No news but a bump
Martial is better than Mbappe however.
If you guys have an issue going for Mbappe because there were pictures of Cristiano Ronaldo in his room when he was a kid, I'm not sure why you'd want Dembele who has repeatedly said he dreams of playing for Barcelona. He'd be a monster anywhere he goes, his talent is absolute world-class but he's got Barcelona on his mind. I wouldn't mind having him for 3-4 years and then at 24-25 he can be sold for a world-record fee if he keeps his progression going.

Surely you can't believe that?Barca will be like the Milan clubs are now in 4 years. If MUFC get him they will have him as long as they want.

Of course. The tide has turned, I'm afraid. Perhaps you're too young to remember when Barca were not all that? They didn't win a European Cup til 1992. Things change. Barcelona are in decline. They'll be back at some point, like AC Milan, etc, but they won't shape the dreams of the next generation of young players. If United are bold, the next 20 years could belong to them
I don't think he's foolish enough to come here even if we are actually interested. He plays in a Dortmund team with a brilliant attacking system to get the best of him and he's basically free from most defensive duties so he can be fully focused on the offense which he is brilliant at. He needs to continue his development this way and not become a worse horse in this stage of his career. For what it's worth, i think he'll end up at Barcelona to replace one of their front three.
Jose would play him on the wings and ask him to track back a lot generally and in big games where we get even more defensive, Dembele would end playing as a fullback. His productivity would drop ridiculously and by then it would not take long for some to start questioning his talent or people will start saying he's not a proper winger and he is simply a wide forward or others might even claim he's better through the middle. I just don't see it ending well.
I know i will get stick for this but working under someone like Pep would actually be much better for him though i'd hate to see him end up at at city. I just hope we stay clear though. Perisic would probably be a better fit than him.
Even before Barca was "all that" they had Kubala, L. Suarez, Kocsis, Cruyff, Maradona, Schuster etc. And they always was the second force in Spanish football and a very attractive place for top players.Of course. The tide has turned, I'm afraid. What makes you think that?
People are obsessed every year with the idea of trading players, as if they are football stickers. How often does this ever actually happen in real life?
Both of which happened with Mourinho as one of the managers.Eto'o/Zlatan and Cole/Gallas are the only notable ones I can think of..

Barca are in decline? Yes, if we compare them to Pep's side or to Enrique's treble-winning one... One of which is considered to be among top 3 club sides in history by most and the second wasn't far behind. They have Messi, who is still better than anyone bar Ronaldo at times, they have Neymar growing into his peak form and the abundance of world-class players. And the fact that they are worse than two of the greatest sides at least of 21st century doesn't mean that in a few years they'll be a midtable club

Even if Barca somehow miss out champions league at any point in the next 4 years, just like united they will still have the power to attract players. La Liga is so weak outside of the top 3 that the odds are better of them winning the champions league again than missing out. Once they get Suarez off the books, they'll be right back in the mix of things buying the top talent.Barca will be like the Milan clubs are now in 4 years. If MUFC get him they will have him as long as they want.

I don't think they'll ever be as dominant as they or Madrid were recently, but Milan clubs FFS. Consider the disarray most of the teams are they will always be a lubricative destination.
Would agree if you added a left-back.He, Morata and Fabinho would complete a window that would take us back up to real PL winners, and grow into a genuine CL threat in a couple of years.
Can this just get locked? At least until something actually comes up linking us to him...
