Buys Ronaldo, Sancho and Varane. Talks up a title challenge then proceeds to manage us to 7 wins, 3 draws and 7 fecking losses whilst conceding as many as we score! F27 A27.

What an absolute shit show but yeah let him continue...

Needless to say though, if we keep Ole to the end of the season, I would hope we fail to get top four.

If we act like a mid table club we deserve to place like one.

We won't make top 4 this season. No idea about next season because at this rate he'll still be here

It is load of nonsense this excuse how we can't get Ten Haag right now. He is in Ajax 5 years now. It is not like he just started some project or something. Give him an offer and he will come. Not the first and last time that managers leave clubs during the season.
Just an another excuse from our board (if true)

He already had offers this summer and he extended. The rumour is that he has a clause in his contract for summer 2022.

Ronaldo is gone in the summer if Solskjaer is actually kept on. Guy is a ferocious winner (The only "DNA" needed) and isn't wasting his last year or two with this circus.
It won't only be Ronaldo who demands a move; it's clear a number of the squad have lost faith in Ole: Pogba, Sancho, Van Der Beek, Shaw and Telles for starters.

Has this thread been merged or something? last couple of pages are confusing.

He'll be gone after the protest on the 13th.
I am pretty sure that Glazers know about protests and current situation on social media where fans are bombing every news with oleout.
So if they don't sack him before orotest, they will not after it for sure

I wonder when will it click with footballers that joining United is a high chance of career Suicide or at the very least wasting years of your career.

For the guys who care about money joining us make sense but for the ones who want to play top level football seriously if we are honest there are much better options for them players

But....we're too close now for Ole to give up...apparently! Lolz

We've already had Haaland and Belligham turn us down for Dortmund, something that would be unthinkable during the Fergie era.

Managers only leave when its a rare opportunity. He'll have his pick of big clubs in the coming seasons, without having to walk straight into a mid-season crisis.

Even the smaller clubs sack their managers when they dont perform. At United, we stick with mediocracy

Yes, the media pressure is getting ridiculous. Every hour it seems there's an article coming out about how terrible Ole is as a manager.

The thing is that's been happening since Liverpool and nobody acted, fans have been bombarding Ole out posts since Liverpool as well, I actually think the Glazers have absolutely no idea how bad it is. You can't run a company and see all of this negativity and not get rid of the root of the problem. It makes sense that they don't know how bad it is because not sacking him and delaying it is bringing more eyes to them instead of easily getting rid of and putting all of the blame on Ole.

Once they see the fans they'll realise how bad it is, just like they did with the Super League, They should have already gauged the fan pressure for the super league from the start, but they didn't. I think people think these guys are more interested in the club than they actually are.

We had many players turn us down for lesser teams whilst Fergie was here. Many players would now choose to go to Dortmund first for the sake of their careers. However, if say a Ten Hag comes here and ends up focusing a lot on playing young exciting footballers, that may not happen quite as much anymore.

It looks like it will be the next 3 games that will be the decider. I think we’ll probably get a win against Watford and then lose away to Villarreal and Chelsea which will finally put an end to this nightmare. I’ve said that before but I think his position really will be untenable at that point. It’s just fecking sheer stupidity though we’re willing to throw away needless points just to prolong the inevitable.

Just to add to my above post, apparently we're still in talks to extend Carrick and Mckenna, If that doesn't show you how disconnected the Club is from the fans and reality, It makes sense why protests are needed.

Is that not old news?

We can only dream of getting Ten Hag. More and more it's looking like Ole till the end if the season, we miss out on top 4 and we get Rodgers after that. Unbelievable.

Fergie had his Ronaldinho , Shearer and Obi Mikel moments but his pull was incredible. Rooney , Rio , RVP, RVN etc The good old days.

We've actually been just as bad in Europe, it's just that Ronaldo has pulled a few points out of his arse for us repeatedly

Does anyone at the club actually watch our games??

This is surely a joke, if anything we've been worse in Europe! I saw a tweet the other day stating that if it weren't for Ronaldo's exploits, we'd be bottom of our group.

No. It’s against the board decision to not sack him. It’s the same thing. How can you not see that.
#OleOut signs at the protest and you think it's not going to be targeting the man?

See, put signs up during a game which will get the point across without being outright disrespectful to the guy, but having a protest to get a manager out who happens to be a former legend for us is taking it one step too far, at least for me.

You mean, former legend who is intentionally destroying the club by knowing he is not up to job and not resigning to collect more money which he has not earned anyway.
"Destroying the club"? I mean that's a tad too dramatic, don't you think?

I personally do not have a yay/nay in the protest but let's be real here - this legend would be targeted for being a shit manager. This is exactly the problem with Mates United FC at the moment. Ole the player is not the same as Ole the manager. Sentiment should have no play in business decision necessary for the health of the club.
Agreed. Boo the performances. Let it be known by not chanting his name or clapping him off the field. But I feel if we are worrying about protesting, it feels a complete lack of respect for the man.

I agree and feel completely irritated with the current situation but would never want to participate in a protest against a former great for us, no matter how bad he is doing currently.

If Ole continues to be on the wheel for the foreseeable future, I genuinely cannot see any young player wanting to come here after seeing what happened to DVB and potentially - Sancho. We really need to appoint a manager who will remove the stigma Ole has created.

Even though Woodward knows nothing about football, how could he possibly think Ole’s European performances are his saving grace? He’s been shown up by Emery, lost to Young Boys, and flukes results against a much weakened Atalanta. That’s if you forget about him getting his arse handed to him the last two years in the Europa League.

Is Dawson a good source?

The board will not sack Ole because the Media and fans want him sacked. They will take the attitude that they hire and fire not the media or fans. They also gave him a new three year contract in the summer which they will cost them at least £15m to end and then pay compensation if they hire Rodgers. If they had moved quickly, which they never do, they could have got Conte for nowt but they dithered again, just as they do I the transfer market. If we do make the top four, they will keep him for ‘rebuilding 2’ mainly because no top top manager would come to United without CL football.

Ole's first real test. The players will want to continue playing in CL so I expect them to pull everything they have and qualify. Draw against Watford and lose against Chelsea. Then it will be the next 3 games that decide it.

We'll be dividing the season up in units of 3 games until the summer thinking the same
