Wasn't that Cher?

Wait, but wasn't Ole saying after Liverpool game that they are going to work hard in the international break to find solutions? It is getting ridiculous now.
I have a geeling they will do this why on earth would you sack the manager who himself has said he doesn't do the coaching of the players and keep the people who coach on! They need to get rid of them all and get an interim in and his coaching staff to get the season going.
The holiday thing has to mean he is gone. It has to.
Not sure I'd be so keen on Wood, of all the youth coaches we've had here over the last couple of season, McKenna's looked the best of the lot, his team was set up very well and played some excellent football. Although he definitely looks like a bit of an unpopular candidate with the fanbase at the moment. The expectations and reasons were completely different. It's easy to replace a toxic manager when the goal isn't to perform at a high level but to get rid of a nuisance. This Ole situation is in some way worse because this team goal is to be a top team in the short term and finding someone that can do that is not easy and it's even less easy if you are looking at the caretaker pool.
One option that would be fairly common is to look at the top you coach within our system, I think that it is Neil Wood. I know nothing about him but it is possible to have him as the interim manager until the end of the season.
Ah yes you got me. Old Tina was 'Simply the best' Which doesnt apply in Ole's case.Wasn't that Cher?
To be fair about the situation, if we're going interim, the coaches will have to stay. No coach is going to leave the club their at for 6 months, only to get moved on when the actual permenant manager comes in and brings his own staff with him. It's not ideal hiring an interim, but I'd still prefer it than rushing to appoint a permant manager now that we don't feel is quite right. Doesn't mean that interim has to be Fletcher or the like though, would be better to get one in that enjoys coaching and can hopefully teach our lot a thing or 2.

Apparently Mike from the canteen has been left in charge.
They are maybe trying everything. They tried to have an open dialogue among the squad after the 5-0 thumping, they had a nice dinner out after Atalanta to team build. They might as well now try and have a week off (?).

He does care about United.Interestingly this tweet should confirm that Neville doesn't give a damn about United, he can pretend all he wants but he lost all credibility in my eyes.
Good oneSo the performances have been poor, we have 2 weeks international break and our manager decides to take a week holiday... GREAT.
This should be the time to coach players, considering the amount that have not gone to International duty. Sancho, VDB, Pogba, Shaw, Greenwood and others.
He should be working to try and turn it around, instead of throwing the towel and still hoping to be in charge.

Just by contrast, the Juventus response to a poor run of form is to send players and staff to an intense training camp for a week rather than letting them go on holiday

I do agree about Woody and the board, But although I love Ole for what he done ON the field, I must say he has made some bad mistakes off it.I do really feel for Ole at this stage. He genuinely loves the club and wants this to work. I know the usual response will be well if he really loves the club he should step aside. Maybe he will, maybe he wont, but that decision should not be up to him.
I have no ill feeling towards Ole (or the coaching staff) - they have been put into this situation by our inept and incompetent board, who as we've seen since Fergie retired have no actual clue on how to run a successful football club. All this vitriol, this anger, this frustration, should be directed at the board and in particular Woodward. During his tenure he has made bad decisions upon bad decisions, to the point where we are actually condemning a manchester united legend in Ole. It makes me sick. And now I read that bastard woody wants to stay on as a consultant? Get the feck out of this club!
He doesn't call for any managers sacking. He's been on Sky 10 years now and has said this repeatedly.Never as in doesn't matter what happens with the club I'll always back my incompetent mate? Twat..
Good one
I don't agree with this and I know it's all about this emotional narrative people have going on, but he has never said any manager at any club should be sacked. I know everyone wants their soundbites but to come out with "Neville doesn't give a damn about United" because he won't come out and say the manager should be sacked is plainly ridiculous - in 10 years at Sky he's never said any manager should be sacked so why do people now expect different from him and pretend it's because Ole's an ex-teammate?Interestingly this tweet should confirm that Neville doesn't give a damn about United, he can pretend all he wants but he lost all credibility in my eyes.

What is a disgrace about the tweet hes replying to? Asking if Ole would get the Norwich job is abuse now?
