Could he be sacked before the start of next season? Not saying I want that but if the results continue the way they are could it happen?

Poch was first choice. Can't say more than that. This club is on he read to nowhere and Ole is a passenger. Would have a. Hance if we had a decent team but we don't.

And there still are people who call us, who have concerns about Ole as idiots.

The players are fully to blame. Too many bad attitudes, half-arsed mentalities. No passion throughout this squad, no fighters whatsoever.

People are blaming Ole and reminiscing the good old Fergie days, but there’s not a chance fergie would have bought this sorry collection of overpaid, overpampered wastes of space.

Plenty of the players we have are Fergie players, or ones he'd have potentially signed.

Can we really afford another season flushed down the drain? Wouldn’t be surprised to see our putrid board panic and relieve Ole of his services at the end of the season.
You cant. I said it before they hired Ole this summer was going to be a BIG summer for United. No top four this season and if they got the coach wrong ( I think they did) plus no Champions league they wont get the needed quality and chances are no top four next season. They are falling into a deep hole here and the other clubs are widening the gap similar to what happened to Liverpool circa 2010.

Needs to walk along with Woodward .

We need to get a DOF in, then get poch.

We're lucky the moment to properly judge Ole has arrived so quickly.

The rest of the season will show us exactly how ruthless he is and whether he has the spine for this job.

Better this moment comes now than in a years time after we've gone through 2 more transfer windows and all the planning for the third.

If results are as bad as this and the board think they have identified a viable option then it's possible. I suspect he'll stay though provided he can partially stem this current rot. Very worrying though.

I think he'll save his reputation with the fans by walking away. Maybe I’m giving him too much credit.

You cannot excuse Ole for losing 4 0 to Everton. That's when the impetus is shared with the players and management. We not conceded a leak this bad for a few years. Disgusting

people wanna give this guy "backing" and let him build his own team, you know. our only points of reference being relegation cardiff and the norwegian league. the norwegian league. norwegian league.

madness.

This is beyond atrocious. How can we go possibly go into next season as things stand, on the back of these results?

Lets now respond by selling Pogba and De Gea and wondering next season why we cant play good football.

Not even a joke when I say this but this is fast becoming a sackable offence. Losing 4-0 to an average Everton with 20 mins remaining.

United board and the fans to be fair are to blame. They all got excited on his start and basically helped push the board to male a decision that would Make the fans happy. Everyone on this forum thought he was the real deal when it was obvious this was his Di Matteo moment.

I just cant understand why they could not wait until the end of the season to make such a big decision.

People keep saying this but we aren't going to completely reform our whole squad from top to bottom within one summer. No club does.
Not in one summer, yes. But God willing Ole gets backed properly we can see him and the admin take big steps to start the process.

This shit orchestrated Moyes, LVG's and Mou's end. They know that they are not good enough and will not get a better contract elsewhere. If Ole isn't ruthless by bringing some huge personnel changes then they will get him sacked. Its either him or they.
Huge personnel changes by handing Young and Jones new contrasts didn’t set a very good precedent .

I'm not saying I want him gone, but if he'd not been given the permanent job yet I doubt many would be calling for it now.

Least there is a bit of sense spoken in here for once, easy to blame Ole for this lot. Problems deep rooted, really time to get rid of many of these bstards

Mourinho is one of the greatest mangers in the modern game(The guy has won the treble twice!)and Van Gaal help produced one of the greatest football teams of all time.

Mourinho was sacked by Madrid and by Chelsea. The only hope was that the last season at both Madrid and Chelsea were outliers and under different circumstances wouldn't happen again. It did.
Van Gaal helped do that over 20 years ago. You're equating there reputations with them being good enough now and that simply isn't the case. none of the 4 managers we appointed should have been appointed, that's what is costing us.

This group of players have killed 3 managers before Ole. This squad needs to be culled. They’re dreadful and letting a legend of the club down. Nothing more to be said really

Can't blame Solskjaer as he was a caretaker manager.

The board seriously jumped the gun with appointing him. I had a feeling this would happen as I never thought our performances were that good.

I felt results were covering for some pretty poor performances, and the board bought into it and appointed him permanently. I think that reality is now showing in the results.

Should have waited until nearer the end of the season to get a clearer picture of what Solskjaer is like as a manager. His whole appointment was based on 3-4 months.

I don’t blame him for the players we have but why he plays Lindelof our best cb at rb, persist with Matic/Fred together in midfield or play lukuku flanked by two players who can’t cross is beyond me.

I also feel at times he tries to be too tactical. What happened to playing our own game and making the opposition worry about us?

At the least I think he deserves a pre-season and a few signings but I still think we should have gone for poch

Stop being nice now Ole. Don’t tell us about how well they are training or entertain talk about days under SAF. Be ruthless and brutal.

Playing the chuckle brothers when they played shit on Tuesday and then plays on Matic when he has been shit throughout the game.

OGS is to blame for this shambles.

Assuming we get beat by City, it will be what 7 defeats in 9 since the PSG game.

I can’t believe we didn’t wait till the end of the season before judging. There was a lot of luck to our wins. The board as usual keeps fecking up.

“Ones he’d have potentially signed” is complete and utter guesswork.

The players Fergie signed were generally younger prospects or squad players. And that’s not to mention they’ve all aged considerably since.

Jose was right but we did not want to back him and his methods, tough as they were. He did not win 2 Champions League for nothing.

Someone in the match day thread said that Ole must have told a bunch of the players they were being sold for them to down tools like this. Thoughts?

We didnt play any good teams in that first run
