Rashford rushed back again.
Maguire rushed back.
Pogba rushed back against Rochdale last season.
Varane rushed back.
Lindelof rushed back.
Shaw kept on the pitch for several minutes despite being concussed.

Phenomenal man-management. Definitely a manager who cares more about his players' well-being than his own job security...

Ole is a fraud and a coward to boot. I was back to replying to work emails while having a cigarette around the midway point of that second half, such was my disbelief at what I was witnessing when it became bleedingly obvious that he, instead of wanting us to have a right go at them, just didn't want to be on the receiving end of a cricket score again.

Earlier today in the 'Ole legacy' thread I said that his legacy will remain in tact given what he did for us as a player. After that second half, I'm not too entirely sure any more.

I'm hoping all results go the way they need to go to get us down to tenth. Maybe that will cause some response from those yank cnuts.

It's evident that for the Ole inners, it's not about whether Ole has done a good job or has a future in the club anymore, it's just about their ego. They just don't have the balls to admit they were wrong.

We're not going on a winning run. Even if he does get to the run of easy fixtures it's never been this bad. We've been terrible the whole season, no cohesion, no game plan, no chemistry. We won't finish top 4 this season.

We still have Villarreal away, Chelsea and Arsenal in 3 weeks. That wont be easy either, hope for an early Christmas present. Hope Emery, Tuchel and Arteta finish him off. Better an end with terror than terror without an end.

Yeah I have to agree. If Ole doesn’t get the sack between now and until the international break is over, Ole will be here for the rest of the season.

I won't disrespect Ole, but if his job is untenable, then the board needs to act now, give the new man a few games to look at the squad, and then back him financially in January to get the (hopefully) midfielders we need to push for top 4. I'd hate to be a City, Chelsea or soon to be Newcastle type fan with my thinking, but we need to spend BIG, and we need a manager in that we can trust to spend that money. Someone with a vision, a plan. I'd be okay with Brendan.

It's always been about trying to show that they're better fans than others. There, I said it.

It worries me that there are no rumours about him getting sacked whatsoever. I think we're stuck with him for the foreseeable future.

We're at the point where I see us as a team more likely to lose against Villareal. This is fecking unreal how we've fallen.

Translation: I am staying until I get the bag.
Yeah, even him wants to be sacked. Only the board wants to keep him. I assume they don’t want to pay him off. I expect some negotiations and he will be gone.

All this bullsh*t about loving the club…

I genuinely can't believe we decided not to get Conte. Any realistic appointment now is a massive gamble.

This is what really angers me about Ole. I can forgive not being a good enough manager. But his blatant disregard for the fitness and health of our players is a disgrace. He'd happily run each and every one of our players into the ground if he meant he could keep his job. All because he's too cowardly to even consider not playing one of his favourites. It's a disgrace and needs to be called out more for what it is.

He looked a broken man in the post match interview - could be the beginning of the end.......

The absolute standards of this club if a win and draw against average side and in between two humiliating loses to your closest rivals and miles of the premier league leaders is enough to save ole, pathetic if so

Is it really a surprise when you see fans clapping him off at old Trafford after we got beaten by our rivals? The ignorant board probably think the fans in general are happy with him.

“Punch drunk” “Proper hurt animal” proper cliche bingo there.

I’m sorry but it’s just cringeworthy.

Ole himself looks totally fed up at this point and is just waiting for the sack. A sad situation to be in, I hope we never hire a club legend to manage us ever again. I hope he knows we'll never stop loving him for what he did as a player.

Mate, the top reds gave Moyes a standing ovation when we were losing every home game

Don't mind that shit. He looked on the verge of tears after Liverpool and then after one win against Spurs he was like "Bring on the hate" and now he's a broken man again.

I have no sympathy for him anymore. Get your payoff and then piss off.

then after one win against Spurs he was like "Bring on the hate"
I didn't like the way he and most around the club acted like "crisis over" because we beat Spurs. Yeah that Liverpool game was some one off freak result but we're back on track now!

I’m out so been unable to follow the thread. Any strong rumours that his sacking is imminent?

Not his fault he got offered the contract. Each and every single one of us would take that payoff.
You can’t speak for everyone. I would put the club’s interest above mine. For some people respect and honor do not have a price.

Good on you! I’d take the 7 mil.

Maybe I'm being hopeful but I fully expect the club to sack him over the next 24 hours. This isn't sustainable and right now top 4 isn't even looking good, fully expect the rumour mill to kick in later this evening with an announcement following tomorrow.

Surely it is damaging the club's image with them not sacking him.
