Jesus Christ does it get any worse

Rashford rushed back again.
Maguire rushed back.
Pogba rushed back against Rochdale last season.
Varane rushed back.
Lindelof rushed back.
Shaw kept on the pitch for several minutes despite being concussed.

Phenomenal man-management. Definitely a manager who cares more about his players' well-being than his own job security...

Yes I'm definitely starting to hate watching, reading and hearing anything that comes out from his mouth. I'm so fecking sick of all this.

He looked very nervous and just no charisma or power behind him. Literally just a shell. I was sat there asking myself a question “if I was at school and had misbehaved, is that a personality that I would respect and who could get me on track” answer was no!

I liked him a lot. Now, more he stays and talk bullsh*t and more it’s easy to turn on him. It’s very sad actually. By not sacking him, the cowards at the board are domaging his image and legacy to United fans.
He is shredding his own legacy. He can always walk. He doesn't and that is not on the Board.

If true Ole should be sacked, he keeps putting injured or ill players on the field, that's reckless and it's very rare to see players do the right thing and refuse. The medical staff should be sacked too.

This game wasn’t lost on the pitch today. It was lost in the boardroom immediately after the Liverpool debacle. A serial championship winner in Antonio Conte was unemployed and the only viable candidate to really take Utd forward. Instead, Utd were out manoueverd by Daniel Levy who knew if he didn’t strike first, even Utd would inevitably have to act and put Ole out of his misery. It’s not Ole’s fault. Hes not equipped to handle a top team and Pep just reinforced that today. The worry for Utd is that there really isn’t a plan B now.
Just like todays game when he lined up with 7 defenders and conceded after 7 mins

no plan b

Question: Do you think there are better managers than Ole out there, Gary?

Gary: Right, let me instead talk about who didn’t and who wouldn’t do better than him...

Maybe because that's the only question left now. Who should replace him.

What the actual feck hahaha how far is he willing to go?

I've had a conspiracy theory that the class of 92 wants to be part of the ownership of the club whenever the Glazers try to sell. Obviously they wouldn't be majority holders but I think whoever does put the money to buying the club will be hounded by Neville/Scholes/etc. to be a part of it. Similar to how former players in the NBA own a miniscule amount of teams, they don't put the money in but they're the "face" of ownership. So my dumbass theory is that they want to make it so bad that they can come in and "save" the club. Probably a dumb theory though.

I’m sure Ole isn’t going to get fired by the board after this result, but Gary Neville definitely needs to be ignored by all United fans. He’s just useless now.

Unbelievable.

I can understand not wanting to boo the manager - but don't clap him off the pitch for feck sake!
And yet when I said these people are one of the main reasons we have this guy in charge, I was hating on the true fans.

Pathetic lack of standards.

Regardless of what we think, I can't see the board sacking him yet. Esp with a change of ceo on the horizon.

I believe he'll be given the CL campaign at least so, should we get out the group he'll be here until at least Feb imo

this is actually a very serious issue. was he signed off as fit to play by the medical team? if not wtf was ole doing playing him?

He completely dodged the question
His go-to rhetoric whenever Solskjaer is questioned is to simply say: "Well, Mourinho and LVG failed, so that means Ole has to stay forever because there is no guarantee that a new manager would change anything". It's such a defeatist and disgusting line of thinking.

I think they all want to get a slice of United, a job there not necessarily as a manager but a job.

So they're looking for themselves as well, once they're in there they want to have immunity so they're setting up the grounds with Ole.

That's my theory

The medical staff should have the authority to overrule any player selection decision.

So serious questions need to be asked. If they don't have that authority currently, why not? And if they do, why do they continue to allow unfit / injured players to be rushed back?

So desperate for the sack that I'm constantly refreshing this thread and twitter. Don't think I felt this disillusioned even at the end of Mourinho's tenure.

He's got a point (in a way) when he asks who would they get now but that's a massive failure of the board. Conte on a year/two year contract might have been the best but that ship has sailed.

A few minutes prior to this, he also went on about how Conte isn't a Man United manager and should/would never be considered

Carragher is twice the pundit Neville is and I actually don't remember disagreeing much with most of the things I have read him saying last few years.

The lunacy from the Solskjaer zealots which went unchecked on this forum over the past couple of years has been astounding. The poster you tagged was amongst the biggest offenders. Throwing around the ‘plastic’ accusation at every turn like a toddler in pre-school, all the while assuming he was superior to us mere mortals.

I’m absolutely mortified for him and his ilk. Imagine being so out of touch and convincing yourself that the others are the problem! :wenger:
He’s a worst poster on the forum..
Damn straight. Posters like him are part of the reason we as a club accept this mediocrity for so long.

If we’re winning most games, no-one will give a toss.
As I say, you’re comparing LVG horrendous boring attacking line up with Rashford, Ronaldo, Fernandes, Cavani, Sancho etc. It’s not remotely the same.

You think United fans would be bored watching Guardiola every week? Yeah I don’t.

Don’t believe that for one second, this place has become so toxic that even a 10 game winning run and a convincing win today & people would still find an excuse to get rid.

Just look at how far the Ole Discussion grows with a win compared to a loss.

I do believe that should we keep going down this road we’ll end up getting rid and maybe we should, something isn’t working.

Varane comes back and we’re improved, soon as Varane goes off injured we look like shite again. Players confidence is shot. Week on week losing and it just gets worse and worse.

Oh well Chelsea in a few weeks.

ironically I think we’ll go far in the UCL. Don’t know why, just have this feeling. That being said our luck has to run out at some point

He’s embarrassing himself now. Cliche after cliche.

Pochettino being mentioned again. It is destined to happened. Hopefully, he doesn’t win the champions league with psg and their players over their down tools like mbappe has been doing with his finishing so the board can hire him this summer.

on topic of mate fc, Neville ask who can they get hire now. That is having a laugh. There are many managers that can do a job better than Ole as caretaker at the moment. I don’t believe Neville is watching us play.
