For me, him staying sat down after they equalised said it all. Get up, let your presence be felt and try and motivate the lads. He's clearly not a tactical manager so he must be motivational at least. Out of his depth IMO.

Sorry but he is out of his depth. And we need to do something now before we leave it late like last year.

Little to no chance of that happening. Indecently, it’ll probably be Liverpool who put the final nail in the coffin again.

Our club has fecked up so much that we have even taken away the option of removing a clearly incompetent manager to give it to a save pair of hand’s, while we do the necessary due diligence in making the next longer term appointment.

We did the equivalent of proposing to a stripper by giving the Ole the job the moment we thought it was true love.

We should stick with OGS he will come good, just look at his record.

A Manager for 10 years.
Won the Norwegian league in 2011 & 2012.
Won Norwegian cup 2013.
Got Cardiff City relegated.

That's the CV of a great teams manager.
Quite a lot to build on there.

They’ve started the rebuild now, looks like they completely trust him.

I honestly think he’s here next season minimum even if we finish 10th.

He just doesn't inspire any sort of confidence. He always struck me as way too passive, maybe he's very different behind closed doors, but the performances don't exactly point to that.

He's worse than Moyesy. When's his banner going up? Our fans love shit managers

Apart from West Ham and tonight I’ve been enjoying it a lot more, looking forward to Monday night game that much I’ve booked the next day off work
Didn't enjoy WH, but today was something else. After Moyes's 82 crosses this was the most impotent game I've seen us in attack. Boot it wide, two short passes, shot from 35 yards or tumble it in to lose possession. Rinse and repeat. No movement, no plan, just going through the motions.

The cult of Ole posters are now as delusional as the cult of Mourinho posters.

Ole will always be a club legend for what he did as a player. But he is not the right man for the job.

He looks clueless and majorly out of his depth.

Criticising his managerial ability is not a slight on him as a person. Wake up!!

There is not a chance in hell Ole will be fired atm, no chance. The board have made it clear we are rebuilding and they will give Ole time. They will look like right mugs if they went back on that a game later

Should offer a contract extension just in case other European big boys see how legendary he is.

Literally as soon as Phelan replaced Quieroz, our football under SAF started to get worse.

He's a dinosaur.

He should be sacked when Ole is.

Carrick and McKenna can go too.

Carrick has coached under so many different managers now and they've all failed. He has to go too.

They said the same with Moyes. Pretty sure they were saying Mourinho would stay same time last season.

There is no improvement. We playing fecking Rochdale and Astana. What’s the playing style? All this talk about fitness and we look unfit.

I don't want him sacked already but definitely want couple on the backroom team to go and brought in few more experience personal who excels on training ground work and than we can access at the end of the season when there will be viable option available to replace him be it Poch, Nagelsmaan or whoever.

So you want people coming into do his job for him? Is he going to pay for them out of his 7m a year salary?

It's like learning to ride a bike, he will learn eventually right? :D

Nope, absolutely no other manager would have beaten Rochdale today on our own turf. It's the players.

Be honest, a Manchester United team should be able to overcome a League 1 Rochdale team with Dot Cotton in charge.

We blamed LVG, We blamed Jose and now we're blaming Ole. At some point, we have to start looking at the glaring deficiencies in our squad and perhaps directing a significant portion of that blame in their general direction.

A rabbit caught in the head lights. If there is a more apt description of our current manager then I’m all ears.

Embarrassing interview after the match, claims that "that's the way we do things at United, we never do things the easy way, we've always been like that at this club" while saying he is extremely happy and what's the worst that can happen if you get knocked out? Christ, I wish I could lose my love for football. This is a shambles right now.

I really hope you're wrong.

No manager should get a 2nd season if they finish 10th.

Just looking at his demeanor on the sideline must be enough to know how clueless he's and of course how uninspiring he must be for the players. Totally Moyes level of cluelessness and LVG level of being uninspiring and bland.

He was waving at fans when the players were standing around before the pens. This job breaks managers

And we're not terrible now? It took like 2 secs to find you calling our previous manager a cnut and a fraud and they first or early second season so maybe wind it in.

I don't condone such language against any of our own managers but those who dish it out shouldn't moan about others doing it., especially when you're calling mods useless

Mourinho is a wanker and behaved like one during his tenure. Hence he was called out for it. Ole is not behaving that way and I’m quite sure he won’t do so in the future. There’s an obvious distinction between the two.

The language doesn’t bother me inherently. Calling a spade a spade is important. But when we’ve got posters ripping into club legends then they should be called out for the bellends they are. The moderators should be called out for allowing it to go unchecked. If you don’t like this viewpoint then you’re free to put me on ignore.

yeah, he will still be here next season. Not finishing top 4 wont be a sackable offense this time. I think next season around Christmas time will be where we will sack him if we still look clueless (which we probably will)

I agree, but surely surely a manager should be able to get more out of that team as poor as it was against the sort of opposition we've faced so far this season? I'd bin off most of the squad, but I wouldn't fancy Ole to get the best out of quality talent anyway.

Guess what all 3 managers have in common?

They're all not good enough.

Genuinely can't see him making it to next season. Maybe maybe we turn this around and he lasts the season, but I still think thats a long shot at the moment.

Is anyone having a go at someone for criticising him? I think you agree that personal abuse is stepping over the line, which is what I have seen posters being called out for.

In the meantime we should keep Ole of course. I bet you many thought Bebe will come good eventually. It's the hope that never dies.

99% of United fans are blaming the board first and foremost. The difference is probably half of the fan base think Ole will come good under a different board.

The big boys will be back Monday it’ll be like watching Brazil (not sure whether that’ll turn out to be us or arsenal though)

This point is completely lost on the OLE IN crowd. Imagine basing our entire rebuild around him as our manager, it's bonkers, it was always bonkers and it continues to be bonkers.

It’s not just bonkers, it’s fecking terrifying!

The facts are that since he has been made permanent the results have got worse, the performances have got worse. So what's changed? Has he become a shit manager just because he signed a contract or have the players become shit? Which one is it? You can't say it's all on Ole when the results are great but all on the players when the results are shit. That's ridiculous.

If he had never played for us he would never have become our manager and he definitely wouldn't have survived the summer.

That's extremely bad, almost worse than the crap Mourinho said after the Sevilla game.

OGS looked like he didn’t give a feck, actually. Just sat there and that was it. I gather it shouldn’t be like that...
