I'm going to reserve judgement until next season. There's a lot of dross in our squad that needs replacing.
 
This is depressing to watch. Have to stand behind our manager though.

He needs better players. This team is shiite. Fred is awful, Young is awful, Lukaku is awful. Pogba...well god knows what the feck is going on in his head

You are being reactionary. We've been undone by individual lapses of concentration at the back, and poor finishing up top. We could have been 2 or 3-0 up if Lukaku and Lingard hadn't missed sitters, and you can't really account for one of your midfielders just giving the ball away, or your defenders completely switching off.

The Arsenal defeat was disappointing, but we didn't play badly. The Wolves FA Cup defeat has been the only truly disappointing performance.

He's not even had a transfer window yet, which is why we're seeing a strange reliance on players like Young, because we haven't an alternative at the moment.
 
Rushed to appoint him. Have we played decent football since the Bournemouth game? What the feck is our style? Are we still too tired to press? Its the manager or the lack of quality in our team.

It’s amazing the sort of thing people come out with when you have a different opinion to them. I’m of the opinion we should never have given Ole the job and I was absolutely crucified for it.

He'll never be given those kind of resources. The whole point of sacking Mourinho was to expose the fact that this squad full of great players was massively underperforming due to the incompetence of the curmudgeonly manager.

I wouldn't expect more than two or three in.
 
Seeing more and more holes in his decision making.

I cannot see solskjaer taking this club to level where we are comfortably above the top 6 and essentially in contention for the top 3 he doesn't have enough pedigree.

I also blame the glazers, it achieved absolutely nothing giving him the job when we are in the decisive side of the season and the team are in woeful form.

He's got 3 seasons to make a change, recruitment will be a nightmare due to no top 4, that's 2 seasons to imbed players and somehow keep De Gea / Pogba. It's a poisen chalice.
 
This is disgraceful. Our 2 games against Wolves reminds me of the Moyes era. Feck out of here with this shite he deserves big criticism for games like these.

Yeah, I've said for ages that, bar his first three games, we haven't played well at all.

Hopefully, with a full pre-season and him getting the players he wants, we'll see the football we played in those first three games on a more consistent basis.

Bingo. Ole will get all the time in the world with fans. Jose Mourinho got his name sung despite being a self serving twat. Board signed Ole in a bid to spend less. Ole's at the wheel don't you know.
 
We played well today it’s on braindead players like Young but to be honest he shouldn’t have started him.
 
Well, I can’t see any reason why Ole would have lost the dressing room, so the only conclusion to draw is that many of these players need to not be in the dressing room next season.
 
If this club does not make major investments in key positions this summer, we will never move forwards. I don't at all believe even Pep could win the title with this squad. Mourinho had to go, but if we're still starting Young, Matic, or Lingard next season, then it would be delusional to ever expect anything more than a top four finish from this side.
 
Drama queens out in force. We need massive investment which will probably not happen. Not the managers fault

This forum is really bad. It doesn’t represent Manchester United’s fanbase at all. It’s full of kids who don’t understand United.

The Utd sub reddit is better. Far more balanced over there.

On the whole he's done an exceptional job. That doesn't change with a defeat to Wolves.

I agree tbh I dont know why they could not see how the season finishes first to properly evaluate him and then make a decision. I think it was rushed he was living a Di Matteo high but we will see what he is made of soon enough.

People are expecting miracles from a decidedly average squad. His start has convinced people we are miles better than we actually are. That we got anywhere close to the top four is an excellent showing from him.
 
You lot aren’t even giving him a summer to clear the mass amount of dross that has plaques our club for years? You simply have to look at the players now, no hiding places anymore. Who aside from Pogba, De Gea, Rashford and Martial is United quality? The rest are either past it or wouldn’t look out of place in a mid table side.

Tbf the reason why It is such a big deal is because if United feck up this appointment Ole will be at the helm minimum of 2 years and if United regress and dont progress then they will fall further and further behind there rivals and start to red on Liverpool levels of water. Its not so black and white.
 
You can't blame ole for lingard and lukaku missing sitters and then the defence having two brain farts plus one of them getting himself sent off.

These shit bastards need replacing in the summer
 
We need a Guardialo summer. Ole, or anyone else for that matter, won't succeed without it. Hope Eddie is out with a Cheque book ready to spend this summer. Also, we need to be bold and ready to take losses on certain players. Too many mediocre plodders stinking up the place.

Win, loss and draw, I've held the same view that we should wait as I was unsure of certain aspects of our play. I shouldn't need to dig up my posting history to prove my views arent reactionary or on the basis of tonight
 
How can anyone watch the chances we missed tonight and the goals we conceded and deduce that he’s to blame?
