De la Hoya I think has the edge, notwithstanding the promoter.

Still n'all I'd love to see Pacquiao beat him.

De La Hoya is 4 inches taller and has a 5 inch reach advantage, I know this doesnt mean Pacman has no chance but I just cannot see it.
 
pacquiao ferocity will go a long way but if de la hoya pops off his jab then good night pac man, after the fight win or lose he needs to fight JMM again

I think if Manny can get some of those lightning punches in square on the brow of De La Hoya and leave that pretty face full of blood, then he may have a chance as it will slow him down and maybe even get a stoppage, but it will be a mammoth effort for Pacquaio to win.
And I hope Pacquaio doesn't have that twat from the Black Eyed Peas singing him into the ring like the last few times...
 
I would put money on De La Hoya not being stopped, this will be a De La Hoya KO or the full distance, anything else would be a major shock in my book.

If it goes the distance, then in Vegas and a fight promoted by Golden Boy, then it's obvious De La Hoya would win, even if Manny gets the better of it.

I am going to go to bed, sober, Saturday night an wake up at 4.15am to watch United v Sunderland, then have a few hours extra kip and drive over to the inlaws to watch the fight, father-in-law being Filipino and all. I'm providing the illegal free Main Event, he can provide me with the beer! Will have a drink for the boxing, not the football, otherwise I'll bollocksed in the morning.
 
and round off the whole thing with a basketball game. those Filipinos love their basketball.

it gets better sir after banks pulled out of the Macca fight he has been replaced with none other than the craziest man alive aka Herbie Hyde! That is going to be an explosive fight for the WBO Cruiserweight belt

Khan? I don't think he will ever be regarded as world class, he is good but he just doesn't have a chin, I know many fighters have had great careers without having a marvelous chin but usually they have KO power to back it up, Khan has speed in abundance and Freddie Roach should improve him alot but not for me, he will never be a world beater like he was made out to be by the incredibly thickle British press.
 
i think he has all the talents to be except a soft chin like roy jones bthe diff is that roy jones never got found out until he was a mega star
He has speed, hand speed, accuracy in abaundance and decent power if he learns (and many do) to protect his chin as a soft chinned fighter i dont see why he doesnt become a world champion!
 
Enzo to face Francisco Alvarez, dissapointing. Apparently he is a KO fighter but won't be half as good as Herbie would have made it.
 
Enzo now faces a Blackpool heavyweight called Matthew Ellis not for the WBO belt and Pac weighed in at 142 while Oscar weighed in at 145
both will probably put on about 10-12 pounds rehydrating
 
Both fighters look in good condition, hope its a good fight.
 
Oscar is an all time great, at least one of his losses was versus a juiced fighter.

I don't think Manny will overcome the size and experience of Oscar.

Edit: I read the information wrong that was his purse for the Mayweather fight but he still stands to make 10's of millions of £'s.

Really good fight this.

Amir Kahn won didn't see the fight it was a second-round knockout. Audley Harrison lost again his careers has to be over now.
