From what i read, a lot of its not being showed live in the US. They didn’t show the opening ceremony live. They are only focussing on Swimming and Gymnastics.

Baseball in the olympics - what the feck? Only about 4 or 5 nations have leagues.
We should have Cricket in 2012, we may get a bronze.
We would definatly get gold in Darts and Snooker. I would love to see Phil Taylor with a gold medal.

I have seen lots of events live, even without US athletes in the competition. The prime time stuff is usually not live and is usually only the events that the US is supposed to do well in.
It's on 6 different channels where I'm at so there's something on at least one of the channels 24 hours a day.

I reckon Twenty20 cricket will be pretty big soon enough. If Keirin could buy it's way into the Olympics then I'm sure someone like Stanford would do the same for Twenty20

Cricket is one of the most popular sports in then world if you look at sheer numbers of people who play or watch. It has more of a place at the Olympics than Basketball.

The late night coverage in the US last week was showing some game where one girl bowls underarm at another girl wearing a helmet and holding a baseball bat.
I saw that and thought if they fecking have this shit in the Olympics, then surely cricket deserves a place.
