Oscar De La Hoya v Manny Pacquiao

This is a cracking fight, anyones fight at the moment.

Why is Froch leaving his hands so low? he is not fast enough to pull that off. He's being caught because of it and should be winning this fight a lot more comprehensively.

I'm stunned at the weight difference between Manny & Oscar, was thirty but now only three pounds difference, kinda puts the Oscar too beig for him out the window...

That was a great fight, well done Froch, Pascal was magnanimous in defeat as well.

the fact they both made weight means nothing it is still a factor. cotto vs margarito for instance both made the 147 limit but the size difference was a joke the same with paul williams vs quintana.
also Oscar will probably rehydrate to 150+ where as 140/7 is Manny's walk around weight

Cracking fight, great win for Froch, the doubts about his level are gone now I hope he gets his payday. Pascal was great and a gent about his defeat, changed my opinion about him.

Oscar and Manny will have to go some to beat that for entertainment.

Froch Taylor next I say, i think Taylor could take him in a UD or at a massive push a stoppage.

Agreed I think Taylor might have abit too much for him but Froch has some chin on him and that determination some top class fighters lack, this fight tonight has turned me into a fan to be honest.

the issue will be if Taylor can take Froch's punches after Pavlik stopped him, he will easily out box Froch as Taylor has one of the best jabs in boxing today but if he gets caught in a fight anything can happen

That's why Froch could go far, Taylor has that suspect chin and lack of heart and if Carl just plowed in there he could quite conceivably beat him. I think this fight should hammer home to Froch that he has to take his defense to the next level, he's got a great chin but that doesn't mean you can hang it out there with a lazy left arm. I think he would be found out if he went against Pavlik or Kessler right now, I just hope his promoter does a good job and gets him his payday sooner rather than later, get him a nice couple of defenses and then go after Taylor.

I'm on the fence about staying up for the big fight, nearly 2am now, I feel good but it would be so easy to just download it tomorrow morning.

Anyone PM me a link? Not for me, my mate in Manchester is asking me how to watch it online, I suggested TVU, if anone can PM me so ca pass on would be appreciated and get a free signed picture of my tits...

Thought Amir Khan was very impressive earlier although admitedly I don't know a lot about Fagan other than what I've seen on boxrec.

You could see some obvious improvements with his defence, keeping his left hand up when backing off after having done his own work.

The kid has great skills and good power, he could easily come back from that Prescott defeat to win an alphabet world title. Whether he could go on to unify a division and then become a multi weight world champ I'm not sure but don't rule it out.

not so much Pavlik as he doesnt seem to be able to carry his talent up at the moment his 2 major forays up Taylor 2 and Hopkins wern't exactly huge successes but Kesler, Bute and definately Andrade who not only has a chin of stone but appears to have been carved out of stone fullstop.
Taylor im not sure what his problem is I dont think its that he loses heart because he looked fierce against Lacy i think its just Pavlik who has his number

I agree with that with Freddie Roach as his new trainer will help allot. I read when Khan was training in the Wildcard Boxing Club in LA with Roach he spared with Pacquiao that can't be bad for his progress.

nobody is handin out links because HBO has spies trying to lock off the streams most people are handing them out through PMs. A few boxing sites are bricking it and have banned guests so the only way to get on is registering
