You seem the one to take the burden from Haram and co of policing whoever doesn’t like Lingard to be branded out as agenda driven. You the same moral chap who has no problem in Ole’s agenda of persising with shit players like Lingard and even giving them captain’s armband. Fans like you have lowered standards for Ole so much that any shit decision is fine and reasoned for. Tuanzebe was captain not so long ago, and is also much better captain material than Jesse Lingard, guess that wasn’t important because Ole likesLingard much better.

This post would have made sense if I wanted Ole to stay as manager, yeah your posts are as good as Lingard's performances.

There are people who don't like Lingard and there are many like me who wants him to be sold and then there is other category 'MikeLuhg' category which is with people like you when it comes to players like Lingard.

Then what is the fecking problem? This is very little to do with me rating or not Lingard, this is about Ole and his favoritism of Lingard, it's an absolute shit decision and you are playing some moral card about me calling Ole an imbecile? Yeah, it's not a nice word, but the many shit decisions made by the manager deserve much worse, so you can keep your moral preaching to yourself. Wonder in which "category" of posters are you, the ones always on a moral podium?

As long as it's not in your category it's all good. Saying Manutd legend shouldn't be abused and called silly names is being on moral podium

Yeah Lingard is such a favorite for Ole that he is playing this meaningless Europa league game when the first choice players are rested for league game. Ole can't even play his favorite card right.

Calling someone an imbecile is abusing someone? Jesus Christ, don't be a fecking snowflake, you are gonna make me cry here.

Are you actually denying that Lingard is a favorite of Ole? If true, you are an even bigger hypocrite.

The only one making a major fool out of themselves is you. All our first team players are in Manchester. Lingard is dragged on this trip because he needs match fitness, because he sits on the bench now a days. Chill the feck out and stop embarrassing yourself.

So somehow his favorite is dropped and players like Pereira is preferred? Weird favoritism.

Ironical you calling anyone snowflake when you start crying when someone is not abusing Lingard.

That's too much to think.

Couldn't be prouder of the boys

Probably Some rubbish about how old they are

Good experience for them and they'll learn from it.

etc etc

Lost to Astana but played youngsters that won't be here in a couple of years anyway. Great success!!

I won't pay much into today's result despite wanting him out ASAP, but it was a team full of youngsters that lack experience and lost their head once the opposition scored. Not helped by the fact the senior players they have to look forward to on the pitch were Shaw and Lingard.

Wow this absolute imbecile just made Lingard captain
Who would you give it to? He's the most senior player on the pitch. There are many things you can criticise Ole for, but for this? Just shows you have an agenda.

Making the most senior player in the squad captain in a meaningless game is definitely a reason to abuse Ole. What an imbecile

Yeah, Ole's got a ready made excuse for poor results every time he fields a team of kids who aren't ready.

using the term snowflake without a hint of irony  so much rage over so little.

He also sent him to play in the 2nd team in the middle of the weak right down in Kazakhstan or about 4800 kilometers from Manchester while the starters will get a rest. Which means he lost most of the faith he had in him at the start of the season when he was regular.

Not hard to get, but yeah, Ole is an imbecile.

Well that would be exactly what I would say. Can’t take this performance away from the kids. Really well done.

I lament a lot of things about Ole, but this afternoon's match is absolutely not something worth bringing up. It is a nothing match, we risked no first team players (snicker, Shaw) and will get a full week of rest in.

Does it really make a difference if you finish 1st or 2nd in a Europa league group? United finished 2nd in the group in 2016-17 and that didn't stop them winning the Cup

I'm a bit torn on this one I think. On one hand it's nice to see the young lads get a game like this, on the other hand though in my book it's not really how you introduce the youth in. This type of selection reeks of LVG's throwing young players in, your Blacketts or McNairs who months later end in League Ones of this world.

The game was quite telling though. We can't rely on any of these guys. There was not one player out there that looked remotely anything special. Good luck putting our faith into these youngsters.

No but we have a bunch of tactical masterminds here who clearly have won many trophies on their resume.

If you don't see anything special in Laird or Greenwood, then there's something wrong with you rather than players.

That has nothing to do with LvG though. These players were simply mostly pretty shit. Same as most of our youngsters right now. Actually I don't think any of them are anything special at all. Would be surprised if anyone of the bunch out there today made it here. Gomes and Greenwood might have the best chances.

Fecking hell.
No club anywhere are relying on loads of kids, but a good few of them today blatantly have potential.
Greenwood, Gomes, Garner, Levitt, Laird all did themselves no harm today.

That season we had a manager with three European trophies on his resume.

Game didn't tell anything, these players won't be playing together, they will play alongside much better players, at least the ones who are good enough. Among the 13 outfield players, 10 of them barely played any games at top level. 6 of them made debuts and couple of players have made less than 5 starts.

Most of them won't make it and the only reason they played was to rest first team but there are few talented players in this team.

Greenwood I agree. He was so isolated today that I forgot about him. Pretty dire selection though isn't it

They're second in the Dutch league and 5 points clear of PSV. If we manage to get a shot on target against them that would be an improvement on the first fixture.

Didn't know we will play our home game in Netherlands.

I don't think that the game tells us a thing and we are not supposed to rely on them anyway. One of the worst things that you can do for young players is to introduce them in a weak lineup full of youth players, if we really wanted to test them, we would have done it one by one over the course of the last 4 months. This game was just used as a resting opportunity for the first team with no care for results or performance, in the great scheme of things it makes sense but it means that it has no value.
