performances. Then again who else are we going to play.

How many times does he wait for a pass to arrive at his feet only for the opposition to step in front of him and take the ball?

This guy doesn't even look like a £10m player and I'm not exaggerating.

Shocking.

Elephant still is in the room.

I expect the most vaunted, transfer fee breaking and marketed player on the planet to help us won these sorts of games with his supposed world class talent.

Instead we are treated to a midfield journeyman performance with a few strolling Hollywood passes.

Seems as though his modus operandi is one good game followed by 4 games of mediocrity - just about right for a team who is 6th in the Premier League.

Don't know why that made me smile but it did, probably because I Agree 100%

More interested in social media than playing football

Should have scored the chance he had in the first half, some excellent passes in the second half though and a coupe of important defensive contributions.

Improved in the second half. Though he is one of if not the most talented in the team, he should not be relied on as the main man. As soon as we replace Rooney, and the team gets firing, we'll start seeing the best of him.

He really reminds me of Gerrard, and not in a good way.

Thought nov and dec he was back his best but the last few weeks starting from the liverpool game he has been shockingly poor.

So it's Rooney's fault that Pogba is shite??? FFS - maybe it's because you fanboi's fill his head with all this social media admiration that he is so unfocused?

I've not seen him improve at all since he arrived. Improved his fitness yes, but his skills still leave alot to be desired as a top midfielder

Was better in the 2nd half, but still off form.

I think people have unrealistic expectations for him(not defending his poor performances lately). If they're expecting him to be the best player in the world, you'll always be disappointed.

If Rooney cannot provide the creativity then the responsibility naturally falls to him... and i don't think he's ready, or used to that.

Even though it has little bearing on the performance imo, Rio can feel vindicated in his criticism of this dabbing cnut. He's an embarrassment off the ball and the time he spends dancing he should be improving on his closing down and tackling rather than resulting to shoulder barges that always leads to fouls.
