Yes, that might do him and the club a lot of good. He is going there with an approval of the club. Whatever crises the club is under, you should still get time to do what you like in terms of mental health.

If you want to travel to your home town, you should be able to. He must be under tremendous pressure everywhere he turns in the UK.
Bring away from the UK media should be better for him.
Maybe. Although we should also possibly do what is better for the football club.

Posted on it numerous times today and I still can’t fathom it. He has some pair of bollocks on him to go on holiday in the current circumstances, I’ll give him that. You’d nearly have to admire the brass neck on show.

Read it’s a private jet, wonder if he paid for it out of his own money or the club paid for it.

The club is seriously expecting Varane, Ronaldo etc play in the EL or perhaps worse? Let's see how well they deal with player mutiny then.

You've gotten confused mate. This isn't what I think the board should do, it's what I think they have done. Ole would have been sacked after the Liverpool game if I had my way, but I'm just a football fan like you.

I think the board have weighed up the pros and cons of both options and reached a conclusion based on which is the most cost-effective solution. Which is sad as feck.
I understand it's not your take on the situation, just pointing our how idiotic this board is if they weighed up the options and came to that conclusion.

You think we're a banter club now. Wait until Ronaldo and Varane are lining up against Legia Warsaw in the second round of the Europa League while being 11th in the league.

So the fact that Neville is always wrong is now being bandied around to get some "stand by your manager" points?

Look at the times. All their first seasons. Those are sensible opinions. Solksjaers been here three years, won feck all and looks absolutely clueless. No way would Neville defend anyone other than a friend at this point.

Neville defended Jose in his third season when there was rumors that Newcastle game might decide Jose's fate, he went on a huge rant against ManUtd board supporting Jose and then criticized players when Jose was sacked.

Man in taking holiday shocker. Faceless people on the Internet are up in arms.

One anonymous poster said "I've been working 29 hours a day since 6 months before I was born, who does this guy think he is?"
Another quipped "this complete stranger taking a short break in his home country has absolutely no bearing on my life and I am sickened by it.
Rather than taking time off, he should be suspended from the ceiling by his nipples and poked with blunt objects hourly".

Official sources have so far declined to make any comment on the shocking developments, although one insider from the commercial team said "would you like a bag love? Ok, that'll be £59.99 please"

His stance has never changed on that. He doesn't call for any manager to be sacked... as a pundit :D
I mean, it's fair enough in one sense, but it just becomes ridiculous when a club keep their manager against all logic. It leaves him with literally no reasonable or logical argument other than to flounder and bluster, whilst getting picked apart by his fellow pundits. He's going to find it increasingly difficult to defend his position as weeks go by.

I didn't sign up for this shit.....comes to mind.

As long as he's in the job, which is the plan until it isn't, then this was the only timeperiod he would be able to visit family back home until maybe the summer. No seeing family for Christmas like most of us are used to.
(There are some international breaks next year as well, but potentially a more busy schedule and more important games to prepare for.)
sounds fecking amazing

He's useless and appointed based on nepotism. We really don't develop tactics or some sorts of style of play three years on the trot, so what difference it really makes whether or not he goes on holiday?

The Sun you know, don't think I've opened the site or the paper since I was a a younger teen and even then it was just for page 3.

He's been way less critical, this isn't simply about saying he should be sacked or not, Neville has tiptoed around the coaching ineptitude for months, everyone knows he's always been a brainwashed cult of the manager numpty from the start and seems to think they should never be sacked unless it's him doing the sacking, but the refusal to even critique the state of tbe coaching is pathetic given that's what he's paid for, in the defeats against Liverpool and City he offered nothing and instead just praised the opposition for being miles ahead of us, never addressing why.

Encouraging from one of the best placed journos.

'CR7 could decide to leave the Red Devils this summer if the club does not qualify for the Champions League'

The Portuguese star, who has already scored nine goals in 13 games, five of them in the Champions League, will ask to leave at the end of this season if United end up in Europe’s second-tier club competition, a tournament in which, incidentally, he has never participated.
