I don't care about his haircuts. What we need from him over the next 2 years is to improve under pressure. In the tighter games with less time and space he has a tendency to struggle. And sometimes, like against Liverpool, he looks an absolute mess, which is unacceptable for a top player. And then of course that is linked to the maturity he needs to gain as a footballer. He often does fancy things taking unecesssary touches which serve no other purpose other than trying to make himself look good.

He's fantastic when he's on his game but he needs to make these improvement to become one of the best IMO.

Zlatan and the wingers couldn't get into the game much either, I guess that's what happens when you play the kind of back 4 we did against Hull.
Right, and De Gea should not be forgotten, too. His distribution was awful (misplaced 20 of 34 passes, 29% success rate). If GK & backline can't keep the team in possession it's simply impossible for the midfielders and attackers to get involved much.

We really need two energetic midfielder that can come in and contribute to give the current 3 some respite.

Fellaini just doesn't cut it

Probably nonsense but someone else seen the rumours about him being injured?

Hope he plays today. Needs to get his swagger back after the Liverpool game. While Pogba does go missing in big games (and I am sure he will get better at it with experience) he can be more than a handful against non top 6 teams. A good game today for Pogba will definitely help United in the upcoming fixtures.

I used to attach to United players, I would always feel like I'm one of them.

I can't stand Pogba and Lingard, though. I'm too old or football has simply changed. Just look at this fecking video...

What's wrong with dancing?

That video is mint :D might just be because I love Pogba but I like seeing him have a great time off the pitch, shows he is enjoying being back and the atmosphere must be great too. Seeing Lingaard and TFM (I think he was filming?) is class to see, the squad seem closer this year

He's always in a great mood, he's got amazing positive character and that's what most people hate at him. That video just shows again that he's having fun at United and I'm sure that he'll be back to his best against Hull. I expect a long range goal from him tomorrow.

You know what I'm talking about and that it's not dancing that is the problem.
young lads who like to have fun and enjoy themselves? its the current generation and maybe you feel detached from them. That is to be expected if you are a bit older than them. Do you think any 30 + year old feels like he could be "one of them" with Pogba and Lingard? they are into different things nowadays. There are plenty of younger lads (13-23 year olds) who will feel very much attached. Check the Pogba and dabbing craze more more info

Fine by me if they deliver week in week out on the pitch. Also this confirms that I have nothing in common with these multimillionaires.Oh well..as long as the team I love is winning, I guess I can live with this.

This. There's always a few miserable turds that thinks these young players shouldn't be allowed to have fun though.

Martial looks grumpy, rarely shows any positive emotion and gets slated.

Pogba and some others show themselves having good time and a having laugh with their team mates, and gets slated.

What do fan wants?

What? They are only allowed social media and dancing if they deliver week in week out? They are young lads ffs. Nothing to do with being multimillionaires neither. You are obviously not obliged to like their style but you are talking out of your arse. I like their style.

Imagine rhe caf being showed that video in June by a future time traveller?
Everyone including the old bags would be pissing themselves in excitement.

Cheer up and be grateful for what we have.

As if the class of 92 boys wouldn't of been doing the same. They just didn't have smart phones.... and the music would have been better.
They used to go and get smashed in Hacienda but to listen to stories of them now you'd think they were in bed by 8pm every night and never did anything but train every minute of every day, never stopping to enjoy themselves.

If you're not on instagram and have a negative opinion, best to keep it to yourself. It's the kind of thing that instagram is awash with and that audience laps it up. We only get exposed to it because of this forum yet it's not really meant for us - generally.

It's not my cup of tea, I think punching Lingaard's face would be immensely therapeutic; but that's why I'm not on instagram and I can focus on their footballing performances without being tempted to comment on mundane daily behaviour of young, avaricious footballers.

First of all, no need to say I'm talking out of my arse. I can see that you disagree with me, which is fine. You like their style, I don't - nothing wrong with that. I can live with your opinion. You could try and do the same.

Pogba was basically bought for his social media / marketing appeal. I'm pretty sure players are encouraged to use it.

What a bunch of old men (im almost 33 :( )

The more I listen to Rio Ferdinand, the more I respect him. He's got a good head on his shoulders, and was just a top professional. Would love it if he was still involved around the club, setting an example.
