The twitter stuff is exhausting.
I just don't see how this will be a good thing, this the same guy that acted unprofessional at Barca.... Barcelona! The club that nearly every player wishes to play for, if he was not motivated at Barca then what hope is there for a club like ours that has had a terrible record of late of players taking the Mickey out of club and only being in it for the money.
For feck sakes you’d rather have Bale? Those complaining of Dembele’s attitude seem to be forgetting Bale’s concern about his golf handicap rather than football in Madrid. Bale is an absolute cnut and I’m glad we stayed away.
Barcelona are a mess from top to bottom - haven't you realised that?I just don't see how this will be a good thing, this the same guy that acted unprofessional at Barca.... Barcelona! Massive talent. In some areas better than Sancho. Can score and is great crosser. He used to take corners in Barca. In Barca! BUT... has a horrible injury record. He can be the next big thing or be Alexis 2.0. It's a gamble but it seems we don't have other options and for less than 50mils. Well.. What about his wages?
That’s a worry. Hamstring injuries are pretty chronic. Just ask Michael Owen at that same age
He's legitimately their 6th choice winger/offensive midfielder. Griezmann, Coutinho, Pedri, Trincao, Messi, Ansu Fati all ahead of him.Honestly can't understand why Barcelona would do this deal for a loan.
If he did move to us on a loan move, he'd return to Barcelona with 12 months left on his contract. Best case scenario for them is he gets 10 goals, 10 assists for us and we're tempted to pay €50m for him next summer.
Barcelona lose all leverage if they let him go on a loan without an obligation to buy.
He's legitimately their 6th choice winger/offensive midfielder. Griezmann, Coutinho, Pedri, Trincao, Messi, Ansu Fati all ahead of him.
Which is why we SHOULD NOT go for him. He can't stay fit and even when he does, he's performed way below expectations for years!
This is a carbon copy of the Di Maria deal. Except this guy is way, waay worse.

That first paragraph is complete lies.
Last year he scored 1 in 9. The year before, he scored 8 in 29 games in the league playing left forward. It's really not up to par for a Barcelona forward. His only okay season was 18/19 and even that was disappointing, especially his consistency. That part is nonsensical, he has performed on par when on the field.
Some fans are under the impression that Pogba can motivate him.![]()

His debut season was very poor, 4 goals in 23 games in all competitions and he struggled with consistency, injury and many very, very poor performances.
Plays either, he's probably one of the most two footed players you'll find around. Is he even a right winger? Doesn’t he prefer the left?
So he’s an injury prone, expensive, flop of a Left winger? Sounds like a typical Woodward signing...

But you can't compare his numbers with Daniel James or Samuel Chukwueze, you have to compare them with the other Barcelona forwards. Comparing his numbers to Ansu Fati, Suarez, Messi & Neymar, his numbers are exceptionally poor. He would never get anywhere near 35 GA in 4200 minutes for us since we are a much less productive team playing much higher standards of opponents. As I added in my previous post Dembélé has recorded 35 goals and assists in 4125 minutes, if you think that it's very, very, very poor than most top players are very poor. But you seem to not consider the amount of minutes actually played.

The only hope we're clinging onto is his Dortmund form 3 years back![]()

His first and last seasons were disasters for Barcelona, from performances to fitness to discipline. He's deeply unprofessional and missed training TWICE already under Koeman, when he is supposed to be working hard and get fit again. He misses training due to late party nights, gaming and just not caring.
Worse than Balotelli and Cassano. With less talent.
I like this to be true but no. Barca will release Dembele if a decent offer comes in. They, Koeman to be more precise, desperately want Depay at the club.Ousmane Dembele transfer to Man Utd denied as Barcelona release strong statement

Barcelona technical director Ramon Planes has categorically denied any negotiations are ongoing with Manchester United for Ousmane Dembele. United are desperate to get some business done in the final few days of the transfer window with reports emerging that Dembele is now their top priority.
"First of all, no negotiations with Man Utd at the moment, completely deny that," he said.
"He's a player we count on, we know his potential.
"We hope this year the team sees the best of him."
