The key is managing his fitness issues and I do believe our club will take the necessary steps to bring the best out of him. He's a risk worth taking and a player that needs mentoring which Pogba can do IMO.Robben is also my main reference. I loved him from the beginning but when Real Madrid got rid of him, I was torn between the idea of United pouncing on a genuinely great potential and taking a big risk on an injury prone player. I feel that Dembélé is in the same bracket, with the small caveat about Barcelona being generally terrible with players fitness management, Alba being an example among their big names that people probably overlook.
Now it's also fair to say that Robben was still a sick note at Bayern and his muscular injuries were seemingly chronic, more than simply being due to lifestyle or poor medical support. I suspect that the same is true for Dembélé and the question for me is whether United will be able to manage Dembélé similarly, manage the fact that he will have niggles, that he will need to be constantly monitored and should never be left dealing with it by himself?
I don’t want him either due to his injury record but you have to admit, any games he does play surely keeps Dan James away.My whole view would be different if I could trust the lad to stay fit, but I don't at all. What good is a signing if you feel like they'll barely play? What benefit is it.
Massive talent but also a big risk if we're buying him. Doesn't seem to fit what Ole wants.
Terrible injury record
Doesn't appear to be desperate to play for Utd.
Off field issues
Rumours over lack of professionalism in terms of looking after himself.
Do we ever learn?

Persuading a player to join us who clearly doesn't want to leave Barca? And an injury prone player at that. Rather him keep quiet and focus on his own game which needs to improve massively.

There are obviously concerns but we should at least give the kid a chance, if they do manage to sign him.
Get someone on loan or get a young player for a much smaller price. If we can get Dembele on loan with an option then that would be great because he is someone with a lot of talent and it could work out brilliantly if his physical issues can be resolved but if we're spending a fee of around 50 million euros for a player who has had huge injury problems then that's a big risk (they've seldom gone well for us in recent years) and probably puts paid to Sancho even next summer. Plus Dortmund will get a cut of this deal so would actually make money out of us not buying Sancho. The people complaining, who would you bring in because it is clear we are not paying what Dortmund want?
For €50M, and given that Sancho ain't happening, this is worth the punt.
Could be a bargain if he gets his injuries sorted out
Nope, incompetence at its greatest.
If he can get over his injury issues(wasn't a crock before joining Barca), he's a €100m player easily. It is a gamble but which transfer isn't?Get someone on loan or get a young player for a much smaller price. Well, it is at half price as a player of his talent would be Sancho money. It's a gamble but it's worth it. 50 mil on someone like Sarr that we know is not a World beater or take a risk on a truly special talent? If we want titles and CL it's the right thing to do imo. Worst case scenario we still get back 20 or 30 mil with a sale. It's a good price, but it should be almost a half price deal seeing as he'll be fit for half the season at best if we get very lucky.
No, no, no, we have spent ages well years waiting to have a long term project and build the team bring in the right players and now we look like we are making progress we are going straight back to what got us in the mess in the first place.
Why are people not taking into account of his horrendous injury record. It's a bad deal.Supposedly Liverpool's first choice before signing Jota. Not good enough for us.
Never change United fans.

Imo, our incompetence throughout the window has left us little choice.
